Lovely flat in a beautiful part of syros. Ano Syros is very tranquil and picturesque - the perfect place to relax ! The balcony in our flat was a great place to unwind and has wonderful views over the island. You can walk into hermoupoli (down many steps!) however the walk back is difficult given how steep it is. A taxi will cost you about €5.

This is one of those places where you have to visit once in your life! This hotel surpassed our expectations!!!!! It was even better in reality!!! We stayed 5 nights and it was "a dream holiday". George, the owner, offered us local delicacies and wine, helped us with great suggestions on local restaurants and bistros. This is my favourite budget hotel in my favourite cycladic island. The hotel stands in a quite side street above the harbor area, in the very center of Ermoupolis. From there you can explore easily the city, all the shops are around. The Aegli is a small, family run place, so don't expect luxury. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but the view.... wow. Be sure to ask for a room on the upper floor...

This is a very nice small hotel with comfortable apartments. Neat, clean, equipped with the essentials, even to cook or put in a washing machine. Definitely recommend ! 5 out of 5. Stayed at Axilleion for 4 days. Very great host. We arrived by ferry from Naxos and unfortunately had a two hours delay due to the ferry company. We informed the host and he managed to keep the reception open just for us. Furthermore, obtained a nice list of local tips on what to do and see in Syros. The double room is nice and clean. Clean and lovely. Enaugh for to sleep at night. We didn't need more. Good price. Close to everything, just a mattress was really uncomfortable as hard as rock. Hotel itself is very beautifully decorated and scenes clean.

Very nice small hotel with elegant decorations. Clean with very nice views. Next to the city center and the port, perfect for visiting the city. The only problem is that the road in front of it is always very noisy day and night, at least during July and August.

Very sweet staff, the rooms were not spectacular but better than the price suggested. The amenities were all included and whatever extra was requested was provided even when they didn't have to. The location is perfect, near the port between the residential area and the tourist shops, not busy or loud but only a stone's throw away from the action.

Highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are lovely and spacious and have wonderful views of the Agean sea. The bathroom is quite large too. The host is very generous, kind and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is within walking distance of amazing restaurants and iconic parts of the city. You will not be disappointed.

Location was great, downtown and easy to access. Soundproofing was good too, something important, since it’s right on the road.
