The hotel is in a good location and has a parking lot. Although it is an old hotel, the facilities are well maintained

Good service from the staffs who provide information about local attractions, transports etc. The hotel is a bit old, but clean and still the best choice in Meteora if you are looking for a standard 4 stars hotel.

The breakfast buffet was stocked with traditional Mediterranean fare as well as American favorites. It should be noted that the room and bathroom are a bit tight. My opinion on the bed was it was too hard for me

We arrived at the hotel about 7 30pm. So we didn't use the inviting pool as the sun was down. Staff met us and helped us into the lobby. The hotel is huge with lots of places to just sit and enjoy the view 😍

The room is small but warm, the indoor temperature is just right in winter, the breakfast is very good, the waiter is hospitable and very nice, and hot water is provided in the hotel lobby

Hotel Kosta Famissi is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Meteora. The location is perfect—close to everything and ideal for exploring the area

The property is in a very good location. There are plenty of restaurants and town centre minutes away. The room we stayed in was on level 4. The view was directly at Meteora

The location is great, especially if you have a view over the Meteora. Biggest downside is that it is extremely noisy with groups leaving for tours at 06:00. Shouting in the hallway slamming doors

It was a pleasant surprise to find an iron in the cupboard which was very convenient. Breakfast was great and dinner was even better with a variety of greek traditional dishes. The staff were always pleasant and helpful

The room was very clean, with spacious bathroom and shower. The beds are clean and very comfortable to sleep on. Staff at the front desk, both day and night shift, are amazing

Stayed here as part of a two day guided tour of Delphi and meteora. Location was very good with great views. In room lighting could be less bright white lighting and more relaxing amber

This place has such a grand feel especially when you can sit on your balcony and look at the majestic views of Meteora and the surrounding town! There's quite a few facilities/activities to do in this hotel

Rooms were spacious and felt complete and the balconies weren't small and felt comfortable to hang around

Out of all the places we stayed in Turkey and Greece, I had been warned that this one wasn’t quite the same level. To the contrary, this was my very favorite. It was beautiful, not flashy, and lacked nothing

It is definitely not a 4 star hotel, as we were told, but it is decent. Reception area is spacious, the room was clean but incomplete - missing the other night table. The dinner was below par, the breakfast OK

We stayed in this hotel for one night as a part of our tour to Meteora. Our room was fine, had a nicely renovated bathroom and a view on Meteora. The buffet dinner and breakfast were both good. Nothing to complain about!

A small hotel for the general public, with good value for money

I originally thought the hotel was pretty good, as I could see the hanging monastery, but soon after I entered the room, I was hit by a flying insect, not a mosquito. When I got up, I felt itchy and bumpy

The bathroom was fine except for the tub; it was small and had two levels, which made it awkward for showering. Each of us almost fell over while showering. We could hear people in the next room clearly

Luckily, those people went to sleep very early. If you need three beds, I suggest getting adjoining rooms. We had three beds in our room and it was tough to move around in the room

Kalambaka is worth visiting. The hotel has convenient parking, is friendly and warm, has a good breakfast, is conveniently located, has comfortable rooms and fresh air. It is recommended to stay. Kalambaka is not bad.

Great location, 10 minutes walk from the first Meteora church Saint Nicholas. 30 minutes walk from closest big city Kalambaka. Super quite and calm area. Tasty family restaurant in 100 meters.

The location of the accommodation was good and clean, and I arrived early and was thankful that they kindly let me check in so I could unpack my luggage and travel comfortably

Very accommodating and comfortable room. Seems to cater to groups so if you don't like groups this is not best for you.

A nice hotel, quiet, helpful staff, nice breakfast, However, the ******* map location is WRONG. It is a 30 minute uphill walk from central Kalabaka, not a 5 min walk. Take a taxi for about 5 Euros.

Check in was smooth. Receptionist was very friendly, gave us recommendations and highlighted to us the monasteries in the area. There were space for car parking. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was decent.

In a very good location, only 8-10 min drive from the monasteries, wonderful views from the balcony, very friendly and respectful staff 👍🏻 There was no parking lot, but there was plenty of free parking just a few meters away

You can easily hike to the Meteora monastery areas or take a very short drive to get there. The room itself was fairly basic, AC was old and not strong, the bed was kind of hard, and the wifi was not great

Note that there are no elevators in this guesthouse. You'll need to carry the luggages up the stairs (from outside of the guesthouse going in and another flight of stairs if room is located on the upper floor)

Otherwise I don't think we would have had the opportunity as the guesthouse was not available for online booking during the Christmas week. This is a warm and cozy guesthouse and we would come back here again

We stayed here overnight during our visit to Meteora (which by the way means suspended in the air or lofty in Greek). In any case, this is a lovely, charming hotel. Our room was well decorated and spotless

I think we were the only group staying in the guesthouse plus one other couple. There is a restaurant next door but apart from that, it is quite a walk to Kalambaka town (not really advisable in the cold)

We spent our first night in Greece here and we all had a good sleep. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. The heater worked well and kept us all warm and cozy

The facilities are very good value for the price, but what is invaluable is the outstanding service. Gina at the front desk gave us precious tips, both for eating in town and for visiting the monasteries

The hotel is located in the centre of Kalambaka. We had a very nice room with an amazing view to the Meteora Mountains from the huge balcony. The room was nicely furnished and the bathroom had a bath tube

The most scenic hotel of our stay in Greece. Rooms are large, all have great views, balconies on the back have incredible ones. Beautiful building, town and scenery. Would stay there again tomorrow.

The hotel is perfectly located at the beginning of the sightseeing tour for Meteora. Free parking is available across the street. The room was spacious with a lovely balcony. breakfast was great with tasty Greek food

The hotel is very nice and locate 8-10 min walk from the center and traine station or 15 min walk to bus station. Reception helped me to book local tour right after I arrive the hotel, very helpful.

The monasteries truly have to be seen to see some unbelievable buildings, and to be lucky enough to actually visit one was a special experience. The night-life provided some nice restaurants, and dancing venues

As a bonus, there is a pool to relax in while taking in the view. As for location, it’s about a 20-minute walk to restaurants in Kastraki and just a quick taxi ride to central Kalambaka

We were surprised when we checked out to find we were charged three euro per teabag! This was the first Greek hotel we have stayed in so not sure if standard practice but we have never encountered this anywhere else we have travelled in the world

We couldn’t find a kettle in the room and my husband went down stairs to enquire. There is no kettles in the rooms but you are welcome to come down stairs and make yourself a cup of tea whenever you like

The location is great and all of the surrounding area is incredible. However by far the best thing about this hostel is the lovely owner Dora and the volunteers who help with the running

Great little hostel, heard many things about Dora but didn't get to cross paths. The good news is that Ismael who was managing the place is also an amazing person. Friendly, hospitable, informative and funny

Such a beautiful experience. After such a long travel day, it was amazing to come to Dora's place for a home-cooked meal. She is so kind and generous! The rooms are lovely, and the views are great :)

We had a lot of volunteers during our stay so everything was clean

The hotel is located in the center of the town. It is very easy to reach the bus station, information, and the restaurants nearby. A grocery store is just next door

We had a beautiful cozy room on the top floor. Location of the hotel is perfect. Just 8 min walk from central station. The view was amazing

We really enjoyed sitting there with a bottle of wine in the evening. We actually appreciated the service not being too overwhelming like some of the places we stayed in Greece

this is a good place to stay close to some nice restaurants and the plus is they have a multiple sockets good for smart phones and laptops.
