Where to stay with pets in Kalambaka

The hotel is located in the centre of Kalambaka. We had a very nice room with an amazing view to the Meteora Mountains from the huge balcony. The room was nicely furnished and the bathroom had a bath tube

Great value for money! Located right in the center of Meteora, surrounded by bars and restaurants and a beautiful view of the mountains, we had room 408 which had a big terrace with great views.

3 stars is the max we can give. Very good location, friendly staff and that's all. Old hotel, very small elevator and horrible beds. Were clean absolutely uncomfortable. Couldn't sleep. Fair price for a family room!

The facilities are very good value for the price, but what is invaluable is the outstanding service. Gina at the front desk gave us precious tips, both for eating in town and for visiting the monasteries

This hotel is located in the beautiful area of Kalampaka. After checking in, we walked into town and sat amongst the locals and enjoyed cake and coffee ☕. I suggest a walk into town to soak in the culture of the Greeks

The breakfast buffet was stocked with traditional Mediterranean fare as well as American favorites. It should be noted that the room and bathroom are a bit tight. My opinion on the bed was it was too hard for me

The hotel is really well furnished, and has parking space. Close to many restaurants, bars and shops. The breakfast was fine, having several options like salad, warm food, desserts, drinks, and pastries.

Polite staff, modern spotlessly clean rooms and rich breakfast. The hotel has two swimming pools, one outdoor and one indoor, and a pool bar that had a variety of drinks and food

I will add that others in the group found the bed comfortable. I recommend bringing water as the rooms do not have water bottles and there are no coffee machines

Somehow something about the hotel just put me at peace and made me feel comfortable. I’m not sure why but it did it for me. Breakfast was good and so was the coffee that they provided

Great location, wonderful service, rooms are fully equipped and very clean. Parking is not very big, however we could easily find a place

This place is the cutest little hotel at the foot of the mountains. Things started off really well when the receptionist welcomed us like we were old friends

Great location, 10 minutes walk from the first Meteora church Saint Nicholas. 30 minutes walk from closest big city Kalambaka. Super quite and calm area. Tasty family restaurant in 100 meters.

Breakfast not included (rare for 4stars hotel). At breakfast some tables were not available but not signaled appropriate and some tension with the customers emerged. Nice personnel at reception desk, great location

She explained everything to us and even showed us our room and gave us options. The room was comfortable and spacious and even tho it was a bit of a trip back in time everything was very clean and worked well

Rooms are nice inside and most of them have a great view in Meteora. They have free waters and a coffee machine providing new cups every day. I would definitely like to see more effort regarding detailed cleaning

The breakfast was nice with a good variety of food but nothing special. The swimming pool area is very nice but the swimming pool needs to be cleaned in many places. Definitely a place to recommend at the end of the day

We had a family room this time with two separate bedrooms ( without doors that could be closed, but it did not bother us). The swimming pool has the same view, but a bit too cold to have a swim in October 😜

Great view. Friendly staff. Breakfast with different Greek cakes. Sit outside in the evening with a cool breeze while looking at the mountains slowly changing colour.

The bubble bath in the room made up for that! Walking distance to the town. Breakfast buffet offered a large choice of Greek and western items

We paid for a room, they provided us a small apartment! We really love that place. :) The staff is very friendly, the room is comfortable and the location is super! the breakfast is good and tasty

We were with a dog (labrador) and paid 12 € per night for it. Recommend this lovely place - very close to the main street, free parking, good atmosphere and nice view

The hotel is clean, the rooms a little noisy, but the thing I liked most was the service and expecially the meals. Dinner and breakfast (self service) were really very very good, rich in quantity and in quality

Very small room, although very clean. The shower curtain didn't close properly. Comfortable bed and clean, fragrant sheets. Really great food, delicious dinner as well as breakfast.

Wonderful and kind staff, cozy bed, but the room had no balcony and it was above the ventilation so I couldn't sleep all night. Also chicken gyros that was served for dinner wasn't fresh, it was from day before.

I’m a grumpster if I am not comfortable, and I will make it known. Yeah, I am that guy you probably don’t like. Anyhoo, these guys were stellar in every way

It's just good to keep in mind if this is a leg of your trip. All that said I would definitely stay here again! Breakfast was delicious and something I really looked forward to having in the mornings there

We had a very nice stay. Upon arrival we received juice and a cold towel. Staff was very polite. We really loved the view. The food was great! We had a lovely stay.

Very convenient to the monasteries, about a 10 min drive and walkable to lots of restaurants and shops. Lots of outdoor seating areas. Parking onsite with plenty of room for all guests

Although having looked around a lot at this particular area for a hotel stay, I'd say it is probably 4-stars for the area and based on hotels available in the area

Really good location. On the beginning of the trail up the cliffs. Good if you are looking fir a pastoral, quite and chilled time. Nice rooms! We got a big and clean room with balcony to the cliffs.

Fantastic stay. Comfortable room with super comfy bed. Great view of the mountains. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. Be sure to ask about the local wines. Top accomodation choice in Greece!

