Not only was the hotel in prime location with wonderful art deco design and great Greek breakfast that kept one sustained during days of exploits but also a safe haven to retreat after late nights of zebeikko and ouzo

Who would have thought that one could totally fall in love with a place after barely spending a week in it? Not us but yet that was the feeling as we boarded the flight from Kefalonia to Stockholm

Nice hotel in Central Argostoli. Breakfast was simple and lovely and we were greeted every morning with Rosa's beautiful smile. Room was super and housekeeping staff did a great job

very nice hotel in great spot. I didn't like the mattress as it is soft and the electric circuit board was producing an annoying buzz in the night . other than that great view and nice hotel. breakfast is average.

Room was modern, clean and comfortable with all the facilities one would expect. Air conditioning quiet and worked well

Had a small balcony at the rear of the hotel which looked out onto restaurants and thoroughfare but excellent glazing on doors meant no intrusive noise

This is a 10 star hotel!! Everything was perfect. Petros and Costa at the front desk were absolutely amazing and so very helpful. The breakfast each morning was delicious and the service was impeccable

They’re super attentive, friendly and welcoming, shoutout to Spiros & Costas for the daily laughs and for telling us about the hidden gems on the island! The breakfast is also phenomenal, an array of delicious breakfast treats, both hot and cold, and most days we were so full we didn’t need lunch! The room has the biggest bed we ve slept in !!!!!!! Room gets cleaned regularly, fresh towels put out. The sandy beach is walking distance but if you fancy staying in, the swimming pool is very clean and nice

I was worried about not speaking Greek - they speak English as well as several other languages, and are happy to make recommendations and call cabs. The rooms are clean and bright and the swimming pool inviting

Our stay was lovely because of the lovely family who run the place, Yannis, Violetta and their three daughters could not do enough for us. The apartment was spotless, great shower and a kitchen area

Staff super friendly and helpful! Helped us get tours around the island, tried their best to get us a car (even tho we didn't get one), helped us get ferry tickets, amazing service! nice rooms!

The other way was about 50 minutes to Lassi to some great restaurants, about €10 in a taxi. A superb hotel to be based at, a huge and varied breakfast and a pleasure to visit for a few days

I like the ambience, and natural beauty of this hotel. Well situated around walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beach. Brilliant choice in visiting Kefalonia. I will definitely be back in Sept next year

It was a half hour walk into Argostoli, passing Fanari beach after ten minutes with its shallow sea and a good couple of eateries

There are a couple of short cuts you can take to shorten the walk to the beach that you can see from the back balcony. All in all it was a very positive experience

Just a 10-15 min walk down into argostoli but the roads are steep so be prepared for the way back or take a taxi for €6! Would definitely come back!

Personally I had a perfectly nice big house with everything in a quiet place that is a must for a family with children.

Large pool area always plenty of sunbeds. Hotel is on a very quiet road between Lassi and Argostoli … an easy walk to Lassi a bit further for Argostoli

the only thing I would say is that I think it would be a bit quiet for children older than a few years old but there is a tiny play park and a children’s section in the pool

The hotel is a friendly place, spotlessly clean and a very helpful staff who will always spend time chatting with you. We hired a small car, which we found invaluable, particularly in the heat

We were Bed and Breakfast but ate there 2 evenings choosing the Specials and it was delicious. Ice cold white wine which is a vote winner for me. We had a lovely sea view room which was cleaned every day

The waiters helped each day with some useful Greek phrases after they found out that I have been learning Greek. Shops also provided a smile or two when they were greeted in Greek

Lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast had loads of fresh fruit and fresh Greek yoghurt. Also bacon, beans, fried eggs, scrambled eggs etc. plus usual continental breakfast with some extra Greek cheeses

Just add the cost on so that customers don't need to pay €102 for additions and the local tax on arrival for a week's stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It's compact but there's something for everyone

Amazing tavernas with gorgeous food 15 minutes walk on Lassi *****. Quite hilly terrain if you venture out but fine for people of moderate fitness, maybe wouldn’t be so good to if you had difficulty walking

The local shop “The Dolphin” is a short walk all be it up the hill is well stocked with all the essentials. There are 2 beaches within walking distance one from the back of the hotel and one from the front

