If you want traditional Greece this is it. Functional not flash. Met so many people who have been coming here for years. Small pool and bar which was perfect for the small family run hotel. Paid extra for air-conditioning but worth it as so hot this week.

This was my second year at the Lato Hotel Arriving in the early hours of the morning, the night manager hugged me. It really did feel as if I had never left. I cannot add much more to last year's review really. As a female solo traveller, it is essential to feel safe and I do at the Lato! Thank you to all the staff there who work so hard (especially the chambermaids) for another work so hard!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. We got a room with a lovely view. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great too. Walking distance to everywhere in town and overall a great relaxing stay. There is a roof terrace that perhaps needs a bar but am not complaining. Would stay again for sure.

Very nice family hotel. Very, very clean and lovely people. Close to the beach and only 15 minutes walk to the center. Have visit lot of hotels in this place, but this one is tehe best. For sure we will come back. Breakfast is very nice, not to much.

What not to say about this little Gem of a hotel. Family run, quaint place to relax and unwind. Breakfast only, but wow those lovely ladies make the best jams, honey, and cakes. Beautiful selection of fresh meat n fruits, choice of eggs. All to eat on the Beautiful patios. Rooms are very nice and clean. And serviced every day. Pool is small, but very adequate and you're never without a sun lounger...

Good hotel, hospitable hostess Marina. To the beach 5 minutes walk, to the center 10 minutes, near Vasilopoulos supermarket, taverns and shops. The room has air conditioning, TV, small refrigerator, kettle, Wi-Fi works great. In its category, probably the best choice in Agios Nikolaos.

The location of the hotel is good, 5-10 minutes to the beach. The hotel itself is quite modest, 2 stars after all, but everything you need is there: fan, TV, kettle, refrigerator, shampoo, hair conditioner and cooling conditioner. A good hotel for an economical holiday. Nearby are several supermarkets, a bus stop, a cafe for every taste; the beach is nearby too. The room has air conditioning, TV, refrigerator, kitchenette (electric kettle, electric stove). I want to say good words about Marina at the reception - very friendly, ready to help on any issue. I am satisfied with the hotel and would like to return.

Family-run hotel, 5/10 minutes walk from the center with a supermarket nearby. The lady is very kind and helpful. Only problem is that it's on a roundabout so it's a bit noisy. But if you get a double exposure room there's a fabulous current. Very nice place near supermarket and city center. The only problem is a bit noisy because of the traffic. Hotel ok but nothing more. Convenient location for going out at night, but difficult to park next door. Breakfast with industrial foods, it's a shame. Shower room very small.

Nice small and clean hotel. Don't expect too much for that price. Its 10 steps to the beach and restaurants. They have an elevator to the floors but in entrance you have to take like 10 stairs without help. We are happy here. Would recommend for that price. Friendly stuff.

Pleasant, quiet and inexpensive hotel. Good restaurant, cafe and beach within 2 mins walk. Be aware that there are several steps up to the main entrance from the pavement.

The location of El Greco Hotel is great. It's worth taking a room with a sea view, otherwise you end up seeing a hole-like courtyard, which, however, has plants. The additional charge for air conditioning is a rather salty 8eur/day/person, and the power of the air conditioning leaves much to be desired. The facilities are a bit shabby but clean. A cleaner visited the room every day. You can eat well...

we loved this hotel! ok, the room could have been bigger, the shower could have been better, but the view from the balcony and the absolutely lovely staff made us forget these little flaws. The location of the hotel is 10+. Recommend to book seaview room👍

Positive : Overall a good place to stay, clean and quiet. Furniture and decor a bit tired. Only one pillow per person. Bed mattress also far too hard. Good AC, balcony also quite spacious. Negative: Only 2 glasses, 2 mugs and 2 tea spoon. Zero possibility when I requested a plate to enjoy a fruit, no ice, no shower facilities for evening check out, no AC at the reception area. Not a nice experience...

Fantastic location, 5 star view, large room with kitchenette, very clean, large balcony, exceptional value. Bernadette and her (family) staff were very engaging and super helpful. Highly recommend. Friendly, quiet and very clean apartment/hotel We wanted a one night stay in a quiet location but near the harbour. This apartment hotel was perfect for our needs. This was a lovely place. The room was incredible, it was so large with a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our welcome was warm and friendly, and enjoyed sharing stories with the marvellous French-Canadian owner.

Affordable hotel located on a quiet side of the town still a short walking distance from centre. Beach and restaurants just a step away from main door. Clean room,bed was acceptable.Breakfast OK with scrambled eggs and bacon. The elevator and bathroom are quite small so "body positive" persons might have difficulties.

This hotel must have done some recent upgrades as room 401 had a fridge, stove sink, big shower, new floors, comfortable bed, no issues with cold/hot water, large patio and even a washing machine for clothes. All of this and it was the most affordable price in the area I 100% would recommend staying at this hotel! The owner was also lovely and helpful.

Micheal was a wonderful host and Maria an amazing housekeeper. They made us feel like home! They both deserve a 10. The appartement itself really needs renovation. Lot of stuff are outdated or even slightly broke/damaged. Also the beds to sleep in aren't comfortable. With the help of Maria we fixed that for a couple of days but everything can use a upgrade. If that will do by the owners than the appartements...

Its an old building falling apart here and there. Found it to be clean, neat and cheap. Wish they would top up on the kitchen utensils, kettle enough plates etc. for 4 people as it can sleep 4 and they do advertise as selfcatering. The manager I found totally over bearing and he smelled of alcohol.

Big studios with kitchen well equiped and bug enough bathroom. It is emplaced in aconvenient distance by Agios Nikolaos (3 km) and Elounda (10 min by car). There is a nice beach nearby at about 5-7 min walking. It has a beautiful view to the see and the personal is very friendly and kind.

Nice place, no issue of parking. Placed on a very nice beach with restaurants and sea activities. Since it is an apartments place - there is also a supermarket in a walking distance. The apartment itself is simple, double bed and a couch that can be opened to bed. WIFI not good. No breakfast but there is a tavern in the building with good food and service. The place itself has no points of interest...

The hotel was full upon our arrival, despite our reservation. It's hard to rate it! We were relocated to a luxury apartment right in the center... All's well that ends well...

Excellent This hotel is magic. We stayed an extra night because it was so great. Our room was spacious and had everything of an apartment right on the water. Close to town, restaurants and shops. Staff were fantastic can’t rate this highly enough, wished we could have stayed longer.

Called in for a sundowner after a hard day on the beach! Ice cold beer, fantastic spot overlooking the ocean. Reasonable prices. Our last round never came so we asked for the bill and went. Food is also served but we didn’t try any. Adjacent to Ammoudi beach.
