Emelisse Nature Resort in Fiskardho

Our wedding was perfect!! It was the most magical location and the food was phenomenal!! We are so grateful for the support from the hotel. Special thanks to Theodorakis who helped everything run smoothly on the day.

We weren't staying at the hotel, but rather popped in from town for a drink at the bar. The bar has a gorgeous setting, with 180-degree views of Fiskardo Bay and the reflection pool. They have a very good selection of drinks.

Great resort and staff that go the extra mile

We had a fantastic time there! The food was delicious and the sunset views from the restaurant were breathtaking! The waitress (I can't remember her name, but she had green eyes) was amazing to my family - remembered my daughter's birthday, etc. She was great! The pools were amazing. We rented their boat for the day - Captain Costas was great! What a great trip!

This hotel is a true gem. It's well-designed, with beautiful landscaping and sea views. The breakfast is excellent, almost entirely homemade. We also loved the spa. I also had one of the best dinners in the restaurant that I can remember in a long time. The rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. If you're looking for a luxurious, relaxing getaway in a beautiful, natural, and understated setting, this is the place for you. The staff was very nice.

Loved the hotel, and one of the nicest pools I’ve seen. Excellent facilities around the pool for relaxing and drinking. Wonderful area taking you to the sea (much warmer than the pool) with chairs screwed into the rocks. Beautiful blue water with little fish mooching around your feet.

The room was smart and the bathroom decent, albeit small for truly 5 star hotel rooms. Great shower though.

They were making an effort in the restaurant. Good service. Greek night was an excellent treat on arrival, I would recommend that. Breakfast is in a different area with stunning views but the options could be better. Still quite happy with it though and again, good service.

Wish I had time to make use of the tennis court, looked in great nick. Unlike the gym which needs lot of work. Running machines definitely need replacing, one I used was not safe. There are outdoor areas which look ok but no good if it’s raining.

It’s probably worth hiring a car if you come to the island, although I’d happily stay in the hotel for a week with the odd shuttle to Fiskardo. But there is limited parking and it is quite tricky. If you arrive at night make sure you call 9 and get reception to pick you up. There are no lit signs so very difficult to make out where to go. Overall it is not lit enough at night but that’s a minor gripe, the layout is v simple once you realise where everything is.

Wonderful hotel for a Greek vacation. Incredibly peaceful and relaxing with the most magnificent views you can imagine. All the staff were warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Great accommodations for families. The hotel pool is one of the most beautiful views we've ever experienced with gorgeous secluded beaches just minutes away by walking our car. Magical destination.

What a fantastic hotel , and wonderful people, the main restaurant has amazing food and the friendliest people, one night was ‘Greek’ night with superb music two staff members also sang and they were both brilliant !!

Where do I start.....an amazing location with stunning views and gorgeous food. The pool area has an amazing backdrop with a beautiful beach only a minutes walk. The beach was stunning with rocks to dive in from and water so clear. It was truly beautiful. I liked the fact that day boats were discouraged from dropping anchor and if any ventured near they were told by the locals on paddleboards to move on. The breakfast was the best with homemade jams and my favourite marmalade, which was made by the two ladies who owned the hotel. The Emelisse is a family run hotel, and the staff is so friendly. We went on a motor boat trip which was to be frank, the best excursion ever. The skipper was a friendly chap called Costas who knew the areas and the best beaches to go to. I have never enjoyed a trip so much. Another note was that a complimentary bus was also put on by the hotel for guests to attend the local port Fiskardo. This port had an abundance of restaurants and decent shops. It was quite like an adult Disneyland with all the restaurants and bars. I did not want to leave. A huge 'Thank you' to all the staff at the Emelisse. I will stay again. Efcharisto! Rich and Ruth