My wife are hear right now and getting to the end of out stay. The hotel is in a fairly quiet location on the Argostoli side of Lassi. It's very near two small beaches that are only minutes from the hotel

Pool was lovely and warm, pool towels provided and changed regularly. Private beach and x2 sun beds with umbrella only 8 euros all day! Food was absolutely delicious

This was our second stay at The Mediterranee Hotel. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice

Only bad note; people put towels early in the morning on sunbeds on the beach and then show there at 10 or11 o'clock. I was on the beach at 9 and i didn't find any free sunbed

House maids fantastic! The breakfast good but coffee not the best but that's our only grumble. The cheapest sunbeds on a beautiful clean & sandy beach & the sunbed lady always had a smile & super friendly

The people who reserve the seats around the kids pool, are older/ elderly that don't have kids so when the kids go in the pool, they are sat shaking their heads/ tutoring/ looking in disgust because the kids are making a noise/ playing in the pool

This was our second time staying at the Thalassi Hotel. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Our room was fantastic, plenty of comfy sunbeds available around the pools at all times

The restaurant and pool bar is excellent and best of all the staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you

The clothes facilities was for us staying 2 weeks was absolutely not good it was open plan hanging rail thing with no doors, shelfs so high you have to be a basket ball player, and then the oppersite two draws exactly on the floor not a very good architect for a hotel! Breakfast was the same boring stuff every day: stale bread, cereals, just the one, when you have a cheese allergy and everything is...

Staff are welcoming, room we had was above our expectations and cleaned regularly. We are at retaurant for lunch and dinner on occasion during our stay. Bit expensive for food drinks but well presented

Next, we ordered a lunch snack (Mexican wraps) waiting and waiting they did not arrive, I asked what happened to our order 3 hrs later joking with them have they arrived from Mexico yet?, they did not appreciate the joke which it should have been the other way round I should have been grumpy cause we did not get our order, they said that the person misunderstood that took our order, see that word...

We have travelled rather a lot, and this hotel is not what it seems, no Greek flare, even the staff where not Greek, just once a week Greek music which actually we enjoyed there should have been one or two dancers to involve us tourist I think it would be a big success I would have joined in!! I mean, that's why we are there but no flare, English music played everywhere

Recently refurbished, very welcoming and friendly staff, free parking, good pool and bar. Restaurant is good, and wm priced appropriately for a hotel

They decorated our room the night of the wedding with flowers and a bottle of bubbly and then set out breakfast for the wedding party in the morning. Our room was immaculate and was decorated beautifully

The grounds are well kept and the food is reasonably priced and delicious, especially the souvlaki! Within a week of being back we are already looking to go back in Sept

I found its location to be perfect, a short walk to all the restaurants and shops, which meant it was lovely and quiet

I would recommend hiring a car as the hill coming back is extremely steep but if you don't mind a walk you are very close to great restaurants, shops and a fantastic beach

It was a very greek ,family owned hotel,the breakfast was good,our room was very nice kept clean towels changed regularly, the pool area was very nice,the staff were all friendly and helpful it was better than a lot of hotels we have stayed in

A beautiful hotel with the most amazing swimming pool, we stayed in a room at the top which was huge, two bedrooms and a big bathroom, it was clean and we always had clean towels

Such a lovely welcome from all staff that has continued throughout our stay. Room very very basic but super clean as staff are in every day so no complaints. Pool area is spotless, plenty sun beds and areas to sit

It felt a bit like a home from home. Stayed in room 32, comfy beds, great air-conditioning, albeit a small bathroom. Pool area clean and never a fight for sunbeds

Just stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was absolutely perfect. We stayed in room 35 which was a new refurbished one and was spotless with a lovely sea and pool view

Whilst the hotel pool and small beach are fine there is a decent beach for 10 euros for umbrella and two loungers just below the hotel. The reception staff and porters are excellent. Will be there again next year

We had a sea view with a balcony. Great pool area with cozy chairs. The staff were very nice and we really liked the location in Lassi, only 10 minutes from the airport. Photos are of the pool, room view and hotel lobby

The front desk staff were very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. There is bar & food service by the pool. The breakfast buffet (included) was adequate

