Sotiria at the beach was amazing, Kiki at the pool bar makes the best gin brambles and Antonis just makes sure everyone is happy! Can’t wait to go back next year

I cannot fault anything about this hotel, but I will certainly highlight the cleanliness; the quality of the food and drinks and let’s not forget the gorgeous beach location

It is a beautiful hotel, on a great location, well and clean kept, delicious food ……but we came back because of the people!!! Thank you for being a part of our vacation! We had a wonderful time and we are waiting to see you again next year

This was our second visit to The Atlantica Amalthia and it was even better than last year. The service, the rooms, the food - everything was as good as we remembered and in some cases even better

It’s important to know there are two halves to this hotel - one half is recently built , modern and on the opposite side of the road from other (beachside) part

Went for lunch several times at the beach bar, the wait for food and service was way too long. This shouldn't happen at lunchtime when asking for a sandwich and chips

There’s two sides which makes it very interesting. One side on the beach front and the other where the pools are. We were given a sea view on second floor and I couldn’t fault it

Bed very comfortable, bedding clean and room spotless. Especially after the disaster of our original hotel. We are only two days in to a two week holiday and I could stay for longer

Also would like to mention the lovely lady who does the massages. She was amazing and got rid of my sciatic pain. Very friendly and will definitely have another one before leaving

All inclusive is not really all inclusive. Rooms at the seaside (first floor) are old and small. Facility's are not very good.

After arriving in Chania to Galini hotel up the hill, we weren’t happy with the hotel so booked this hotel

The pool is other side of a busy road so you use the underpass. The reception staff were amazing friendly and good at their job. The hotel is lacking in areas the pool bar needs more staff and to stay open longer

I’ve visited this resort twice now and it’s great. Lovely staff, nice apartments (especially sea view apartments) and is located right on the beach with two pools. Lots of food options nearby as well as in the resort

Just came back, we stayed in this hotel 10 days. One of the best hotels ever visited in Europe. The beach is just in front of the restaurant, the bus stop to Chania across the hotel

Short walk to the beach. Clean rooms. Air condition, safe and fast Internet included free. Great value for money. Walkway over the street. Great food in restaurant.

We were greeted by Alexander and his team with a smile and welcome drink. Our room was exactly the one we requested and we looked out to the beautiful pool and beach. It was a very large room with a amazing size bed

We are returning guests because this is a very nice hotel and give exellent service all over.The location is very good, in Agia Marina, with direct access to the beach from the hotelgarden. We will return next year.

We will most definitely return here. The beach is stunning and Chania is one of the most beautiful places we have visited. It costs 2€ each way and the bus goes from outside the hotel

Or move the tap Curtains in bedroom to fit properly Food, would like to have seen more themed food nights eh Chinese, Indian etc or both on one night. Other than this we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone

There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants outside with lots of places to buy gifts. Thank you Alexander and your amazing team for making our holiday so special. And for the coffee while waiting for our bus

Things that would make this hotel even better: A space in the room for the 'ladies' to sit and put makeup on. (Space currently taken up by the TV and coffee making machine and tray) Maybe the TV on the wall

Lovely hotel in a good location. Our room was ideal overlooking the pool/garden and always kept clean. Thanks to the staff who all work hard and are welcoming

Hotel was spotless, staff friendly and helpful and the pool area big enough for everyone to have a sunbed!! The hotel was perfectly positioned for the beach, some great restaurants and the bus into Chania

We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis ands there was always plenty to choose. There is a very good swimming pool although we did not use it as we were at the lovely beach which was just across the road

Our second visit to this excellent hotel. We asked and were given the same room as the year before which we were very happy with. We had B&B again as there is a huge variety of items available

The room had air con a balcony and nice view of the pool, grounds and the sea

a good hotel by the sea, its own beach, a restaurant with a view of the sea, a large parking lot, the only downside is that for some reason they also made parking spaces right in front of the windows of some of the rooms, it would be better if they weren't there, it spoils the view, the staff is nice, everyone is polite, we were surprised that they gave us a brand new umbrella for free to use for...

