Makis Inn Resort in Ermioni

We stayed at Makis Inn Resort for three nights at the end of October, and it was a truly memorable experience. The place is unique — perfectly blended with nature, showing great respect for the environment and offering the peace and tranquility one seeks in such a setting.

Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a large balcony with a beautiful view. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the hospitality of Yiannis and Ms. Nelly was genuinely warm and heartfelt.

A highlight of our stay was harvesting olives and pomegranates — an experience my children will never forget. The sea was calm, crystal-clear, and simply wonderful to gaze at. The resort also has a small playground that our kids absolutely loved.

A perfect destination for anyone looking to relax and connect with nature.

The place is somewhat magical..not many people, cousy and warm, the house you live in has everything you need for a relaxed vacation, the nearest food store is 10km away but it didnt give us any discomfort. Although to get here you will need a rental car. Makis was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Be careful when swimming in ocean for sea urchins, there are no signs but stepping on one could ruin your whole stay. If you want to snorkle there are underwater ruins of ancient temple of demetra, which is not far from shore, you can find squids and other sea fish but its quite scarse :) Food was good but a little overpriced for us. Fried squid and tsatsiki is a must try.

Our room was so lovely, and the staff were so kind. If I come back to Erminoni, I will definitely stay here again. The resort was stunning and the food was amazing. I loved the beach, and olive groves line the property. The atmosphere was so peaceful and the family that ran it were so sweet and helpful.

Exceptional hosts. A lovely family experience. Clean accommodations and delicious food. Will definitely come back again!

The rooms are very close (15-20 meters) from the private organised beach. Had a beach bar and some water sports!! A nice restaurant!! Is a family resort so thr food and service were very good! Mrs Neli prepare the most delicious pies for breakfast!
Great location 10 mins from Ermioni and the port for Hydra, 30mons for Porto Cheli and the port for Spetses! We had very nice family holidays!

Wonderful! Everything one can ask for in his yearly summer vacation: food, sea, alcohol and sun. We came with the family to enjoy the sea and came to visit 4 times since. Nelly the cook and the mama are a true story of a strong woman and a talented cook.

This is a hidden gem!! The amazing view and the tasty food make this a must visit resort.

For peace, sea and beach (almost) for yourself… then Makis Inn is the place. Friendly family. Apartment is fine with large balcony. Superior cleaning. After mid-September it is very quiet. But every morning breakfast is ready and if you want to eat in the evening you can indicate and you sit alone to dine at the beach. In the weekend a bit more bustle. If you want to be able to choose from several restaurants, Ermioni is less than a 10 minute drive. Nice place from where the boat also leaves for the island of Hydra.

Great value - Quiet, wonderful location among olive groves beside the sea. Charming hosts who went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect stay. Comfortable beds, even a robe and slippers. Everything sparkling clean. Lovely cosy apartments and restaurant right on the sea. Lots of options for day trips: Hydra, Nafplio, Athens... also just a really relaxing quiet place to stay. Thank you Yiannis and Nelly for your hospitality and kindness, such a lovely memory from our travels in a wonderful part of Greece. Hoping to return again!
