In addition to the people, the location of the Mirabello Bay Resort adds to the incredible experience - it is truly a beautiful hotel with fantastic views across the bay and the most magical sunrises

Just back from a few days here, it was a great trip, before we arrived I reached out to the hotel as had a few questions, Matthew kindly answered them and was very helpful

You truly feel they all aim to create the best guest experience and prioritise taking care of their guests

Upon arrival we were shown to our suite, the hotel had gone above and beyond with providing champagne, chocolate cake and towel swans with fresh flowers laid out for us

Desserts were brilliant always a large selection, snacks available in various locations around the resort. Drinks were branded and tasted great from cocktails to spirits, you name it they had it or would make it for you

There is a shop on site and also over the road which was handy, the only downside but nothing the resort can do about it is the transfer from airport took 2 hours which was long after a days travel

Thalia for the excellent hospitality she offered us all the days we visited the restaurant!! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a unique vacation alone or with their family!

Very nice hotel! The food is delicious but a little salty! The breakfast that Mrs. Thalia made us was excellent! The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff is very helpful

Hotel is perfectly located on the beach and 10 minute walk to town. Room was very comfortable with great views. Had half board and food was very good. Plenty to choose from good variety

The rooms are, like the hotel, clean, modern and nicely furnished with all that you need including an excellent high pressure hot shower system

There are two large pools (and a smaller one) with plenty of sunbeds and parasols; also nice shady areas for those wishing to avoid the sun. The indoor/outdoor restaurant is set around the pool with a lovely aspect

Let’s start of with the room, we stayed in one of the villas in the resort, situated on the end of the cove away from the restaurants and main reception area, which I rather enjoyed as we were away from the hustle and bustle of the bars and night entertainment

The resort has a brilliant kids club which my son loved going to. The food at breakfast and dinner was 5 star such a great variety and all to a very high standard. The early dining system for children was brilliant

Daios cove, or as I may say a cove of dreams. My family and I stayed here during the end of July to early August and this resort is absolutely exceptional

The room service was on another level, this is by far the best room service I have ever had in a hotel, there is a vast menu with a wide range of different food and desserts, from ramen to rice there is anything you could ever wish for

The views of the cove are absolutely phenomenal and the sea is pristine and clear. Without a doubt, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in, in Greece

Next the pool, the pool itself is beautiful and cold (in a good way) however there is a huge issue with getting sunbeds by the pool

Xarouli was the best co ordinator in order to satisfy all our needs! all the guests were extremely satisfied! a place to visit in the centre of Agios Nikolaos! do not miss it! many thanks for everything, especially for your smile and for your positive attitude! S

Well located not far from the marina and the city center, this hotel seems to be surviving. The rooms are clean and the bedding is comfortable. In the bathroom, a tiny bathtub doubles as a shower

The hotel is in a perfect location, within walking distance to the city of Agios Nikolaos and a number of beaches. It is situated in a quiet location but also very central

There is a municipal parking 1 min from the hotel with reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the buffet breakfast with very big variety and good quality of products

A real scandal, impossible to take a shower, the shower head is in the bathtub and the bathtub is very small. 53m tall and weigh 65kg, impossible to turn around without flooding everything

Quiet atmosphere with the feeling of mindfulness. Lovely and attentive staff with a special touch. Very good service in every way. Good location with a short walk to the town which has nice restaurants

overall the staff is perfect,smiling all the time giving their best. the art pieces are also interesting

The grounds are superb and so picturesque! To walk around, it’s one of the best I’ve seen

What do am I loving about this property… It’s simple elegance clean crisp yet set more like a traditional village than a hotel. The space beautiful grounds established shrubs so well kept

We had lovely time we love the architecture the design of the room 25. we just would like to mention that there is no space to hang out clothes. and a more comfortable chair will be nice

We are luxury world travelers with top hotel status in Marriott and other luxury hotel chains. This hotel stands above the rest. Atmosphere, rooms, delicious food etc

Hotel reception also recommended good day trips to local olive groves, spinalonga day trips and to the town of Kritsa to explore…all well worth doing

Fish were everywhere! The team was so helpful in planning catamaran trips as well as local excursions. And the resort food was so delicious. We are already missing that breakfast buffet! We cannot wait to return!

We especially enjoyed the sheltered cove for swimming and snorkelling. Children spent all of their time in the sea, rather than the pools as felt so safe in the sea. Loved the jetty bar for an after dinner drink

This resort is absolutely magical! The views! The pools! The stellar service! We stayed in the Grand Animos Villa and it was absolutely perfect

I’m not your normal busybody who leaves reviews for anything I am however exceptionally fussy and this by far is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in having visited many hundreds of hotels over the last 40 years the room the staff the food everything was superb and the location is fantastic

I like this hotel very much. Although it is far away from the core area, the scenery of the hotel is really good, and the hotel staff are very enthusiastic and the service is very good.

