Hotels with sea view in Argostoli

A little bit from outside but most from inside the hotel. The room doors are not very isolating and on top we had a connection door to the next room

We had two lovely nights at the Grand, we had a side room and on the top floor, very clean, great shower and very comfortable bed (10/10 for the pillows). Breakfast was excellent and drinks in the evening were perfect

This needs improvement especially because the room doors are closing very loud if you are not careful and also the guests and cleaning staff (who is doing a great job) creates noise

Yes the rooms are not very large and the balconies are small but in general I need the room for the night so I’m fine with the room size

Regarding the parking possibilities we always found a free lot in one of the roads nearby the hotel. Max walking distance we had was ~100m. The only downside we’ve seen or better heard is the noise

I don’t understand some of the bad ratings here. The location is perfect and the service of the hotel and restaurant is so lovely

Our second stay at Hotel Aggelos and we were not disappointed. Upgraded to a sea view room where we enjoyed watching the cruise ships arrive/depart. Hotel staff and family in this family run hotel cannot be faulted

We stayed here for 2 weeks from 10th June 2025. We booked a superior double room overlooking the sea, the view was amazing. We loved to watch the cruise ships and turtles

The hotel is at a quiet end of the city but within 5/10 minutes walking distance of the square and shops. Thank you for a lovely 3 night stay at the end of our Kefalonia holiday. Look forward to seeing you again

The hotel is immaculate and the staff are really nice and polite. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. We carried our breakfast up to the front of the hotel on a tray and it was a lovely start to the day

We have stayed in the hotel before so had no difficulty in choosing to go again. In fact we had the same room overlooking the cruise pier and harbour. Good, spotless room with lovely balcony

Pretty nice outdoor seating at an elegant garden for breakfast, the hospitality is great

Nice and quiet in the evening. You’ll need an eye mask for some of the rooms as the curtains are typical Greek style in that they allow a lot of light in. We didn’t have any trouble parking each day outside the hotel

The small kitchenette in our room was very convenient and having a fridge to store water was useful. A good value hotel for those on a budget. Aircon also very good in the room we stayed in

We stayed for a week, we really recommend peace. always very clean, white marble that stands out. even if the doors and furnishings are a little dated except for the new kitchenette

I also found clothes pegs, detergent and sponge for dishes since there is an equipped kitchenette, excellent location a stone's throw from the centre

to be reached on foot, the only drawback free parking which if you return late in the evening you can often find it in some side street

This is a 10 star hotel!! Everything was perfect. Petros and Costa at the front desk were absolutely amazing and so very helpful. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the service was impeccable

The rooms were clean, and spacious and are the breakfast was absolutely divine. Highly recommend for anyone traveling to Kefalonia and we can’t wait to come back!

They’re super attentive, friendly and welcoming, shoutout to Spiros & Costas for the daily laughs and for telling us about the hidden gems on the island! The breakfast is also phenomenal, an array of delicious breakfast treats, both hot and cold, and most days we were so full we didn’t need lunch! I loved that it was not a breakfast buffet either, which meant our cooked food was fresh and hadn’t been...

Stayed at The Alley on a work trip. Rooms clean, large and modern. The two staff at reception and the cleaner/lady managing the breakfast were all attentive, helpful, caring and excellent all around

Despite not being my usual aesthetic, I greatly enjoyed the ambience of the hotel and there is a calm garden with a plug socket which is perfect for getting work done

What I love most about this hotel is the gracious staff who know my name and how I like my coffee. They are very sweet to my pets and always greet me with a smile

We had a power outage on the whole island for one day and the staff went out of their way to find a solution for food. They really took care of the owner

Just stopped by for a chat with and coffee from the lovely Margarita, the cheerful friendly member of staff who got us some good coffee and yummy free cake! The hotel is across from the marina in Argostoli is a great place to watch the world go by

Pros: Great location, free parking on the street, comfortable beds, advanced gym (one machine and only dumbbell so you better know what you’re doing), balcony for laundry, decent breakfast included, rooftop bar / restaurant, and friendly staff

Lovely hotel and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We arrived very early and asked to leave our bags at hotel untill check in time. We were told our room was ready so we could just go on up and settle in

Hotel not quite as modern as some photos suggest. Maybe a bit small for longer, not enough room to have 2 cases open. Good sized terrace, full sum in the day. Breakfast ok, nothing special

Thanasis and her colleague at the front desk are the NICEST most helpful people we’ve met in Greece. Just for the exceptional service we received, not even being guests of the hotel, I would highly recommend this place

Rooms have a wonderful seaview balconies and ours had a table with two chairs and two loungers. The rooms are modern and have a luxury feel

They only charge 6 euro and can save you a headache if you’re arriving late or have a lot of baggage. We try to stay here everything we are in the city. And they are open in the off season!!

