Agnantia Bed & Breakfast

We loved our three nights staying at Agnantia Bed and Breakfast. The room was fabulous and the view was overlooking Ithaca. Maira and her team made our stay so wonderful. On arrival the lemon drink and pastries in the fridge were a delight. And the breakfast was out of this world. Daily baking and fresh fruit and Greek delicacies made our stay so wonderful. We appreciated everything. It was so good being in the countryside and able to access tavernas in different locations. Thanks Maira, we’ll keep in touch.

Just got home from a magical week in Kefalonia, made even more magical by my stay at the Agnantia. Maira is an incredible hostess. Warm, friendly, generous, and a fantastic conversationalist. I'll miss the cozy room (with the gorgeous view), the lavish breakfast spreads, the charming drive to and from Fiskardo, but mostly the hospitality.

I met a number of people during my stay who visit Kefalonia yearly. I understand why and can't wait to go back. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else but with Maria at the Agnantia.

We stayed 3 nights here on our vacation to Kefalonia and it was the highlight of our holiday. Maira is one of the best hosts, her kindness and attention to detail was unmatched. The view from our room was breathtaking and we were glad we chose to stay a short drive out of town to get the elevated views. We are already planning a trip back.

We met up with our Australian friends here for 5 nights as part of a trip round Greece. We travel a lot together and Agnantia is one of the most delightful places we have ever stayed. Our room was spotless, pretty and had good storage. The bathroom was small but totally functional with excellent water pressure. A small kitchenette had everything you might need. Our balcony, with table and chairs, had a superb view across the sea to Ithaca, great for a pre dinner drink!! But it's the people who made our stay so lovely .... Maira is definitely the 'hostess with the mostest' She is warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. She has so much local knowledge and many contacts on the island We celebrated our wedding anniversary and Maira booked a lovely seaside restaurant with a perfect sunset view. That day we had a cake and flower arrangement in our fridge together with a bottle of local liqueur. So kind and thoughtful. Theodora is the most wonderful cook, making everything from fresh local produce and the breakfast buffet was 6 star. Mary is so smiley and couldn't do enough to help us. We ate outside in the bouganvillea filled garden every morning .. a real treat ! Thank you ladies for a really lovely stay ... we hope to see you again ! Breakfast was

What an experience! Views were phenomenal and service second to none. Staff very helpful and always there taking care of their customers. Breakfast food very fresh every day with a variety of options. I would definitely stay here again in northern Kefalonia. Rooms so cute and comfy. Worth the money to experience beautiful village of Tselendata near the town of Fiscardo. Many small and beautiful beaches (paralias) and some caves in the area. Hiking paths are available there too if you like to hike. Lots of shops, markets, and restaurants in downtown Fiscardo at the port. Bring comfortable running or walking shoes for some exercise, and prepare to eat some good and healthy food.

A beautiful hotel with amazing view a few kms outside Fiscardo. The hotel is run by the owner Maira who treats her guests as her own family. Fantastic breakfast in a very friendly environment where many guests can make acquaintances by sitting round a large table (if they so choose). Every day all guests get a treat in the form of a Greek pie in filo pastry individually wrapped (cheese pie, leak pie, courgette pie, pumpkin pie, you name it, Moira can make a pie out of it!).

We've been here for 6 nights and we liked a lot. The place it's amazing, with a stunning view over the sea and the olive trees, very quiet in day and night. Our apartment was to the second floor with two beautiful bedrooms, very clean and comfortable. About the food at the breakfast what can I say...very good quality and to be honest I'm a fussy eater person. The greek yogurt was so good, the best I've eaten in Kefalonia. The omelette was also very good, the cookies, fruits and everything they had was fresh and delicious. The owner is a very nice person and helpfully. She recommend me to buy some great olive oil, I think it was the best from the island. We have got our car, so was quite easy to go around. The parking was free of charge and close to the location. In a nutshell, I really recommend this place. About the Fiscardo, in my opinion is top notch.The water in the sea in some places look like in Maldives.

We had a wonderful time. Maira is a great host. We had a room w breath taking view to sea. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Water is always running. Breakfast is the best ever. Every thing is fresh and locally produced.. Every morning special bakery prepared by Maira and her team packed given to go. Enjoyed them so much. Maira took special care of each visitor staying. Thank you so much for your help Maira again for the tickets. We really appreciate it . İn summary we felt very much at home..Thank you and look forward to visiting again.. Koray

Would give six stars if I could! Absolutely exceptional breakfast and wonderful hospitality. Villas have great view and are well-located. I cannot say enough good things about Maira and her team. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay, complete with personal touches and generosity. Will definitely be back — an absolute diamond!

Agnantia is a wonderful family-run B&B close to Fiscardo. Set in an ideal location, it was very picturesque & peaceful with breath taking views across the sea to the island of Ithaca from our balcony. The warm, friendly & generous hospitality offered by Maira was simply outstanding. Every morning we thoroughly enjoyed a homemade Greek breakfast prepared by Maira, with an array of local delights to choose from. Simply the best breakfast we have encountered! Maira' homemade greek pies were out of this world! Simply the best greek pies we have tasted, and each day of our stay, a different pastry to enjoy! Such a lovely gesture, & always going above and beyond to please all her guests. Maira' recommendations for local tavernas was very useful, with 'Makis' taverna our favourite by far, serving traditional greek dishes with a lovely atmosphere. The room was immaculate, comfortable & cleaned daily - everything you required for a relaxing holiday. Thank you so very much! We will return!
