Things that i would have liked to be different: i am a picky eater and sometimes it was hard to find something more basic to eat :) ; quality of non alchoolic drinks was not the best; the pool got overcrowded very quickly; bigger room, but not really a problem for us-to be taken into consideration for those with babies

The hotel is very beautiful and well maintained. Simply fabulous, we loved this hotel even though our room was next to the pool! For the rest, nothing to complain about, the staff at the top, always looking after us

We were a bit scared when choosing this hotel because we haven’t seen many reviews about it but we were glad we chose it in the end

Pro: great quality food, lots of activities in the hotel because they had people that were doing different games all day until late at night, great staff, very clean rooms, very close to the beach, not very far from Heraklion airport

Lots of stores around the hotel. Very central to start an excursion. And a big thank you for the attention paid to the birthday of our daughter who celebrated her 8th birthday, a cake at the restaurant

Overall, i would recommend this hotel to people looking for a week of relaxation in a clean, comfy and fun place

The luxury spa was rejuvenating and relaxing. The Food was a taste for the buds and there were variety for the kids and adults. Overall, my family and I had a pleasurable stay and hope to visit there next holidays

We really enjoyed our stay in Filion Hotel. The room was spacious, fresh towels and cleaned everyday. The staff were very helpful with a quick and efficient service. Nothing was too much for them

We like a quiet holiday so the location was really good for us. The pools and areas were very clean. We were also well and truly entertained every evening whilst enjoying some cocktails

The main restaurant offered stunning views and a good variety of dishes, though the menu tended to be repetitive. You could expect to see the same main courses every two to three days

The staff was generally helpful and friendly, with special recognition going to the reception team and the pool bar staff, who consistently provided excellent service

Just an awesome place. Stores and super markets are very close and so is the beach. Aprox. 150 to 200 meters from the hotel. The. Food is amazing. Staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are cleaned every day.

Bali Star saved us! Our flight to Heraklion was delayed. We got to our original hotel late. A staff between Bokking and that hotel - the hotel did not have our booking, even though we had the record

10 pm I logged on, found a room at the Bali Star. They were waiting for us, took our bags and guided us to the closed dining room where they served us a nice dinner. The staff were incredibly helpful

2nd time visit. Location is convenient. It is close to the beach. Clean and staff is friendly. Spacious room and with swimming pool. Breakfast is good. Relaxing bar in the evening. Sunrise view is stunning.

The hotel’s chef cooked very tasty food in enormous amounts, breakfast and dinner were in the form of a buffet, so we could choose anything according to our taste, there was always freshly cooked dishes from the chef who was there all the time! It was great holidays in beautiful place! Surely I will come back again!

I’ve picked up the hotel and the place relying on the recommendations and I wasn’t disappointed! The place is wonderful, hotel was impressive and our room was clean and very comfortable! Hotel is very close to the beach ,I’d say it’s almost on the beach ,views was amazing and unforgettable

except for one thing, that you can't rent a scooter in the whole city, while back then it was the easiest thing to rent. Reception was great, communication in English without any issues, the lady is kind and helpful

We lived in a building in Mykonos, a bit on a hill, so we enjoyed the sunrise from the sea and the mountains. The food is delicious, the assortment is varied, everything is included, the service is pleasant

I presume it has got to do with covid and not so many employees. Great little spot Bali with good beaches and some nice shops and bars

We are just coming back from vacation. The hotel is in a fabulously beautiful and convenient location, where everything is close, but we enjoyed the peace, natural beauty and hospitality

Pros: centrally located between two nice beaches, easy parking; newly renovated rooms with Wi-Fi (we had Standard room); very tasty and fresh food, the variety of courses has definitely exceeded my 3-star expectations; well-motivated staff really try to serve guests at their best; rooms and all around are very clean

All inclusive is not such as you can have in 4* hotel in Egypt or so, but for 3* hotel if you have such buffet braekfast (cappucino or espresso is from machine means quite good), buffet lunch or dinner, you got more than usual 3*standard

only not good are alkoholic drinks, just beer is ok, but red wine taste is like fruite wine, white one is not good also (I am from wine county) and hard drinks are just local. At least wine could be upgraded

Great hotel, with very good facilities. We felt very comfortable here, not least because of the great hospitality of the owners. In addition, the location of the hotel is right on the beach. I can only recommend it!

