Our first impression of Porto platanias is that it is a lower mid-tier family resort. While the inclusions of play parks, multiple pools, baby beds and a daycare are nice considerations they do not overcome the multiple shortcomings we have noticed in our first few hours here. Platannias Ariston is one of the best charter hotels we have stayed in. We visited the hotel 2 years ago, and we had to come back. This is a small hotel with only 14 rooms. This is a great and clean hotel complex. We didn't do the all inclusive although the breakfast buffett covered all bases. The swimming pools offer variety and the beach is fantastic to visit around 4pm/5pm when it is a little cooler. The staff who cleaned are room were amazing and very friendly.

A solid 4 star hotel by virtue of their friendly and hardworking staff. I stayed in a suite at this resort hotel over 10 days. The hotel has most of the facilities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The bed not too comfortable and the shower is quite weak and their old water tank still gives hot and cold water cycles. So your shower will constantly turn hot and cold which is pretty annoying...

Nice hotel in Platanias, very close to the beach. Friendly staff. The restaurant is next to the beach, you can also overlook the Playground for the kids. We have visited Blue Dome many times. In May 2024 we had one of the new renovated rooms. The rooms had been renovated in a very restrained and elegant way. Every detail and color was carefully considered. The new air conditioners were of high quality, silent and well working.

We had a nice spacey room with sea view. We stayed there for one night, which was quite expensive, but for a family with kids this is definitely a place to visit. Very good bathroom and shower and good quality beds.
