Galini Sea View Hotel
Agia Marina, Agia Marina 🧭 Map
Had an amazing two weeks spent at Galini with all inclusive. Nice and clean hotel. Very nice staff, especially one bartender that stood out to us were Mateo. He was very nice and helping. He recommended some good spots (beaches, etc) on the Island that went to. You have transport down to the beach/market with a golf cart wich is very convinient because of a step hill. Good food and drinks also at...
To start off: WOW Such a lovely place. Me and my friends stayed for 2 full weeks with all inclusive, and this were JUST what we were looking for. We find the other reviews to be untrue. Yes, the hotel is located on a steep hill, but this should not be a surprise to the guest. A little research would have revealed that. Our stay here was lovely. We got great rooms, they have great food. The cherry...
We brought our two boys and they loved the mini waterpark and Kids’ Club. The 5 outdoor pools kept them excited all day. The buffet restaurant had great variety and the spa gave us some much‑needed relaxation too. Excellent family choice.
Overall I am somewhat happy with my stay but there are a few things I would like to point out. I was hesitant to start by tipping the housekeeper, I thought it was only right to do so at the end and as a result the room was not cleaned well enough. For example the bed was not changed for the 10 nights I stayed and the towels were only changed twice. On the second to last day I had to go to reception...
We alternated between poolside lounging, spa pampering, and afternoon beach swims. With free loungers, umbrellas, and shuttle, we never lacked options. The hotel's peaceful vibe made it easy to unwind—yet always exciting.
Our stay at the Gallini Sea View Hotel in Crete was average. The location with the beautiful sea view was definitely a plus, and the staff was friendly. The rooms and food were OK, but nothing special. There were no major flaws or special highlights. Overall, a solid stay that was neither particularly bad nor outstanding.

The facilities are fantastic and Angie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Would definitely come back for sure. Don’t hesitate, just book it!
Angie was so amazing and helpful! Thank you for making our trip so memorable!
Excellent XSuites! Loved our three - night stay at these superb suites. From our immaculate, luxurious, and spacious suite to the most attentive staff, the experience was a joy from start to finish. Plenty choice at breakfast served on the rooftop restaurant. Really appreciated my birthday gift of a delicious bottle of red wine. Thank you so much!
It is a small, super modern hotel. Breakfast has a lot to choose from and tastes very good. The suites are cleaned daily. Many thanks to Angie for the great service. She was very friendly and helpful. 🥰
Modern hotel with excellent service. I have only good things to say about this place, so I will list few down here: 🍇 amazing breakfast with sea view from the rooftop ❄️ rooms with air condition 🛁 jacuzzi 🧹 very clean rooms and overall cleanliness 🏖️ 1min walk to the beach 🚗 will help you in case you need a car to rent or a transport from/to the airport etc. 🏊♂️ cozy pool area with some sunshades...
Very good. No false advertising here. Suites are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are top tier. High quality breakfast and friendly staff. Worth the price.

Lovely hotel! Brilliant location right on seafront and close to town's restaurants and shops. Staff are so friendly - Pinelopi and Katerina on Reception were extremely kind. Welcome drink on arrival and a voucher for a free drink at the bar also. Pool area is relaxed and there are loungers on beach and round the pool so best of both options. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast really nice and...
Just returned from a week at this fabulous hotel . This hotel is amazing the bed one of the comfiest i've ever slept in . The attention to details is second to none and i would 100 percent stay there again . The staff penelope on reception and eddie who worked in the restaurant and bar were lovely and friendly . The location of the hotel is amazing as well as the food we ate one evening in the restaurant...
My parents came from Azerbaijan for one week vacation here and absolutely loved it: nice and clean hotel, access to the beautiful beach, a beach bag with toiletries. What make their stay even more lovely was a very attentive staff - Penelope, Catarina, Mohamed, and special thanks to Andreas for his signature daiquiris!
My wife and I loved this hotel. Right next to the beach and breakfast was wonderful. But what made our trip extra special was the hotel receptionist Katarina. She was so kind and helpful. She gave us the best recommendations and made the hotel feel like a home.
Me and my daughter really loved our week at the Porto Platanias Luxury. Nice room/suite and facilities, clean, peaceful environment and top tier service from the lovely staff! The room was very well equiped, good comfortable bed, great air condition, bathroom supplies including razors and other useful items. Also a ironing board and iron so one could get wrinkels out of the shirts. Breakfast was...
we won’t be staying here again. The amenities are just not up to our usual standards. the airconditioning system is substandard so the room was rarely cold enough and we are in the air con business. out of the hundreds of hotels we have stayed at in the past 40 years, this is the only hotel that doesn’t supply free water every day. Our television had constant internet issues so we couldn’t use it...