The best hotel in agia marina on the best strip of beach - we walked most of it and it's the best section of beach and sea by far

The staff are all ridiculously friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was terrific and the view from our room was lovely. (We had room 6 which is supposedly the best one) Hope to visit again in the future

The sunbeds on the grassy area by the pool were very much in demand every day, but we preferred the beach anyway (coarse sand and rocky when you go into the sea so take beach shoes!) Everywhere was very clean and tidy, a well-looked after hotel

Back for a 2nd year and it didn’t disappoint. We stayed in one of the sea view rooms again (#500 row) which gives you a view of the pool, sea and bar, and even though the hotel is quite compact it isn’t noisy

All the staff are very welcoming and attentive; a special mention goes to Klapsas the cat for keeping us entertained at breakfast! Bar area and Ouzaki beach restaurant are lovely to have lunch in, the bar has a nice vibe in the evening

However, the hotel is in such a great location you can walk out onto the main street and take your pick of great restaurants and bars in the area; either away from the main street or along the beach front

The pool bar made excellent cocktails and Manos's cocktails are far the best ! The Thalassa is in a good location with plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance

We explored more of Aghia Marina this time (left out of hotel), Platanias is to the right and a lot busier. Beautiful Chania is an easy bus ride away and well worth a visit

The star of this hotel is bar tender Nektarios with whom I spent many an evening with at the pool bar putting the world to rights and joining in with the occasional shot with the Polish visitors, cheers from Steve

Juste un petit point plus négatif : il faut des fois faire très attention pour traverser la rue qui sépare le bâtiment annexe du restaurant de l'hôtel. Un petit passage pour piétons ne serait pas un luxe

We had a good time here staying for two weeks in May all inclusive, The hotel is well situated for walks to the shops or other nearby bars and restaurants should you require a change

Bon hôtel adults only, chambre propre, belle vue sur la mer quand on est dans le bâtiment annexe. Personnel super, toujours un petit bonjour en anglais

Had a junior suite room in the building on the beach, WOW! It was super clean, comfortable and within 30 second walk to beachfront. Cleaned everyday with fresh towels

Minuses: Bathroom and toilet in the room- water everywhere, no privacy as the walls are made of milk glass, no wardrobe, just hangers

We stayed in the newly refurbished rooms which were lovely and clean and very nicely refurbished. The pool area and beach were lovely but we didn't have time to use these facilities

Friendly staff, good beachbar/poolarea and nice location. But bad aircondition, very hot at night in the room. And in the reception/common areas. Breakfast was mediocre with narrow selection

You can sit where you want for breakfast, unlike Porto Platanias. Great breakfast that you can take to the seaside. Two large rooms, including kitchenette, two air conditioners, balcony

Superior room was really nice and had perfect beds. Even the extra bed in the room was really comfortable. Room was very clean and has a good air condition. And so were pool bar with snack and drinks

6 Two TVs -- one large TV with Netflix, YouTube, etc. The only con I list is that the parking is a small dirt road, which gets your car very dusty and dirty

Also very friendly staff there. The pool area was clean and nice. The location was perfect and near everything (bus station, mini train station, restaurants, Agia Marina and Platanias)

A family-run, friendly small but very nice hotel. The view of the beach and the small island opposite the hotel was priceless. The staff was very friendly but also busy trying to please everyone

The hotel is great and staff was helpfull and always keep smiling, always asking if all is ok. Localization is awsome, next to the beach and near to shops bus stop and restaurants

Our room was good for two girls. Breakfast was very simple and there wasn’t lot of things to eat. It was amazing how close the beach is because you can hear the waves to your room

The breakfast is very varied and with quality products. The property is 150 meters from the sea

But we were treated excellent by the host and moved to two-rooms apartment in the village, where it was the whole different story: bigger space, huge private balcony, quiet surroundings and it actually was cheaper then the modern room! Breakfasts in the hotel are perfect: a lot of food, tasty and unique

They are also right above the street and no privacy - neighbour rooms can observe you from the outside and literally anyone from the street has an access right outside your room so can't feel safety when ti keep the window/door open (the window is the entrance)

The great staff is very service minded, and great rooms with an amazing atmosphere. The place is located just a few meters from the beach whereas the hotel have their own place with different options for beach beds

Cute aparthotel on the beach, simple furnished rooms but very comfortable and clean. Amazing staff and great prices for the drinks. I felt very welcomed and relaxed there, will definitely return!

