Hotels with pool in Kalambaka

We liked the location and nice big rooms and balcony with a view. It was comfortable to get a rest after sightseeing. The only trouble was that the hotel is pretty big and there were several big groups at the same time

The front desk staff are friendly and will provide Sky City tour maps and tell you where to watch the sunset. The hotel has complete facilities, including a large outdoor swimming pool

The restaurant provides a buffet in the evening with a rich menu and the breakfast is also very good. The room is larger, with a large balcony, complete facilities, clean and quiet

There are 6-8 tour buses every day during the few days of stay, which are two-day tour groups from various places to Kalambaka, so the breakfast and buffet dinner will be crowded

The hotel is located outside Kalambaka Town, 5-6km away, suitable for self-driving tourists. There is a large courtyard in front of the hotel for parking

So no chance for a personal cosy breakfast or dinner. But we definitely recommend this hotel as it is one of the best at this place

Overall, property is comfortable enough and is a great base from which to explore Meteora. There is an outdoor pool, and the setting is very 60s Europe, which is a quaint little touch to have

Overall it was ok, but I was not satisfied with the assigned rooms 331 and 333. The boiler room was outside the window, blocking the view. There were not many people in the hotel, and the front desk was a little careless

We arrived at the hotel about 7 30pm. So we didn't use the inviting pool as the sun was down. Staff met us and helped us into the lobby. The hotel is huge with lots of places to just sit and enjoy the view 😍

Good service from the staffs who provide information about local attractions, transports etc. The hotel is a bit old, but clean and still the best choice in Meteora if you are looking for a standard 4 stars hotel.

The room is small but warm, the indoor temperature is just right in winter, the breakfast is very good, the waiter is hospitable and very nice, and hot water is provided in the hotel lobby

As a bonus, there is a pool to relax in while taking in the view. As for location, it’s about a 20-minute walk to restaurants in Kastraki and just a quick taxi ride to central Kalambaka

The inside was nice, the rooms were alright. Bed was a little small for me. It was like sleeping on a pallet. The view was stunning and the swimming pool great

The breakfast with the most amazing view was a standout: Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, pastries, and hot options, plus delicious lattes to start the morning right

The hotel is happy to call a taxi for you, and taxis are easy to find in town—we paid less than 5 euros per ride

Hotel is fine. Nice view and pool. However, shower is not practical and no WiFi in rooms.

The restaurant is one of the best in the area and it did not disappoint (breakfast was included and we also had a fabulous dinner there). We even loved the playlist/music that was playing in the background

We visited Meteora as a side trip from Athens on a family vacation. The staff was welcoming and the food options were great

The hotel is located in the centre of Kalambaka. We had a very nice room with an amazing view to the Meteora Mountains from the huge balcony. The room was nicely furnished and the bathroom had a bath tube

The facilities are very good value for the price, but what is invaluable is the outstanding service. Gina at the front desk gave us precious tips, both for eating in town and for visiting the monasteries

Great value for money! Located right in the center of Meteora, surrounded by bars and restaurants and a beautiful view of the mountains, we had room 408 which had a big terrace with great views.

Wonderful and kind staff, cozy bed, but the room had no balcony and it was above the ventilation so I couldn't sleep all night. Also chicken gyros that was served for dinner wasn't fresh, it was from day before.

At no time, the person in charge of the dining room was able to draw their attention or those in charge of the group so that they would not disturb the rest of custumers

Check in was smooth. Receptionist was very friendly, gave us recommendations and highlighted to us the monasteries in the area. There were space for car parking. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was decent.

The hotel is located in the center of the town. It is very easy to reach the bus station, information, and the restaurants nearby. A grocery store is just next door

I had checked in this hotel through my tours. Dinner was good and staff is helpful when I need something. It is nearby central town. Very decent and nice hotel to stay. It has nice views of mountains.

The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable, breakfast had many choices. The best part was the large pool, since we were there during a heat wave. It's a one minute walk to the main street

From there, you can find lots of stores and restaurants

A small hotel for the general public, with good value for money

I originally thought the hotel was pretty good, as I could see the hanging monastery, but soon after I entered the room, I was hit by a flying insect, not a mosquito. When I got up, I felt itchy and bumpy

How I loved my stay at Alsos House. The staff were welcoming and accommodated our every wish. Other guests were friendly. The grand rocks were just outside our window to marvel at. Anne and Ange from Australia.

Clean and spacious family-run hotel. We got an upgrade with extra bedroom complimentary. Great location with a beautiful view of the rock pinnacle in front of our room. Good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.

Great service, breakfast was reasonably priced yet very tasty. Stayed in the 3-person room which was large enough for us with a good aesthetic with comfy beds. Bathroom was small, even by Greek standards, yet manageable.

Alsos house was a really good place to stay. It was spacious,quiet and clean and within walking distance of Kalabaka township. I would highly recommend this place.