Platanias, Platanias 🧭 Map
Large resort hotel in Platanias village right next to the beach. The hotel is spread over a huge area, with many room types to choose from in several buildings. There are several smaller and larger pools between the buildings, which are not heated. Unfortunately, hotel guests "reserve" the sunbeds in the morning, so it often happened that although there was no one in the pools and around them, we still...
We were moved from the village resort to the beach resort due to being under subscribed at the end of the season. We were worried as we booked there for the water park but on jet 2 looking into it they were keeping the park open with the rest of the resort shutting. Fine print though states both resorts have to pay extra for the water park at €15 per person. We did use it one day and as the resort...
We had the most wonderful vacation in years! The hotel is spotless and well-organized, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel very welcome. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided every day. The food was excellent – delicious, varied, and plentiful. Even though the hotel had many guests, the restaurant never felt crowded and the service from the waiters was consistently...
Our first impression of Porto platanias is that it is a lower mid-tier family resort. While the inclusions of play parks, multiple pools, baby beds and a daycare are nice considerations they do not overcome the multiple shortcomings we have noticed in our first few hours here. Our first disappointment was the receptionist who could not be bothered to give us 100% of his attention during check-in; he...
Staff were super friendly and went above and beyond. Hotel was modern, big and had lots of pools. Rooms were clean and fresh. Restraunt for all inclusive was lovely! Views were also great looking onto beach while eating. Would definitely recommend. The only things to improve would be that by 9am all sunbeds was taken. I think staff should go around and remove towels from reserved beds. You could only...
Perfect hotel, very friendly staff and we were always feeling velcome. We were travelling with one handicapped child in a wheelchair and the staff always looked after us and were very welcoming. What we expreienced as a bit negative was that even though all signs were saying that reserving sun beds were "illegal" most people did this every day so that if we were to get seats beside the pool before...

Fantastic Stay – Clean, Comfortable, and Relaxing
I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent—staff were friendly, helpful, and always attentive. The hotel and room were spotless, very clean and comfortable. The facilities were great, and the spa service was also very good. I especially appreciated the multiple swimming pools with plenty of space to relax...
Stayed 6 nights in a pool view room which we were upgraded to. Had a beautiful view from the 2nd floor.
The bedroom and bathroom were both very spacious and clean.
The buffet breakfast was excellent. Was fresh every morning and had a very large variety of hot and cold dishes and sweets.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Overall a pleasant stay in a beautiful property.
My husband and I stayed at the Minoa Palace for a portion of our honeymoon with the half board package and we greatly enjoyed the experience. Their location was great and transportation to Chania was easily accessible. The half board includes breakfast and dinner in which the food was excellent. We choose this option so that we could venture out during the day and explore other places for lunch. Their...
I am very satisfied with the service. Ctrip's customer service is also very professional. Thank you very much.
We spent the last night of our weeks holiday at this resort as a treat. The room was very good - very clean. Some excellent perks such as welcome drinks / cocktails and a bottle of wine. The Spa was beautiful- I enjoyed their amazing cool pool and jacuzzi all to myself.
Beach and hotel pools good.
What let this place down was the very poor quality of food we ordered with room service. I had to send...
The resort grounds are very beautiful! The beach area is nicely kept, from there you can see breathtaking sunrises & sunsets. There are plenty of beach chairs available, and you can have a fresh beach towel every day, if you wish. You can get served with food/beverages the entire time the beach area is "open". The food choices are amazing, a massive buffet both at breakfast & dinner, although dinner...

