Enorme Santanna Beach

I would like to add more stars but it is not possible. I've traveled to Multiple places in my life, but this hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed at. Everything is very good, from the suite with the wonderful view, to the cleanliness, the staff, breakfast and dinner, everything was perfect. The bar with the most beautiful view I've ever seen. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be back soon. The food was a great quality and every evening different, simply wonderful!

Great place to spend some nice days. Unfortunately the distance to next city is a bit too much to reach by feet but this is only for the case You want to explore the surrounding

Wow. My family and I came to stay for 3 nights and couldn’t believe our eyes. This looks and feels like the hotels or resorts you see on Instagram, but for real. The only disadvantage is that it is not accommodating to people with disabilities, unless they are willing to pay tip for the go-cart ride to the top (the hotel is on a mountain and you must go up many stairs to reach your room at times). The food was good and the service was always great. Private pools for almost every room and plenty of space on the beach beds!

The hotel is beautiful! The rooms are very clean and modern. The food is really good and there is a big variation of traditional creek food and Asian. We had a room with a big balkony. That is suitable for 2 persons. There are also rooms with a privat pool at the balkony available.
The hotel is unfortunately not really close to a big city… you need to walk, take a taxi or rent a car but that’s all possible at the really friendly and always helpful reception.
We enjoyed our trip to Kreta a bit more because of the great hotel!

What you HAVE to do:
-Banana Safari at the local waters ports dealer!! Amazing! 30€ per person they will take you with a banana boat to a water cave and you can snorkel there and jump from a cliff (amazing feeling)

-yacht trip (150€) for two persons but it is so amazing and food is included! The trip covers the whole day and will take you to a small island next to Kreta which is really beautiful with white sand beaches.

-jet ski at the local water sports dealer. No question about it, a MUST do!

Other than that all the staffs are really friendly and willing to help you in every situation.

I NEED to highlight the two Barkeepers “Stelios” and “Panos” they were my personal highlight at this hotel! Those two gentleman’s are so amazing. Friendly, Helpfull, always in a good mood. You need to enjoy a really good cocktail from them! Have a nice conversation with them. Those two guys are amazing.

We spent a week in total at this very good hotel.
Starting with the reception at check-in, the daily support, the good food and the individual help with questions or comments. All in all, a perfect holiday in a very good accommodation.
The view from the rooms was breathtaking. The view directly to the sea as well as to the town of Ierapetra, became a daily ritual at sunrise and sunset. The very attentive and helpful hotel staff left nothing to be desired. A shuttle to the rooms at any time of the day, a good selection of drinks at the bar and the daily changing menu at the buffet are worth mentioning. The morning yoga session on the beach was also a great experience. The rooms were spacious and lacked nothing. The beds were like new and we slept very well.
The hotel is located outside the town of Ierapetra, which is nevertheless easy to reach. The clean and adjacent hotel beach is a great place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. Around the hotel there are some beautiful bays and beaches as well as starting points for hikes in gorges. We liked the mix of relaxation and active holidays very much.
We would love to come back!

A very nice and modern hotel. The rooms are very clean and the huge balcony is a dream. The staff, from the reception to the service, are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner are very tasty. The beach is very close to the hotel, the loungers are free and there are enough of them. The beach section is also very clean.

The hotel resort has a lot of potential. The staff is very friendly and service minded. The rooms and concept is amazing, specially an own or shared swimming pool. The beach front is relaxing and good to swim. However pebble and not sandy. There are some activities possible , like yoga.
Breakfast and diner buffet good and delicious. Only remark I have is that you can only order an espresso after 9 am, because it’s done at the bar and it is extra. I would recommend to buy for the breakfast these machines which make all kind of coffee, as the filter coffee was not very tasty. I wanted to take a star, whereas everything else was excellent, so as already said there is potential here. It has everything for a perfect beach club.

We enjoyed a lot our stay, when we arrived there was a fruit plate and a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the room. Very nice surprise ! Stuff was friendly and nice. The food was tasty and plenty of variety. We recommend it.

We booked a room with private pool and it is amazing. The private pool is small (3x2m) but we are two adults and don't have our kids with us.
The hotel is very clean, staff super friendly and it's the most luxurious holiday i have ever had.
The buffet is great, fresh and yummy (morning and evening) - i actually don't enjoy Greek food so i am fine with the different nationality food every evening - hubby loves greek food so in all honesty thought it was weird having asian last night.
The only "negative" point would be tap water at disposal during dinner, that would be great cos i don't like bottled water.
The beach is great, you do not have to fight for a sun lounge. It's rocky so bring beach shoes but you can see some great fishes in the sea.
It's a perfect place to relax and do nothing (true you need a car to go out and about) and if you don't want to pay extra for drinks, just drive 5 min into town and buy drinks at the local supermarket
I would not really recommend this as a family holiday - it's more a couple resort. I think if i had taken my kids here they would have been bored. The communal pool is also just a "smaller" lap pool and there is a lounge/bar pool but don't expect to do 1.5km in this pool. For real swimming you can go in the sea!