They constantly ran out of hot water for Tea (you have to fill your own tea pot at the buffet) We much preferred the public beach next door as the WR private beach is very narrow and has loads of slippery rocks in the water

Jet2 organised two excellent days out but you need to rent a car if you want to see more of the island. A day trip to Lixouri by ferry is advised. There is a good choice of restaurants in both Lassi and Argostili

We enjoyed our breakfasts and learnt to eat in the buffet and sometimes the Lungmare at night. There are a lot of steps around the site and really you don’t need to leave the site unless you want too

Available also washing machine - that we occasionally used. Large garden with olive trees and other plants. Crystal clear swimming pool just in front of the apartment

We spent a very nice holiday in Villa Ostria. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our kids had a great time in the great pool and on the nearby beach.

We stayed for 10 days and explored most of the Lixouri side and south/central areas, we were pleased that we’d lucked out with where we were staying – the beautiful sandy beach and café a stroll away, and short drive (or very long walk, but we saw people doing it!) to Lixouri and the regular ferry to Argostili

With a two year old we also really enjoyed the turtles in the harbour at Argostili, the sandy beach at Vatsa, and an adventurous drive to Agia Eleni, Petani beaches and ice-creams on the pebbly beach at Assos village all must-dos

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Ostria, our hosts, Fortis and Nancy were extremely welcoming (an amazing plate of moussaka on the kitchen table when you get off a flight and drive arriving in the late afternoon is a lifesaver!)

Family running it was very attentive and pleasant. The only thing I would say is that the shower is not closed so the bathroom gets very very wet after a shower but that is. It enough to mark this cute property down

We spent the days around our wedding staying in the hotel and Anastasia and her team could not have been friendlier or more attentive

The beds were super comfortable (I really enjoyed the firm pillows); spacious bathroom with plenty of soap, shampoo, toilet paper); great smelling and absorbent towels; and an air conditioning system that not only worked, but kept the room nice and cold

The views from the sea rooms are stunning. All restaurants, shops and cafes are very close by. The pool has plenty of loungers and is a lovely way to relax

Lovely friendly 3 star hotel with great beachfront access. Pool is lovely and there is a good mix of shade and sun. Room was clean and sufficient. No it’s not luxurious, it’s simple but very clean

I would recommend The Summery to travellers young and old as it is in a quiet area but not far from the main square where there are many tavernas to choose from. I hope we can visit again soon

The bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance, as is the ferry to take you to the main town of Argostoli from where you can explore the island further by boat or by bus

A wonderful 2star Hotel Fabulous pool,lots of sunbeds. Excellent snack menu, breakfast included ( buffet style) bread, cheese, meat ,eggs cake. Staff make you feel part of a family

Rooms are very old, nothing special. No insect nets in the balcony door. Garden is nice though. An old fashioned pool and many sunbeds around it. Distance to town center is also very good.

What an amazing hotel!! It was just remodeled couple seasons ago and it’s absolutely beautiful, super clean with the most friendlier stuff and owners that I have met traveling around the world! My wife and I absolutely fall in love with this island this town and this hotel we will be back year after year!!!!!

I recommend hotel Palatino for everyone who wants to relax. Very clean, very peaceful place. For dinner you can try delicious greek food. Staff is friendly and helpful. For me one of the best :)

The area has not changed since we last holidayed there 17 years ago still beautiful and in my own personal opinion best place on the island

At D we had cold drinks, lounged by the super clean pool, dipped in and out to cool off, ate their wonderful chargrilled fish and spent a fine easy day in welcome shade

Very nice place to spend your time and the woman working here is polite and friendly. We got sunburned at the beach and the woman gave uz aloe vera leafs to helps calm down the skin

The food was good with decent servings! The yoghurt greek with fruit or honey was a hit and the breakfast was big enough for two! The hostess was very kind and made us feel welcome

We had a late flight out of Kefalonia so needed somewhere close to the airport to spend the day. The hire car was returned at noon and K K drove us to Dendrolivano

Bath is old, if you enter the room, it smells moldy and the atmosphere is like in a Horror Movie. There is nothing, so we rent a car for one day to just sleep in that hotel

Well for one night before a flight, it's ok. For 35 EUR per night, you can't say anything. But there is really a need for a renovation