I stayed there with my girlfriend for two days. The location of the hotel is really convenient, in the center of Argostoli with various shops, restaurants and taverns nearby

The ideal place to stay in Argostoli. The suite is amazing, quiet, with great sea view, everything you need in a walking distance including lot of restaurants and supermarket

The hotel is right on a busy street, but the sound proof windows kept the room nice and quiet. Athina’s recommendations were great, and she and her colleague easily handled an issue that arose for us in renting a car

We spent five nights at The Twelve Suites and it did not disappoint. The location is excellent, Athina and all the other staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the rooms are comfortable and well stocked

The apartment is decorated in a modern style with lots of everyday comforts and conveniences. The location is amazing and the view from the balcony is stunning. Everything was super clean and felt just like home

This was an absolutely amazing place to spend our 5 days in kefalonia. Athena was more than accommodating, kind and helpful to us the entire time

Excellent Accomodation, Very clean rooms and Suberb host. I visited with my wife, 2 year old and 7 month old during peak season

Very clean, logical price, almost by the sea

On arrival the host thoughtfully gave as a Greek wine' as a gift as well as bottles of water. The host answered any questions we had during our stay and always checked on us to see how we were doing

You can also catch the bus, 5 mins walk away from the port to Lixouri which will take you to Lassi/Makris Gialos beach and the airport. I cannot rate this location and accommodation more highly

You are out the hustle and bustle of Argostoli, yet only a 10-15 mins scenic walk to central town down the embankment. There is also a highly rated Greek restaurant just round the corner

Your always going to get few niggles such as occasional low water pressure and the room could use a renovation however that's part of the Greek living experience

I was worried about not speaking Greek - they speak English as well as several other languages, and are happy to make recommendations and call cabs. The rooms are clean and bright and the swimming pool inviting

The room has the biggest bed we ve slept in !!!!!!! Room gets cleaned regularly, fresh towels put out. The sandy beach is walking distance but if you fancy staying in, the swimming pool is very clean and nice

Our stay was lovely because of the lovely family who run the place, Yannis, Violetta and their three daughters could not do enough for us. The apartment was spotless, great shower and a kitchen area

Our stay at Residence IONIAN St & Apts was marvellous. Giannis and Violetta are really welcoming and kind. Nothing is too much trouble in this fabulously situated, properly family run hotel

Excellent location with a wonderful sea view. The property was modernly decorated with new furniture and a large balcony where we could sit. There is daily cleaning and the cleaning staff were very kind

It's a beautiful sea view room. It would be better if the sofa bed was better. There should also be an induction cooker for cooking. But the view and convenience are unquestionable

It was a half hour walk into Argostoli, passing Fanari beach after ten minutes with its shallow sea and a good couple of eateries

I like the ambience, and natural beauty of this hotel. Well situated around walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. Brilliant choice in visiting Kefalonia. I will definitely be back in Sept next year

Staff super friendly and helpful! Helped us get tours around the island, tried their best to get us a car (even tho we didn't get one), helped us get ferry tickets, amazing service! nice rooms!

The other way was about 50 minutes to Lassi to some great restaurants, about €10 in a taxi. A superb hotel to be based at, a huge and varied breakfast and a pleasure to visit for a few days

Stunning location by the sea, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely modern bungalow.

The apartment was fantastic with a lovely balcony from which you could see the sea and watch the sunset in the evening

We enjoyed the clean and finely equipped comfortable room, the hide away terrace among gardens, explored many different small beaches in the neighbourhood, appreciated the main street with shops and restaurants and also walked few times to the main marina city Argostoli with its nightlife

Even gave us a lift to and from the airport. Liking cats is a must, several cats live here. The accommodation is clean, and perfect for the stay. The beach is only a few minutes walk away

Also there is a skooter rental close by we borrowed and explored farer places in Kefalonia and even visited Ithaca by a ferry. Thanks to Panagis, Theo and their mom, we felt very relaxed and happy

The Tzivras family were very friendly especially Panagis who did every thing he could to make your stay amazing, nothing is too much trouble for him. Will try to return in the future

There are a couple of short cuts you can take to shorten the walk to the beach that you can see from the back balcony. All in all it was a very positive experience

Views from the balconies were fabulous Staff were there to greet us and were very friendly and helpful Breakfast in the sister hotel was an added bonus

Just a 10-15 min walk down into argostoli but the roads are steep so be prepared for the way back or take a taxi for €6! Would definitely come back!

You either need a car or are happy walking up and down lots of hills though it’s only 15 minutes to walk down to the town or the nearest beach

We came when quiet but wouldn’t be enough sun loungers if full! Great location but you will need a car to explore and make the most of it

We loved it! The apartment was very nice with great views on both sides. The pool was nicer than we expected and is hardly used by guests