Wonderful stay! Not far from the city center, the pools are nice and the staffs are friendly. Breakfast was so good and they even have live musician playing for dinner

Amazing, would definitely recommend to others! Bus station is just ten minutes away from the hotel. Very easy to get here from Agios Nikolaos station. Loved every single second of my stay!

A bit tough to get here with a car though, neither Google maps and Waze couldn’t give a good route to the hotel street. We arrived with a different route every day

The hotel is in a good location in Agios Nikolaos. Shopping, restaurants and cafes are all around the corner

Parking is also a bit problematic if you arrive after 5 pm. Hotel itself - breakfast was nice with good bacon, eggs and some different food every day. Fruits and Greek joghurt were our favourite

We have double sea view room on the 7-th floor, over the pull and the bar, but it turns out that it can be quite noise at night. If you want more quite room you should mention your preference

A great place to rest for the second consecutive year, wonderful varied cuisine, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, close to two beaches: pebble and sand, salt water pool, near the pedestrian streets, the Bay of Mirabello is always relatively quiet

We booked for 7 nights in this hotel in Agios Nikolaos. The location is perfect by the sea coast, there is lovely blue flag beach right next to the hotel

and the views were perfect! The staff at the hotel was very kind and I want to mention especially Marina from the guest relations team, as she helped to organise a wedding proposal in the best spot of the hotel with views to the Mirabello bay! She also helped getting a photographer to record thus memorable moment! I cannot thanks her enough for all she did for us! We had an unforgettable evening I...

Only good things to say, thank you, especially for our welcome on arrival

I loved our room and our shared pool, however our room was left to the reception area and the pool bar- some nights music was extremely loud and guest were extremely loud (if I wanted party vacation I would go to Mallorca/Ibiza) A door that keeps some noise away from that corridor would be good

The size of the hotel is perfect, not so many people and you feel that you have your space. It is an adult only hotel and very calm. The food (breakfast and dinner) is very nice (buffet)

We’ve spent our honeymoon in Minos. We had junior suite with private pool, waking up every morning to a sunrise😍 hotel has impressive views from basically anywhere you stand

The renovated rooms are fabulous (be sure to book a renovated one, because the old ones are not nice. I was told that they will renovate all rooms in the future)

Really helpful service, great food all week, nice drinks, including cocktails, and the two a la carte restaurants were incredible - by any comparison they were brilliant, and easily the best you'll ever find at an all-inclusive resort

First off it's not 5stars it's a 4 star hotel go with this in mind and you'll be fine. Food in the Italian restaurant was great. Food in the buffet restaurant was excellent even for a fussy eater always some thing to eat

12 euro taxi each way to the town or the bus 10 past the hour outside the hotel 2 euros each way. Hotel perfect where it is no noise at night

Don't plan to stay by the pool as you have to get up by 6 am to put your towel out 😱. Went to the beach every day which is excellent on the left hand side

Has its own beach, spa and multiple pools. Room was really big with an amazing view. People are super friendly, very good service. Buffet was really yummy and many options. Overall really good, definitely recommend

All went very smooth from the beginning to the last minute. Very good variety of food and drinks. Sea view family room with amazing views. There are no queues for the drinks and food even hotel is fully booked

Good breakfast and clean rooms. However no atmosphere whatsoever. Evening meal terrible and expensive. No music or entertainment in evening. Says bus stop outside but no buses directly into Agios Nic

Small beach but not nice for swimming. Got the impression hotel was nearer to the town but too far to walk for older people. Most of the staff lovely but some not at all helpful. Shame because it is a lovely spot

Take care when booking as we booked and paid for superior rooms which we did not get (apparently due to an EasyJet error but we spoke with another couple who had the same issue and had booked with another agent) and nothing was done by the hotel to rectify

Breakfast was good and bar and restaurant staff efficient and friendly. The pool bar closes at 6pm and music goes off and shutters down which is a shame when people are enjoying an early drink

The storage was poor so we lived out of our cases and were woken through the night by loud air con fans (external not ours) and I heard others complaining of the same issues

2 lovely beach front restaurants 10 mins away at Amoudi Beach. Town about a further 20 mins. Had a wonderful holiday and would definitely return. So long as it remains adults only!!

