Kefalonia Grand

I don’t understand some of the bad ratings here. The location is perfect and the service of the hotel and restaurant is so lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay.

Yes the rooms are not very large and the balconies are small but in general I need the room for the night so I’m fine with the room size.

Regarding the parking possibilities we always found a free lot in one of the roads nearby the hotel. Max walking distance we had was ~100m.

The only downside we’ve seen or better heard is the noise. A little bit from outside but most from inside the hotel. The room doors are not very isolating and on top we had a connection door to the next room. This needs improvement especially because the room doors are closing very loud if you are not careful and also the guests and cleaning staff (who is doing a great job) creates noise. But this is not worth to reduce the rating.

The staff were so friendly with nothing too much trouble. The restaurant also offers a good selection. Hotel is of simplistic design. My only comment would be that there is a need for some maintenance to lift the standard.

We had two lovely nights at the Grand, we had a side room and on the top floor, very clean, great shower and very comfortable bed (10/10 for the pillows). Breakfast was excellent and drinks in the evening were perfect. Excellent stay 😃

A very nice boutique hotel! The room was lovely and clean! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is hard to beat as you are right on the bay and in the heart of the town. Breakfast was a large buffet with a choice of ordering off a small menu and the restaurant at the hotel was very tasty for dinner as well. I would absolutely stay here again!

We just returned from a week stay at Kefalonia Grand and we loved our experience. The location is perfect, close to the centre whilst also being on the waterfront, rooms are cleaned daily and also have a good sized balcony however, the main asset to the hotel is definitely the staff. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming from the reception to the restaurant staff. Thank you for a great stay.

A simple modern style hotel in an excellent central location right on the harbour. Very friendly and helpful staff. All our meals were faultless. Everything just works!
Tip: book a room facing the harbour for the best views.

There are no words to describe the hotel and staff. I think Argostoli has a lot to offer. My wife and I have met many times for work on the island, but also for leisure. Marika at the front desk, so helpful and instructive despite her busy schedule. . The impressions are so good for a city hotel. STANDARD OF GREEK HOSPITALITY!!!!