Amazing property! Best all inclusive food by far and staff was great! From the front desk to the be and buffet everyone was pleasure. 10-12 min drive to the Old Port and some good restaurants within walking distance. I will definitely be back!
The view from the outdoor areas was stunning and countered the dates indoor facilities especially the rooms. This is clearly not a 5 star hotel. The meals are all buffet style and the layout makes it difficult to navigate and work out what to select.
The outdoor bar staff were friendly and helpful but the reception staff less so - quite brusque and not very helpful in terms of things to do in the area...
Hotel was nice with plenty of amenities, but not really within walking distance to any shops or restaurants. It’s about a 10 minute cab ride to old down town Chania. If you’re looking for a place with multiple pools and plenty of areas to hang out, look no more. We had the room with our a semi private pool as soon as you walked out the back door. Poor customer service and breakfast
Me and my mum stayed here for a week. The hotel is excellent. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable, the food and drinks available on the all inclusive option are varied and of good quality. Had a great honeymoon stay at the resort. They treated us well and we had an amazing upgraded room. The hotel is very nice and the all inclusive option is nice. Their drinks are good and the food isn’t bad. Good place to stay even if you don’t do all inclusive since the location and beach is nice. Good food options nearby and obviously in Chania. We didn’t care for the spa, and probably would not recommend...
The absolute dreamiest resort! The location (right on the beach, walking distance to amenities & a short bus ride to the old town), the food (we went half board and could choose if we had lunch or dinner, a wide array of food), the pools (bars at both and some brilliant DJs at the beach bar each day, particularly enjoyed having cocktails in the lagoon pool!), the staff (always super friendly and accommodating...
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Atlantica Kalliston in Crete. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with how clean and well-maintained everything was. The entire property is spotless, and you can tell the staff takes real pride in keeping it that way.

Excellent room and service . Expensive drinks . Sunday DJ on a bit of an ego trip and excessively loud , noise cancelling headphones probably wouldn’t solve the problem . If I’d booked a room around the pool I’d have been complaining rather more - he needs to be brought into line
The Myrion Beach Resort really is very special, the service, decor, ambience, hotel grounds are all exceptional. On our arrival we were greeted by charming members of staff, in fact everyone working at this hotel were friendly and very hard working. They were always happy to see us and are a huge asset to the hotel. We were only booked in as B&B however the first night we had our evening meal in the...
Beautiful relaxing hotel. From the minute you arrive your given a special welcome. Rooms are well equipped, modern and spotless, as is everywhere in the hotel and all the grounds. Superb resort and great hospitality. A real pleasure and enjoyment! Also within easy reach of national roads to explore by car beautiful Crete.
From the moment we checked in it was brilliant , we were offered water / Prosecco while also being given a quick tour of the hotel while our bags were loaded onto a golf buggy to be transferred to our room . Solimar Aquamarine Resort
Gerani, Gerani 🧭 Map
Me and my bestfriend have just spent two weeks at Solimar Aquamarine. We booked a double room with private pool and we loved it! Every summer we book a girls trip and travel for two weeks together. This has to be the two most relaxing weeks we have had. As mentioned we had a room with private pool so we did not use the shared pool area at the hotel, but we did notice that it is not that big. Our stay...
Stayed in a superior suite with private pool & full sea view (room 126) last week of September. Think there are 9 rooms in this category. Our suite was ginormous with huge living area with sofa beds, a separate bedroom with sofa, spacious bathroom including a separate shower room & a separate bath with shower over. Great for families. Bed was huge & super comfy. Lots of storage & surfaces for your...
Typical all-inclusive resort… average food, pool too cold, basic service, too far from everything (far from the beach, far from Chania). The room is clean and well equipped. 1F ‘garden’ rooms feel a bit like a basement.
I recommend that you make a reservation for a vacation and enjoy the food and the environment with your family. The hotel staff are very friendly and polite, the food is very tasty and varied, and very clean, clean rooms with the best service.
We booked a private pool room. It was ready an hour early for us, we paid €80 for a late check out until 6pm on last day and was able to have dinner before leaving for the airport. Totally worth it. My daughter and I have just spent a week at the Asterion. We thought that the facilities and the food were excellent, although it is the staff who make this a fantastic place to stay. As someone with mobility problems, I valued the accessibility of the hotel and its grounds,...
A great place to relax for young and older couples without children, as it is an adults-only hotel. Ideal for those looking for peace, minimalist and beautifully decorated accommodation (Scandinavian or boho style with Mediterranean and Greek elements). It is not a busy tourist spot, which is an advantage. There are several great restaurants nearby, a promenade suitable for jogging. The city of Chania...
A 5* Hotel Resort that definitely lives up to its rating. The customer service is outstanding across all aspects of the hotel. We wanted a relaxing stay and this did not disappoint. The restaurant is first class with creative dishes every day. If you are looking for a boutique 5* Hotel for a relaxing stay then you need look no further. We hope to return soon.
We had a wonderful holiday in Crete – this time on the western side of the island, as we really wanted to visit the Samaria Gorge and Elafonissi Beach. This hotel is beautiful. The staff are the nicest people and so friendly. The breakfast is over and above anywhere I have been.
If you are lucky enough to come to Chania this is definitely the hotel to stay at.
This property has ruined it for all the other hotels! Best service, the staff is beyond friendly and helpful!! You feel completely spoiled! The room was beautiful! No matter the room size, facilities or hotel service, they are all excellent
This is the worst hotel in Greece from Athens all the way to Heraklion in Crete to Chania.
If you were in a three-star hotel for 1,000 a night, I would think you were pretty good, but if you said that you were in a five-star hotel for 2,400 a night, I would find it ridiculous.
It was already noon when we arrived in Chania. I was really looking forward to checking into the most expensive hotel on this...
The first thing we did during our stay was a little unpleasant, but our Ctrip butler Jin Lei followed up and solved the problem. Thank you very much! Georgia, the front desk clerk at the hotel, also gave us a lot of help and warm service. This vacation ended successfully. Hilton is a good choice.