This is an excellent 3* hotel with a very relaxed atmosphere. The bedding towels changed everyday. The rooms are perfect ,clean and Greek. The food was very good and something for everyone

The location couldn't be any better, 1 min marina beach and excellent walks around the peninsula from Marina to the port and lake this way is a flat surface to walk it

First the negatives, the single room I was in was clean, but in need of a general update; there was also a safety issue where the gap between the end of the bed and the wall where the TV was fixed, was so narrow that you had to crane your neck to avoid a collision

The hotel staff are one big family and brilliant, the room staff really work hard to keep everyone happy, restaurant staff very attentive and quick tockear and clean, 24 hkur reception very experienced, I even experienced Greek dancing with the manager

The town is quite hilly in parts, but lovely, and a pleasure to walk round and explore. The food, though repetitive at times, was better than I’ve experienced in four and five star all inclusives in other countries

Again, as per previous reviews, the staff are the real asset; they’re all incredibly pleasant and polite, and helpful should you need it. They will also happily share knowledge of the area, places to go etc

Often the food was already gone by the time I went for breakfast, even though the breakfast time was not even close to full. At dinner you could order from the menu and the food was mostly good and delicious

Blu Acqua Hteol offers easy access to an a la carte restaurant, a fresh sea water swimming pool, a mini market, a lounge bar, with a pool bar and outstanding views

I had a wonderful end-of-summer holiday in Crete in beautiful Agios Nikolaos. The Blu Acqua hotel was a bit out of the way in terms of services, but on the other hand it was in a beautiful location on Almiros beach

I was travelling alone and got a really great single room on the top floor of the hotel! I had a roof terrace bigger than my room with great views! If you are travelling alone, you should ask for that room! I had booked half board and the breakfast was ok, but not very special

We were very pleasantly surprised by this small 3-star hotel, which is well worth the French standard

From the moment we entered the hotel until we checked out, we were made to feel very welcome guests. We had a room on the 3rd floor with our own very private balcony , sun loungers and jacuzzi!! It was amazing

I have been staying at the hotel for the past 6 years, and in the last two years, its standards have shown a slight decline. The rooms are a good size and are decently furnished

The room was beautifully appointed. The shower creme and shampoo were baby powder scented ! So lovely. We had a very nice continental breakfast for a very reasonable €7 ! Hotel is perfectly situated

In a country of lots of fresh fruit, the only fruit options were tinned peaches or fresh apples. The hotel is clean but the room cleaning isn't daily as it has been in the past. Small details are overlooked at times

Amazing views from the rooms and great host (George). We loved the pool and the relaxed atmosphere. The only thing we didn’t love was the breakfast, a bit basic. The rest was good.

Stunning view over the sea, absolutely friendly owners, new bathroom, nice breakfast with fresh fruit and a great starting point to explore places like Agios Nikolaos and Elounda.

The host "George" is a legend, nothing was to much and he was easy to talk to, very knowledgeable about things to do and always happy to help

Stayed for 5 nights - Hotel is perfect for the price the views from the rooms and pool are spectacular

I think they should reprogram them right away because it woke me up at 2, 5 and 8 AM The staff is perfect. Super friendly they gonna help you with anything you need. It's easy to park and the whole place is beautiful

All in all this is a really excellent laid back family hotel, particularly for families with younger kids who prefer a quieter more relaxed vibe (entertainment was nicely low key for us)

if you want a peaceful pint then it's perfect, the poolbar is open late so it's lovely sitting looking out to sea with a nightime drink listening to the waves, vicky and doxa at the bars are amazing cheerful and friendly and make your time there enjoyable, they are lovely ladies and I have never met nicer people, the beach is so beautiful and so easy getting in the sea for a swim as they have taken...

There was a different vibe in June than August as it was not the usual school holidays so the hotel was mainly occupied by families with pre school children this meant our children didn’t meet many children their own age

The food at the taverna was great, the octopus, calamari and suflaki were our favourites along with the Greek salad and homemade bread. The wine menu was very good (we would recommend the nautilus rose)

We had a ground floor apartment this time and my advice would be if you have older children and you get to sleep in a little later opt for a upstairs apartment as we had not lots of little stomping feet above us any time from 6am and a lot of time, crying in the night

The hotel has a lovely bar with great service. From the minute I arrived they really took care of me - bar lady bringing me a drink upstairs as she noticed I was hot and bothered

Nice touch! Receptionist lent me a charger for my phone overnight. Other bar lady got me towel for the beach. Chamber maid got me more milk. Nothing was too much trouble at all

Excellent hotel. Breakfasts are good. The views are super. The only thing is that there is no parking. But there is a free one nearby on the mountain or near the port.

Julie was amazing and helped us with any query’s as well as making the best Frappe! All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Beach towels can also be collected in the mornings which is a really lovely touch

George and family are very friendly and helpful. George showed me where an octopus was living near his pontoon with a little help from him to dive down to it