Also's house is a great location to walk to town or take the foot path up to the Holy Trinity monastery. Our room was comfortable clean and had amazing views

The elegant and spacious Deluxe rooms of our apartment #504 were designed to exceed our expectations. The friendly staff, delicious food, cristal clear pool filled with comfortable shezlongs and umbrellas are a bonus

The monasteries truly have to be seen to see some unbelievable buildings, and to be lucky enough to actually visit one was a special experience. The night-life provided some nice restaurants, and dancing venues

The location half way to the Meteora, the view of Meteora in one side and the beautiful sunsets over Pineios River Valley give this place an added value that can rarely be found in other hotels

We stayed a week in this magnificient, luxurious and welcoming Famissi Eden Hotel at the new hotel wth 9 apartaments

The whole town was great, and all of us on tour went away with great memories

In a very good location, only 8-10 min drive from the monasteries, wonderful views from the balcony, very friendly and respectful staff 👍🏻 There was no parking lot, but there was plenty of free parking just a few meters away

You can easily hike to the Meteora monastery areas or take a very short drive to get there. The room itself was fairly basic, AC was old and not strong, the bed was kind of hard, and the wifi was not great

The hotel has a warm, family-run atmosphere, but it's quite outdated, and the breakfast is very basic, with no vegetables. It's suitable for those looking for a budget-friendly option and just a place to sleep

The towels were stiff and the lady did not want to replace it. (Later they were replaced) The breakfast was fine

Hotel Meteora was a bless to stay in. The rooms were quiet, modern and well equipped. The bathroom very clean and beautiful authentic finish. Dimitris' hospitality is the biggest plus of this hotel

We absoultely loved this place. The view of the meteora rock from here is awesome and welcome warm and nice. We were lucky to be one of the first guest of the new rooms of the structure and of the new pool

The lawn is a pool now, but was not finished when we were there. All in all a great place to stay

Large room, comfy bed, patio overlooking pool and Meteora. Buffet breakfast with hot and cold assortments. 15 minute drive from the monasteries. Definitely the best place to stay in the area.

Excellent guesthouse at Kalabaka, just 5 mins walk from the station, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful! The room are in modern style with a great view! They provide handmade cake and pie for the breakfast, highly recommended and will definitely come again!

We spent 3 fantastic days in Monastiri guesthouse

Friendly, large family room and super host. Not everything was ready at the hotel and internet was out, but the owner made up to it with a delicious pie. Location is just south of the train station

I do understand people that get late doesn't have the same experience and must call for a 4 digits code to get the key. well I had this in Switzerland that's not terrible. We had the chance to have the upstairs rooms too

It's an old small house but really what I love. Beautiful and with an amazing situation. If you are a climber it's a great starting point. The breakfast is not the ultimate experience of breakfast but it's ok

You literally wake up at the foot of a giant vertical Rock. The sunrises are absolutely stunning. We had wonderful breakfasts and chatted with the hostess and her husband. Such beautiful welcoming people

Been here with my Family for 2 days in the summer of 2017. Stayed at the separate cottage, and it was just wonderful. The hotel is pretty close to the Monasteries, and the location itself is mesmerizing

Remember to check out the small tiny balcony with amazing view. Winter can be a little bit cold but it is almost perfect time to enjoy the peaceful quiet Meteora

A wonderful quiet hotel with a swimming pool and pleasant music, where we stayed twice during the trip to Corfu and back. Clean rooms, a beautiful surrounding area, delicious breakfast and friendly staff.

Rooms are basic on the equipement side but spotless clean, big enough with terrace, cool, beds are comfortable. There is a big pool which is open to public and thus always lively wirh friendly service

The furniture is a bit old but ok. Breakfast could be better. The service at the pool is perfect and the views to Meteora are splendid.

A nice and local hotel with very kind owners. The rooms are simple Greek rooms, but have great air conditioning and are very clean. There is an enormous pool if you know that there are only seven rooms in the hotel

Room is a fine size, not too big. Breakfast is rather poor but you can find stuff to eat. The staff are nice, pool is very nice if the weather allows. Cleaning seems fine all throughout the lodge

Our stay at Chrysorama was nothing short of perfect. The room was large, comfortable and very clean with a magnificent view from the balcony

Note that there are no elevators in this guesthouse. You'll need to carry the luggages up the stairs (from outside of the guesthouse going in and another flight of stairs if room is located on the upper floor)

Otherwise I don't think we would have had the opportunity as the guesthouse was not available for online booking during the Christmas week. This is a warm and cozy guesthouse and we would come back here again

We stayed here overnight during our visit to Meteora (which by the way means suspended in the air or lofty in Greek). In any case, this is a lovely, charming hotel. Our room was well decorated and spotless

I think we were the only group staying in the guesthouse plus one other couple. There is a restaurant next door but apart from that, it is quite a walk to Kalambaka town (not really advisable in the cold)

We spent our first night in Greece here and we all had a good sleep. The room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Everything was nice and clean. The heater worked well and kept us all warm and cozy
