Grand Sarai Nafplio

What a great hotel! I loved everything about it for my family of 4 - the room setup, the charm, the decor, the view from the little balcony in our room, the windows on two walls with great views, the prime location and the good breakfast. I couldn't have picked a better place! I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Nafplio.

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Barn at the end of August for four days - this was actually our second time, as we spent a few days here on our honeymoon 4 years ago! Once again, I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. The room, the service, the food, the amenities and most importantly the COVID precautions...from start to finish the experience was excellent. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make guests feel safe and comfortable. I absolutely plan to stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Eh, okay, the main thing!!!

Excellent hotel, in the old town but slightly higher so very calm. The junior suite with sea view is great : big, high ceilings and multiple amazing views of the town and the sea. Will stay here again next time I am in Nafplio.

We booked a Superior Double Room w/sea view for 5 nights. The room was very nice, updated bathroom and a beautiful view. Note that shampoo and body was not provided. Our GPS took us up Fotomara, which is one way with no outlet and was under construction. We had to back down a very narrow road, which was harrowing to say the least. The person, unfortunately, at the front desk gave us little help on how to get out of there and on to the square below to unload our luggage. Luckily, a man taking out his bottles helped us find our way. It took us an hour to get turned around and to the square below. But, after those things got ironed out, our stay was very pleasant and that was due to Christos, who worked at the front desk from 3-11 pm. He was so helpful. He provided us w/a city map and marked places to park and how to get to places of interest. Also, he was so knowledgeable abut the city and its history. We had a few pleasant conversations w/him that made out stay memorable. Without that personal interaction, it's just another hotel. He is quite an asset to the Grand Sarai. So, thank you Christos for your generosity and taking the time to help help us!

Perfect hotel in Old Town Nafplio. You are walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Great views, comfy beds, amazing staff.

Nicely renovated hotel in the centre of the old town. Very helpful and kind staff, especially the young girl at the reception 😊. A good quiet place to explore Nafplion from and not too far away from all the crowds and shopping/eating area.
The rooms were also well equipped, especially with super comfortable beds. Only the bathrooms need a bit of attention to match the rest of the experience. Definitely recommend for a short stay to see the castle and strolling around the town day and night 😊.