It seemed great value for money at €85 a night, air con was spot on, WiFi worked well, swimming pool was perfect size and refreshing with always plenty of sun beds available, beach access was perfect and the staff were a delight

We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at the Eden Beach. We were given a two bedroom top floor apartment with sea views and two balconies

The apartments have a lovely pool/beach view. In the nearby bar/restaurant, Sebastian’s, you have a discounted breakfast for 6€ instead of 9€

The beach is clean and sunbeds+umbrellas are free ☀️ Very happy with the place, it’s quiet, calm and clean… what more do you need? 🌸

This is a great place to stay, right on the beach and handy for everything. The apartments are cleaned every other day and Georgina who owns and runs it is very polite and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for her

The room was clean and tidy and everyday would be cleaned and the bins would be emptied by the staff. We had a room with sea view which was breathtaking. Sea is just in front of the Hotel

It is a cozy hotel, with a nice pool area and a great location. If you go 5 minutes to the left you’ll reach our favorite bar Tropicano and of course much more. The best thing about the hotel was definitely the staff

My friend and I are two girls from Denmark, who spend 1 week in Agia Marina and stayed in Epimendis hotel. Our flat consisted of 1 bedroom, 1 dining room with a small kitchen, 1 bathroom, and 2 outside sitting areas

We enjoyed to make our own breakfast and there were plenty of shops nearby the hotel witch made it easy to get groceries. It is not a 5 stars hotel, but you get good value for the money

Very friendly and helpful people. The lovely receptionist help us with renting a car and because of her we got a great discount. Also she help us book a boat trip. If we needed anything they were available to us

A shortcut to the beach was easy to find and it took only some minutes to get there. Two supermarkets within 150 m and many tavernas close by, too

Love the staff and the can-do-fix-it attitude that you find here. Even non-alcohol drink was easy to fix which is quite unusual in this area

We stayed for a whole great week ! Our stay was amazing , the location is great , just a 15min drive from the center of chania, 50 meters maximum from the beach and at the way to kissamos that you drive for all the amazing beaches

The room was large with a pool view and really clean with quality beds and sheets

Ageliki the hostess and Achilleas her husband was so helpful with directions proposals where to eat what to do and of course every day she was preparing for us fresh eggs and fresh orange juice and whatever we wanted to eat

The staff at the Minerva gladly let us use some beds when we wanted a beach day (@ 6 days) as long as we bought some drinks. On our last day we stopped there for some lunch, a good couple of hours looking out to the sea

Right by the beach, top-notch service and spacious rooms (if you can, pick the sea view). Breakfast is monotonous which is expected for the price. 20 minutes to Chania by bus, great restorants in the vicinity.

We had lunch at the patio at Minerva restaurant, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! The setting is beautiful with a serene sea view, the food was very good with fresh local ingredients, and the service was outstanding

This is applies even to guest at the hotel! After staying here for a week, buying a lot of things from the pool bar, I was immediately told to buy something from the pool bar when going to the beach and the beach was practically empty

We spent an afternoon at the pool / sea at the restaurant. Good food, friendly service and a very pleasant atmosphere. The children could enjoy the pool while eating

Pool area is on the smaller side with a small pool bar that serves some food as well. In my opinion there is not enough sunbeds at the pool area

It seems that many of the sunbeds has been relocated to the hotels beach area where you have to buy something from the pool bar to be allowed to use them
