Where to stay in Argostoli

The staff were so friendly with nothing too much trouble. The restaurant also offers a good selection. Hotel is of simplistic design. My only comment would be that there is a need for some maintenance to lift the standard.

Beautiful location. Unfortunately only stayed overnight as flight was delayed. Was welcomed to the hotel by receptionist Cassandra. Such a warm, friendly, helpful and wonderful young lady. I don’t understand some of the bad ratings here. The location is perfect and the service of the hotel and restaurant is so lovely. We really enjoyed our stay. Yes the rooms are not very large and the balconies are small but in general I need the room for the night so I’m fine with the room size. We had two lovely nights at the Grand, we had a side room and on the top floor, very clean, great shower and very comfortable bed (10/10 for the pillows). Breakfast was excellent and drinks in the evening were perfect. Excellent stay 😃

We just returned from a week stay at Kefalonia Grand and we loved our experience. The location is perfect, close to the centre whilst also being on the waterfront, rooms are cleaned daily and also have a good sized balcony however, the main asset to the hotel is definitely the staff. We have stayed in the hotel before so had no difficulty in choosing to go again. In fact we had the same room overlooking the cruise pier and harbour. Good, spotless room with lovely balcony. Breakfast is downstairs - good variety of hot and cold food and pastries. We ate in a courtyard but you could have taken your breakfast upstairs to watch the scene.

What I love most about this hotel is the gracious staff who know my name and how I like my coffee. They are very sweet to my pets and always greet me with a smile. Stayed at The Alley on a work trip. Rooms clean, large and modern. The two staff at reception and the cleaner/lady managing the breakfast were all attentive, helpful, caring and excellent all around. I totally recommend it! First of all, they upgraded our revervation without extra cost. The room view was wonderful, very clean with all the necessary amenities. The staff was very polite and eager to help us and provide us with info about the island. Fantastic location with a few footsteps to a beautiful calm beach with a very good snack bar. A really nice pool area, and very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Beds were, as is quite common, a bit too hard for our taste. Price to value gives a strong 4 in final rating.
