Visited for two weeks in August. The hotel is up in the mountains above Bali which makes for a peaceful environment but think a car to get around was needed unless you want to do a lot of walking/use the minibus service to get to and from Bali. A nice vacation, but the hotel had some drawbacks and I would say it is not a four stars hotel. Pros: the village is very beautiful, the hotel has a nice view overlooking the sea. Cute hotel with comfy beds, friendly staff, good breakfast and a nice beach bar. Sun beds on the beach cost 20-30eur extra per day but are free by the pool. The bathrooms in the rooms could use some refurbishment to match the modern look of the hotel, but they were ok.

I had an unforgettable stay at this hotel! Everything was great, but the staff really stood out. I have mixed feelings. If you’re in need of some warm weather and to spend time on a calm beach, this is definitely a great place to book. They cater to a small budget so food choices are edible and a little variation from day to day, but I can’t say anything I ate was “great” and for some reason they have no deserts, apart from ice cream and fruit, I guess that eats in to profit margins too much....

We visited in September 2023 for a week. We hired a car, which we would recommend as the island is beautiful and there are so many lovely places to visit. Reception staff have been on point throughout our holiday. Housekeeping, have been very helpful and tidy, bar and restaurant staff have been helpful for my nut allergy; but I would recommend adding a lot more labelling to the dishes as I was unsure if they contained nuts in their recipes. All in all we chose a quiet, restful, relaxing holiday with which this catered for.
