Our second stay at Hotel Aggelos and we were not disappointed. Upgraded to a sea view room where we enjoyed watching the cruise ships arrive/depart. Hotel staff and family in this family run hotel cannot be faulted. Plenty of choice at breakfast which you can eat in the lovely breakfast room or on the terrace. Rooms cleaned twice a day and everything is spotless. I would not stay anywhere else in Argostoli. The hotel is at a quiet end of the city but within 5/10 minutes walking distance of the square and shops. Thank you for a lovely 3 night stay at the end of our Kefalonia holiday. Look forward to seeing you again.

We stayed here for 2 weeks from 10th June 2025. We booked a superior double room overlooking the sea, the view was amazing. We loved to watch the cruise ships and turtles. The hotel is immaculate and the staff are really nice and polite. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. We carried our breakfast up to the front of the hotel on a tray and it was a lovely start to the day. Our room was lovely and clean, with great air conditioning and a great shower. The room was cleaned twice a day and bed turned down for you. Amazing, well done Hotel Agellos.

We have stayed in the hotel before so had no difficulty in choosing to go again. In fact we had the same room overlooking the cruise pier and harbour. Good, spotless room with lovely balcony. Breakfast is downstairs - good variety of hot and cold food and pastries. We ate in a courtyard but you could have taken your breakfast upstairs to watch the scene.

Just got back from our week stay here, Absolutely loved this hotel and could not find fault anywhere, Friendly smiley staff always, Exceptional tasty help yourself breackfast with lots of choice, Stayed in room 403, fantastic view of the expensive yaughts in the harbour and for spotting turtles, I would highly recommend this hotel Tony & Diana South Yorkshire

Outstanding service. Clean and comfortable hotel with happy and helpful staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. Centrally located for the capital and waterfront. Shops and restaurants are within easy reach of the hotel and there is a plentiful supply of eating places that cater for all tastes and budgets.

Excellent hotel, thoroughly enjoyed staying here very pleasant and charming hotel with friendly staff and will help you if you need anything from local knowledge to services needed. The hotel is situated in a great location for walks into Argostoli and evening strolls along the channel front. The rooms are cleaned everyday and have lovely balconies to just sit and relax and read a good book. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices and would cater for everyone. I had a great time in Greece and would definitely book again to stay here.

The hotel was very well placed slightly out of the town with fantastic views across the water and mountains. We had requested a top floor seat view room - 402 which was small but had lovely views and was quiet. It’s a 5-10 walk to bars and restaurants and if you walk the other way there are nice places to swim. Breakfast was more than adequate with different things to choose from.

We love Hotel Aggelos, great location near Cruise pier and far enough out of town to be blissfully quiet but close enough to walk to all main eateries etc. lovely sea view from s just perfect. Our second year and will be booking next years very soon. Always a welcoming smile from the owners and staff. Room immaculately clean and basic high is all you need when you are on holiday. It’s lovely sitting on the terrace every morning for breakfast which is simple Greek style with coffee- Bliss!

Very polite and accommodating hosts. Always with a smile and a nice word. The hotel and the rooms are super clean . Rooms are a bit small , specially the bathroom ( always full of water after taking the shower). In my opinion the mattress is too hard. They gave me an upgrade ( from city view room to sea view) , thanks ! Breakfast ok ( from fresh fruits to sweets , yoghurt, … )

Stayed here twice before had a lovely stay however this time not so good. Toilet seat broken asked but not fixed, roof in our bedroom leaked. Air conditioning swing motion not working also reported. Seems very tired hotel now but still wants top money for it . Unfortunately we will not be returning. Hotel has beautiful views across the Ionian and kept very clean but that is about it . Sofia on reception was lovely though .