We made a last-minute change to spend six days in Chania and were fortunate to secure a one-night stay at Casa Delfino. Though brief, it was unforgettable.

What a lovely, unique hotel! My husband and I came to Crete for my 30th birthday and spent several days at Casa Delfino. We had a wonderful experience—the hotel is storied and beautifully maintained, the staff were kind and attentive, and the location was exactly what we wanted—in the heart of Old Town Chania, but on a very quiet and quaint street. We stayed in Room 9, which we learned belonged to...
Casa Delfino was such a pleasant stay for my family and I. It’s a quaint and Tuscan style boutique hotel that feels tailored to each individual guest. The free breakfast is made fresh every morning, and there’s lots of variety to choose from. The owner, Margarita, is a 6th generation descendant of the Delfino family, which makes the story of this hotel even more charming. 10/10 would highly recommend
Beautiful rooms and location. The hotel is slightly uphill on a pedestrian-only walkway, but we were met with a golf cart who took our baggage and brought us to the hotel. Absolutely wonderful establishment. Exceptionally kind and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms and the location is perfect. The rooftop bar has an amazing view of the harbor. Casa Delfino exceeded our expectations.
The Hotel staff was very attentive to our needs and wishes. They were always ready to answer any questions. Nikos (and others that I could not refer their names) were always very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel more like guests in someone's home than just customers. I cannot praise this hotel enough, no matter how many words I include in my review. Serenissima was a beautiful, perfect choice for our two-day stay in Chania. The property is gorgeous, the rooms are very clean, and breakfast is so delicious + set in a stunning dining room. Most of all, 10/10 service -- we were the tourists who didn't know we had to park a few blocks away and carry all our luggage to the hotel (because a lot of the area is walking only). Carolina helped us not only...
A pleasant surprise coming into the hotel out of the crowded alleyway. The building is beautiful. There were only a couple plug ins in the European style which was a slight downside. The room was large with two balconies, quiet and rustic but beautiful. The only negative was the bed was not comfortable. The location is perfect! Breakfast was tasty!
I travel regularly for work so when I take vacations, I'm selective about where I stay. The Serenissimia Boutique Hotel is a beautiful residence with an excellent location - calm and quiet but only a short walk along the winding streets to restaurants and shops. Great hotel in the heart of Chania Old port.
