is in a perfect location. Apartment in a small building of apartments for rent. Lovely and helpful staff. A comfortable and spacious apartment. Air conditioning in the living room and in the bedroom. Convenient parking.

Alsos house was a really good place to stay. It was spacious,quiet and clean and within walking distance of Kalabaka township. I would highly recommend this place.

I would venture to say that there is not a better place to stay than here when visiting Meteora. Easy check-in, reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. About a 15 minute drive from Alsos to Holy Trinity monastery parking. The picture of the house is actually from Holy Trinity.

Also's house is a great location to walk to town or take the foot path up to the Holy Trinity monastery. Our room was comfortable clean and had amazing views. It is far away from the city center. The view is nice but realized that you can see Meteora from almost anywhere in the city. The personal doesn't speak good English. 50 minutes walking trail to one of the monastery. Looks renovated but they painted over electrical outlets and tv stands in a hurry. Booked last minute so it was one of the few places available.

Amazing view. Simple room. Not huge. Get room with balcony facing meteora. Quite a walk up but it's good for you!

The most scenic hotel of our stay in Greece. Rooms are large, all have great views, balconies on the back have incredible ones. Beautiful building, town and scenery. Would stay there again tomorrow.

Loved it! The owner is so informative and gives you the best service. Amazing views from the room. Quiet place and really close to a small hike up Meteora stones. Not in the noisy center (wshich is a huge plus cause there the view is closed) but walking distance from restaurants. Beautiful woody porche.

Nice manager, rooms and view are good. Lots of cute cats around. Very quiet as in a newly developed part of town. Walking time to town is ok.

Truly a wonderful place to stay. Spiros and his wife, Mary, went far out of their way to make sure I had a good experience both at the hotel and in the area, and getting to know them was a pleasure. The room was very comfortable, with two lovely balconies, and the breakfast featured some delicious homemade baked goods. Highly recommended.

We had a beautiful time at Rina's house... Hosts are divine people who will tell you and give you everything you need. House is well furnished, sparkling clean and have lots of amenities. Cozy bed, beautifull terrace and a view over meteora are few more things you want to consider to visit this charming place. We will come again, for sure!

We had the chance to arrive early so the lady who takes care of cleaning was there to help us with the room and the parking. I do understand people that get late doesn't have the same experience and must call for a 4 digits code to get the key... well I had this in Switzerland that's not terrible. Been here with my Family for 2 days in the summer of 2017. Stayed at the separate cottage, and it was just wonderful. The hotel is pretty close to the Monasteries, and the location itself is mesmerizing. You literally wake up at the foot of a giant vertical Rock. The sunrises are absolutely stunning. We had wonderful breakfasts and chatted with the hostess and her husband. Such beautiful welcoming...

We had the cottage! So we had privacy, plus a little veranda for coffee. Breakfast was super. We sat and our hostess brought us our breakfast. Yogurt, juice, coffee, home made preserves, honey, and the bread was excellent. Altogether a lovely place to stay.

Amazing location, friendly host. The room is in the small side but it is acceptable. Very functional and you are in the middle of a very quiet neighborhood, coffee shop across from the guest house is amazing. Remember to check out the small tiny balcony with amazing view. Winter can be a little bit cold but it is almost perfect time to enjoy the peaceful quiet Meteora.

Good location. Almost the center. Close to Meteors. Clean, comfortable beds. There is everything you need for the kitchen (dishes, stove, refrigerator) there is a washing machine.

A hostel with very helpful staff that will assist in planning your stay in every detail. Dorms are comfortable with thick duvets and clean bathrooms. Hot water ran out at night and in morning. Kitchen is will equipped, would be helpful if salt/pepper and tea and coffee were provided.

For some reason hostelworld isn't letting me review so I thought I'd review here instead! Fantastic hostel, stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. The hostel is well equipped with every bed having a socket to use and curtains on the below beds for privacy. Kostas the owner is very helpful and friendly and gave great advice on how to hike up to all the monasteries and where to take some great pictures...

One of the best hostels I've ever been in. It's clean and has a very well equipped kitchen. They also have a girl-only bathroom and offered to help myself with the towels. What I liked the most is that the bottom beds have a little curtain, so even though you're in a shared room you can still get some privacy. I would definitely stay there again!

I would give the Holy Rock 10 stars if I could! My room was clean, the bathrooms were nice, the air conditioning worked, and towels were provided. The kitchen was also well-stocked. To be honest though, the accommodations are quite standard - it’s the people that make this hostel so great! Kostas and the volunteer staff were all friendly & helpful, and the lounge area facilitated great conversations...

The best hostel experience, so much so that I felt I should leave my first review on Google. Dora does a wonderful job at making the hostel feel like an extension of her home. Her cooking is very nice too. We had a lot of volunteers during our stay so everything was clean.

Dora was an amazing and caring hostess, plus a very good cook. Rooms were clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom, with a nice hot shower. A great place to stay when you are in Meteora.

I stayed for a week and the hosts were very open and kind. The hostel is on top of a beautiful old stone building with a terrace and an outdoor kitchen, views of the mountains. Dora, the owner cooks a delicious breakfast with many courses of homemade pies, eggs, her own feta, tomatoes and grapes. The location is exceptional.

What makes this place so amazing is the host. We've been traveling for over 9 days now & stayed in 5 different hostels in that time. This was easily the best host. She farms her own ingredients, serves you until you can't eat another bite, and even helped negotiate a sunset drive up in the mountains with a local shop owner. We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was very rustic and the experience was unique. The hotel is close to the Meteors, all around it you can see the big rocks. We had an apartment in the hotel, was great. The host gave us all the information we needed, a map and was kindly checking us in. In the afternoon we walked around the hotel and see the scenery with the old village. All great!

Junior Suite no. 5 is a beautiful room. Really big bed, bubble bath, balcony with an amazing view at the rocks of meteora at sunrise. Elena was a great help, even got us wood for the fireplace late in the evening.

We got a nice clean room that accommodates our family of four. It was like the pictures portrayed it sans the fire but I think though we thought it was cold it was not cold for that season. But there was a very efficient heater that kept us at just the right temperature. Our room did not have a view of the mountain peaks but our balcony had a picturesque view of the next village and it was quiet right...

Nice hotel, very clean with everything working and very comfortable beds. It has a kitchen , a small terace for the room and parking. It's close to the city center but still it's placed in a very quiet area, right below the mountains. Great view out the window. The host offered suggestions for restaurants and sights to see.
