Best Hotels in Kalambaka

The restaurant provides a buffet in the evening with a rich menu and the breakfast is also very good. The room is larger, with a large balcony, complete facilities, clean and quiet

So no chance for a personal cosy breakfast or dinner. But we definitely recommend this hotel as it is one of the best at this place

We liked the location and nice big rooms and balcony with a view. It was comfortable to get a rest after sightseeing. The only trouble was that the hotel is pretty big and there were several big groups at the same time

The front desk staff are friendly and will provide Sky City tour maps and tell you where to watch the sunset. The hotel has complete facilities, including a large outdoor swimming pool

There are 6-8 tour buses every day during the few days of stay, which are two-day tour groups from various places to Kalambaka, so the breakfast and buffet dinner will be crowded

The hotel is located outside Kalambaka Town, 5-6km away, suitable for self-driving tourists. There is a large courtyard in front of the hotel for parking

The breakfast was nice with a good variety of food but nothing special. The swimming pool area is very nice but the swimming pool needs to be cleaned in many places. Definitely a place to recommend at the end of the day

The views are absolutely stunning—some of the best I’ve seen. Staff were friendly and genuinely accommodating

Rooms are nice inside and most of them have a great view in Meteora. They have free waters and a coffee machine providing new cups every day. I would definitely like to see more effort regarding detailed cleaning

We had a family room this time with two separate bedrooms ( without doors that could be closed, but it did not bother us). The swimming pool has the same view, but a bit too cold to have a swim in October 😜

The rooms were clean, the bathrooms recently updated, and while the beds weren’t the most plush, I still slept well after a long day of exploring

As a bonus, there is a pool to relax in while taking in the view. As for location, it’s about a 20-minute walk to restaurants in Kastraki and just a quick taxi ride to central Kalambaka

Friendly personell, great Breakfast (7Euro), very good room with nice balcony facing Meteora. Good bed. Plus for many powerpoints Very affordable, good value for money!

The facilities are very good value for the price, but what is invaluable is the outstanding service. Gina at the front desk gave us precious tips, both for eating in town and for visiting the monasteries

The hotel is located in the centre of Kalambaka. We had a very nice room with an amazing view to the Meteora Mountains from the huge balcony. The room was nicely furnished and the bathroom had a bath tube

The window opens to a beautiful mountain view with a small garden. The breakfast yogurt with honey is delicious. There are many varieties, most of which are freshly made. The chirping of insects and birds is very rustic

We had a brief but memorable stay at Doupiani House. After the long drive from Athens, we loved the serenity of the hotel grounds and the gorgeous view of the Meteora cliffs from our balcony

At breakfast the following morning, everything was fresh and tasty. Visiting the monasteries was easy as they are a very short drive away and the staff helped us plan our itinerary

Kalambaka is worth visiting. The hotel has convenient parking, is friendly and warm, has a good breakfast, is conveniently located, has comfortable rooms and fresh air. It is recommended to stay. Kalambaka is not bad.

Excellent stay of 1 night at this hotel! Staff was very helpful in letting us know the opening days of the monasteries, how to get there and the bus availability to leave the city! I enjoyed every minute of my stay there and especially the breakfast! Only negative thing is the bath that is half

Check in was smooth. Receptionist was very friendly, gave us recommendations and highlighted to us the monasteries in the area. There were space for car parking. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was decent.

She explained everything to us and even showed us our room and gave us options. The room was comfortable and spacious and even tho it was a bit of a trip back in time everything was very clean and worked well

The Hotel had amazing views of Meteora. We were taken around the monastery’s by a private driver named Panos set up by the hotel. He had tremendous knowledge of the history and knew incredible places to eat

Really good location. On the beginning of the trail up the cliffs. Good if you are looking fir a pastoral, quite and chilled time. Nice rooms! We got a big and clean room with balcony to the cliffs.

The most scenic hotel of our stay in Greece. Rooms are large, all have great views, balconies on the back have incredible ones. Beautiful building, town and scenery. Would stay there again tomorrow.

Great location in a quiet area with ample parking. The room is clean, cosy, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the staff provided impeccable service

The restaurant is one of the best in the area and it did not disappoint (breakfast was included and we also had a fabulous dinner there). We even loved the playlist/music that was playing in the background

Superb hotel situated very close to the Meteora monasteries. Staff were all engaging, polite & cheerful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast offering was very good quality

The evening restaurant menu was a delightful variance on typical Greek menus and the food was super quality. The decor in the room was classy and the bathroom smart. Only slight downside was the size of the room

Only thing is I wish they would take care of the cats, meaning they would neuter them because they are too skinny and there were many of them, I loved feeding them but I wonder who takes care of them otherwise

It is not on the central street of Kalambaka, but Kalambaka is small and safe, so walking, walking and eating is just a good way to see the local life and environment

Visiting Meteora was amazing. This was out of the main town by 5 minute drive but the whole city is small. The cliff are right outside your room. Very very clean and new bathroom!! Highly recommend.

Great value hotel perfect if you are in and out of meteora to sight see. No frills but clean, great shower and very economical. No market or tavern really close but everything you need is under 5 minutes in a car.

Alsos house was a really good place to stay. It was spacious,quiet and clean and within walking distance of Kalabaka township. I would highly recommend this place.

It is located in the quieter and more secluded village of Kastraki than Kalambaka, and the Meteora Monastery is just a short walk away. All the staff were very friendly and made my stay comfortable.

The front desk can speak English, which makes communication easy. There is breakfast with a wide variety. There is a small supermarket, restaurant, and coffee shop at the door, which is very convenient

The Meteoris was a very good option for our visit to the Monasteries. Staff is very welcoming and offers maps and suggestions for the visit. Rooms are very clean and AC is great!

Very nice hotel There is a balcony with a great view outside. There is a parking lot, but it's a bit winding. It took me a long time to find it the first time

The hotel front desk also recommended several places to visit and eat, which are all very good and practical~~

However my room was outdated and the bathroom was very dark and shower did not work properly. But I understand they are currently renovating/updating the rooms. Overall a good hotel for 1 night stay

Clean rooms and the hotel is very close to the center of kalabaka. The prices are normal. I think it is a good choice for one or two nights

This hotel in Trikala is really nice although a bit dated but that was not a problem for us. The staff is very friendly and well-mannered. For sure we will visit again when we look for a hotel in Trikala

A Christmas visit to the city of Trikala is all the hipe! And Ntinas Hotel found in the middle of the town was perfectly suited for our purposes as it's just a walking distance from restaurants, shops and the "Elf village"

Other than finding a parking space in a packed already city center there is nothing negative I could say for our visit

Cosy rooms with heating and a/c, hot water all day long, a clean-clean room, a comfy bed, friendly staff and a nice breakfast in the morning. Was all we needed to get us energised for a mountainous day trip

The breakfast was pretty poor and we just had cereal both days. The location is about 30 min drive to Meteora and 15 min drive to the town of Trikala so you would definitely need a car. The room price was very good value
