This was my fifth visit to the Blue Palace and my first under the new regime - Phaea. The service was over the top incredible. The concierge is perhaps the best and most responsive team I’ve ever dealt with. The property is much smaller since they are renovating the entire other side. Only suggestion is to update the beach chairs and accommodations and the pool needs more sun umbrellas for shade....

Oh, Elounda, what an amazing way to end our Crete trip. Check-in went smoothly, we got a corner room with a private pool. Although it’s heated, it felt kind of cold at night. Stunning hotel in a lovely location. Staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast is fantastic. All the restaurants offer delicious food and wonderful service. Plaka is less than a five minute walk and while small has restaurants, coffee shops and some lovely gift shops.

What a beautiful hotel! Adults only, perfect to rest and for fun, activities, pools, great food, especially the buffet. The only thing I thought can be improved is that the sea can be a little bit more clean.. but in general it was a great experience.

Amazing hotel - the bungalow with sharing pool was fantastic, had a great sea view and was very nicely decorated! We had a warm welcome and staff were all great. Would definitely return here if back in Crete! Couple improvements/things to note are that the water in the pools was considerably colder than the sea or the main pools and this was the first time I was charged for water in a 5*.

Wonderful rooms, excellent food in a 5 star hotel. Expectations were justified. Generous offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner at different locations. The wellness could have been a bit more professional for the price. Definitely with a rental car.

Situated on the fabulous Elouda bay, clear water, secluded beaches. In proximity to good restaurants in Elounda and Agios. The facility and service is superb. Kind and helpful staff, to mention the dining hall staff, especially the waitress Georgia .

Be careful, if you have a half board package you only have access to the buffet restaurant. We misunderstood the explanations about the system (number of courses in or not included) regarding the other restaurants, à la carte. We had dinner in one of them, 3 courses and a bottle of wine, fine but not exceptional, 182 € thank you very much, with 50€ deductible for the HB package. Does not feel right...

This hotel is casual and that’s good but When we where here our neighbors were drinking vodka whiskey and smoking so we couldn’t swim in our private pool the service is not good and the rooms are small but the beaches and spa are normal

A superb hotel, from the Elounda collection of Maré, Porto and Peninsula. Manolis, the manager and his super friendly team always make us feel great, on arrival and while we stay. The beach area, the restaurants, the attention to all details, are all first class! A unique experience, from first to last minute.

Stayed in the Presidential 1 bedroom villa for 3 nights ! Amazing time .. we took a helicopter from Mykonos so we were able to land right at the resorts helipad . They had a large wedding the day we checked in, the music -was very loud and lasted until 12:10 am the party lasted until well after 1: 30 am. It is definitely one of the most beautiful hotel in the entire world. The view is just amazing and the hotel is superb. The spa is great and you have and exceptional view of the sea from the restaurant . There is also a huge golf course and a lot of activities like jet ski and boat trip. The perfect place to relax and feel Cretan hospitality. The hotel is amazing, they offer sea view and private pools for all rooms. The crew makes you feel as a guest and not as a customer. Actually, this is just one of the hotels in the entire complex. Unfortunately, guests from the other hotels can use the pool and have the communal breakfast, which can be a bit confusing and noisy. Overall, the hotel could use some renovation; you can feel the passage of time in the rooms. The service is very good, and the view is superb. The pool is inviting for activities but less so for relaxation...

this hotel is very average. The views are amazing. Sophie accommodations are not if you like being at the pool or by the ocean the umbrellas are extinct I love being outside, but I don’t like full sun exposure. Just got back from a relaxing week staying at Elounda Golf Villas. The villa itself was very nice. Spread over 3 floors, the upstairs was the main living area with a small kitchen and lounge with sliding doors to the pool area. This is a beautiful boutique hotel which ha been recently refurbished to a very high standard. The staff and the food is excellent. The Sushil restaurant serves some great dishes. Great value for money but make sure you book a sea view room. The others are not so great in size and views. Definitely a high recommend.

A lovely two-week stay. More staff are needed; it often felt understaffed at the hotel. And, more training about food allergies would improve (requests were often ignored or overlooked). The rooms are excellent, but in-room amenities should be more standardized across all room types (the deluxe rooms get more soap/shampoo than superior rooms, plus get daily free water while superior rooms do not).

I stayed in the hotel for a week with my partner. Nice location, not too long walk the beach and the centre. Loved the breakfasts and the diners, loads of different choice to pick from. Only disappointment was the view in our room, it looked absolutley horrible, not how we imagined. Pray to get a room to the front side.

Great to get back to one of our favourite hotels. Stayed in plusher hotels many times before but there is something about this place that keeps calling us back . Ideal location quiet but only a short walk from the town and harbour where most of the wonderful tavernas are. The staff are the jewel in the crown , so friendly and accommodating. Good hotel with nice views of the ocean. Hotel is in a quiet location between Elounda and Plaka. Bed was comfortable. Good shower with lots of pressure. Breakfast was nice with lots of options. Hotel has two decent pools Rooms a little outdated. No hairdryer in the room. No bug mesh on any of the windows so had a a couple of bugs in the room. Needs some small improvements but good for a couple of nights