During our stay, the pool area was extremely quiet but we might have got lucky with that! Good location for visiting two nearby beaches and lots of restaurants are close too

Very clean and minimalistic design of rooms and great breakfasts by the pool. Snack bar bellow serves great smoothies and goat ice cream - we will for sure come back ♥️

The manager stelios speaks excellent English and is very welcoming and helpful and was always going out of his way to help us when we asked. His son worked in the bar and restaurant and was equally kind and helpful

The food quality was good but being a smaller hotel the selection was smaller than other hotel buffets. However there was always at least two choices of meat dish, plus a fish or seafood dish

Overall a very good experience. Stelios is always helpful and looking after the guests. Is a relaxed atmosphere compared to bigger hotels

Pool was nice and no sun lounger fights! Used the partner hotel fillion for the gym and 3 additional pools which was a 10 min drive up the hill, imagine walking it would have been pretty strenuous but there was a minibus which I think you could use if you didn't have a car

Pasta dish with every meal plus side dishes and salads. With fruit ice cream and cake for dessert. We found something enjoyable to eat every meal but did eat out several days too as the choices were quite repetitive

There is a fridge, cooking hob, kettle, iron, microwave, hairdryer in them. Kitchen also contained sets of glasses, plates and so on. Our upper floor room had two balconies

The staff very quickly cleans the tables and brings food, that's a plus. Room: Minibar, shower, TV, not enough channels for kids, there was one in German. Like everything, normally, in General, rest satisfied )

The staff was very relaxed and smiling; the food was mediocre, but we always found something nice to eat for kuds and adults alike. The view is stunning from the main building

It is worth paying attention if you do not like walking up and down. I do not consider this a disadvantage, especially since the upper floors have a wonderful view of the sea and mountains

It was nicely located hotel in the port of the village. Easy walking distance from the centre of the village. Sandy beach little bit too crowded. Not enough sunbeds for everyone next to the pool

We booked Marelina Villas slightly unplanned as a last minute getaway. The reviews were good but I never realistically expected that it would live up to them

Marelina Villas is better than we could have imagined, and absolutely perfect for a family looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, despite the peak of the school holidays everything is unhurried and not crowded, the apartments well appointed, clean and comfortable, very helpful friendly staff and plenty of good quality reasonably priced food in the local tavernas

If you want the best of Crete, no fuss, quiet and friendly atmosphere- this is a gem 🇬🇷💙

The Greek people working here are very nice! It seems to me they are always ready to do something more for the guests. The view is great. I also like the level of hygiene. There's a small but cosy yard with a pool.

What a find, our accommodation was basic but spotlessly clean, very lovely people in a beautiful part of Crete. Plenty of tavernas to eat/drink st, all within walking distance

Hotel is near beaches, supermarkets and some excellent restaurants especially the Anchor. Rethymnon is only half an hour away by bus. Whilst the village itself is charming, it is awash with cats which ignore humans

Room was a good size with its own balcony. Reception girls were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was all cold offerings. Slightly lacking in the bathroom towel refresh and soap/shampoo replacement department

Nice place to stay in Panormo. Breakfast is not very varied but everything is tasty. Rooms are clean, WiFi is free, service is great. Special thanks to Vasil and George for the warm welcome and help during our stay!

The quality of sleep is at least excellent, with the microclimate favoring as well. Food based on the Mediterranean diet with ingredients and raw materials that you do not need to be a chef to recognize their quality

Hotel is in very good place of the Crete, you can travel easily from here to any direction. Village of Panormos with many Tavernas is just about 1,5km away. Owners of the hotel are very kind and helpful

Low wifi level, poor rooms, 1 km to Panormo. But cute owner, good view, and the best stone beach i ever see - crystal water with no garbage but funny colour fish.

Most relaxing friendly atmosphere you could wish for and clean and well run. I have had a delightful 3 weeks here. Food is very good too. Will definitely be coming back.

Such a lovely hotel! The hotel owner was very attentive and just the loveliest. The view is amazing and so is the pool and the food! Me and my boyfriend stayed for 10 nights and we will definitely be going back.

Hotel has a big swimming pool which isn't crowded of people, sometimes you can enjoy being alone in all pool area. Rooms are modest and tidy with air conditioning

They also provided bottle of champagne and wine and decorated the bedroom with flowers as they knew it was our honeymoon. They also upgraded our room from one with private pool to a villa free of charge

When you are resting by the pool or at the beach, you have a special "fun button" where you can order drinks or snacks. Staff was very friendly and competent. Rooms are comfortable and very clean

Lovely setting plenty of room to enjoy the facilities. A little isolated to walk to local hostelries, but there is a cheap "walley trolley" to nearest town for local food & drinks

Main pool can feel busy, but does have activities going on through the day. So we went to the Phaethon bar with pool. Which was quieter but still busy. Great if you sporty lots to do too