The most scenic hotel of our stay in Greece. Rooms are large, all have great views, balconies on the back have incredible ones. Beautiful building, town and scenery. Would stay there again tomorrow.

Very nice hotel, with many rooms looking towards Meteora offering a great view. The room service is very good and ideal for resting and even a drink on the balcony. Good prices too.

Nice hotel with clean rooms. It is near to the Meteora and you can go to some monasteries by walking on a paved way.

The bathroom is so tiny, the shower doesn't have the curtains long enough, so be prepared to have the floor in the bathroom flooded :-), don't worry, though, there is a drain in the middle of the room, and you don't flood the folks on the prev floor

Nearby restaurants are at your convenience, oh so tasty! The staff is friendly. BTW they speak Romanian along with English

We had a beautiful cozy room on the top floor. Location of the hotel is perfect. Just 8 min walk from central station. The view was amazing

The hotel is located in the center of the town. It is very easy to reach the bus station, information, and the restaurants nearby. A grocery store is just next door

There are some nice eateries in the area and it's a great location to explore from

Our room was slightly small and cozy but otherwise, comfortable and clean. The balcony was lovely with a great view over the town and with the meteora rocks a surreal looming presence

We really enjoyed sitting there with a bottle of wine in the evening. We actually appreciated the service not being too overwhelming like some of the places we stayed in Greece

this is a good place to stay close to some nice restaurants and the plus is they have a multiple sockets good for smart phones and laptops.

There is a vending machine in case you wish to purchase some water, drinks or snacks. Plenty of space to park, in case you have your car. Last but not least, the staff is very kind and helpful

Beautiful and serene stay in a location with easy access to hiking trails and an unbeatable view of Meteora. There's a subtly sweet aroma permeating the place. It feels like a cozy countryside home

Warm and comfortable rooms, with a beautiful view of the monasteries and rock pillars of Meteora. We went to the Bakery and small shops nearby to get pastries and yogurt for a picnic breakfast up on the rocks.

If you feel like staying in for a day - there is a big smart TV if you wish to check on your Netflix series. Breakfast is available on site, prior reservation is required

There's a wide field in front of the balcony that provides an unblocked view of the rocks Furthermore the family running the place was delightful and helpful

I had checked in this hotel through my tours. Dinner was good and staff is helpful when I need something. It is nearby central town. Very decent and nice hotel to stay. It has nice views of mountains.

Breakfast and dinner were both wonderful. The two men who worked around the hotel and in the restaurant were amazing and worked very hard. My only complaint would be that the WiFi did not work in the rooms

We stayed here during a tour with Exoticca. Our rooms were lovely and very clean. The bathrooms were spacious and we had nice balconies. We slept very comfortably! We really enjoyed the restaurant

We stayed in this hotel for one night as a part of our tour to Meteora. Our room was fine, had a nicely renovated bathroom and a view on Meteora. The buffet dinner and breakfast were both good. Nothing to complain about!

Room was clean and tidy, had everything that it needed for a single night. We arrived to late to use the pool, but it looked pretty nice as well, be cool if it stayed open a little later, but it wasn't a big deal

Make sure to ask for the ones facing the rocks. Very good location, handy for restaurants and bars. Walking distance to train station and bus stop. They are eager to help when needed

The monasteries truly have to be seen to see some unbelievable buildings, and to be lucky enough to actually visit one was a special experience. The night-life provided some nice restaurants, and dancing venues

Pros The place was spotless! I spend just 1 night before going to the monasteries in Meteora. But I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice view of the monasteries with clean and comfortable spaces

What a view! It's a lovely new secluded,quiet and beautiful hotel. It has an extensive breakfast in a large well decorated breakfast room. We had a room with a balcony that looked at the meteora

The bar and kitchen offered me lots of options to eat and drink. Cons WiFi is not reliable at all so I would not recommend it if you want to work from here

I stayed at this hotel to use it as a starting point for my visit to Meteora. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The owners run the hotel with a lot of passion and take very good care of their guests

The hotel is in Kalambaka but in Kastraki (which is closer to Meteora). The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was simple but good! We could see the rock formations right from our balcony

Parking is free and fuss free. Shower area was a bit strange with two levels in the bathtub and the water pressure was slightly weak

Also's house is a great location to walk to town or take the foot path up to the Holy Trinity monastery. Our room was comfortable clean and had amazing views

How I loved my stay at Alsos House. The staff were welcoming and accommodated our every wish. Other guests were friendly. The grand rocks were just outside our window to marvel at. Anne and Ange from Australia.

Alsos house was a really good place to stay. It was spacious,quiet and clean and within walking distance of Kalabaka township. I would highly recommend this place.

However my room was outdated and the bathroom was very dark and shower did not work properly. But I understand they are currently renovating/updating the rooms. Overall a good hotel for 1 night stay

The staff are amazing! Lovely rooms. We were booked here with the Get your guide tour group, and booked on the 1st floor, I’m sure the other floors have better views, but still beautiful.
