What an amazing resort! We have been travelling around Europe for the past 7 weeks and this was our final stop. It was the perfect way to end our vacation. Great place to relax. Everything is on site making it perfect for those who are willing just to chill: there's a shop, a pool, sauna and SPA. Dishes at the restaurant are diverse, with cuisines from all over the world, and they are all delicious. Service is fantastic. The hotel is not too crowded, which I liked very much.

We were half board and would not book as half board again,breakfast is good with wide variety of options however dinner was a total disaster. Of the 10 nights we only had dinner twice in the hotel as the food was not of a good standard, this added extra costs to our holiday as we had to pay for dinner elsewhere. Nice hotel in Platanias, very close to the beach. Friendly staff. The restaurant is next to the beach, you can also overlook the Playground for the kids. There is a great "greek night" with dinner and show once a week. Don't miss that. Cons: The beds are a bit to hard for me, as I could feel the springs into my skinny back.

The food at Domes Chania was excellent for all meals, but Dinner was outstanding. The wines list was comprehensive with some superb local and Greek wines, backed up by knowledgeable staff who knew what they were talking about and always had a recommendation. Nice place with half-pension. The pool is VERY cold. It's a 15 minute walk from the beaches and a beach volley-complex. It's a good distance from the city center. If you go here, definitely rent or bring a bike :).

A variety of lovely clean pools. Rooms were spacious and clean with two separate sofa beds for our two children. Big variety of food available at each meal and from the daytime snack bar.

It can’t get any better than this. Rooms are perfect, with central air (not common in Greece), very clean. The pool is amazing. Across the street there is a park, and 2’ walking from there, you’ll find a nice beach. There is also a bus stop right outside the property. The staff is so nice! This place is worth every penny.
