Friendly staff and nice environment

Lovely hotel with great rooms & style. Just keep in mind it is not next to Meteora & you will ned a car to get there. However, when you have a rental car it is super convenient

We liked the location and nice big rooms and balcony with a view. It was comfortable to get a rest after sightseeing. The only trouble was that the hotel is pretty big and there were several big groups at the same time. So no chance for a personal cosy breakfast or dinner. But we definitely recommend this hotel as it is one of the best at this place.

Everything is OK. It's just that it's a bit far from town and you need to use a car.

Overall it was ok, but I was not satisfied with the assigned rooms 331 and 333. The boiler room was outside the window, blocking the view. There were not many people in the hotel, and the front desk was a little careless. I only stayed for one day, so I was too lazy to care.

Checked in during the off-season, and upgraded the room by two levels, which was very considerate. The room has a view of the boulder, and it only takes ten minutes to drive to the observation deck. The facilities are very new and clean. Very satisfied.

The hotel is in a good location and has a parking lot. Although it is an old hotel, the facilities are well maintained. The room is large, the sound insulation is not very good, the breakfast is rich, and the overall price/performance ratio is good.

Good service from the staffs who provide information about local attractions, transports etc. The hotel is a bit old, but clean and still the best choice in Meteora if you are looking for a standard 4 stars hotel.

The room is small but warm, the indoor temperature is just right in winter, the breakfast is very good, the waiter is hospitable and very nice, and hot water is provided in the hotel lobby. I will stay here again next time!

We went as a church group. The inside was nice, the rooms were alright. Bed was a little small for me. It was like sleeping on a pallet. The view was stunning and the swimming pool great. As a vegetarian there were enough choices for me to choose from. Everyone was nice and accommodating.

The hotel is located in the centre of Kalambaka. We had a very nice room with an amazing view to the Meteora Mountains from the huge balcony. The facilities are very good value for the price, but what is invaluable is the outstanding service. Gina at the front desk gave us precious tips, both for eating in town and for visiting the monasteries. 100% recommended.

Great value for money! Located right in the center of Meteora, surrounded by bars and restaurants and a beautiful view of the mountains, we had room 408 which had a big terrace with great views.

Good enough, the showers are too small, too little room for four persons in one room

We paid for a room, they provided us a small apartment! We really love that place. :) The staff is very friendly, the room is comfortable and the location is super! the breakfast is good and tasty. We were with a dog (labrador) and paid 12 € per night for it. Recommend this lovely place - very close to the main street, free parking, good atmosphere and nice view.

At diner time, there was an unbearable noise generated by a group of young people. At no time, the person in charge of the dining room was able to draw their attention or those in charge of the group so that they would not disturb the rest of custumers. It sems to me lack of responsability of the hotel to allow these type of situación.

Wonderful and kind staff, cozy bed, but the room had no balcony and it was above the ventilation so I couldn't sleep all night. Also chicken gyros that was served for dinner wasn't fresh, it was from day before.

Great location, 10 minutes walk from the first Meteora church Saint Nicholas. 30 minutes walk from closest big city Kalambaka. Super quite and calm area. Tasty family restaurant in 100 meters.

Really enjoyed our 3-night stay here! The rooms are comfortable and decorated by theatrical performance titles. We stayed in Fiddler on the Roof and our friends were in the Sound of Music. 3-star hotel would be a more appropriate rating overall I think specifically for the rooms. I would stay here again. Perfect location. Walkable to all attractions. Fantastic staff- they helped us book taxis when needed and even brought us a takeaway breakfast box when we were checking out before the breakfast buffet started. Nice hotel with clean rooms. It is near to the Meteora and you can go to some monasteries by walking on a paved way.

Very clean place, the staff was very friendly, they have even some little birds at the reception that you can admire and listen. You can include a breakfast for your stay and they will treat you with delicious and varied food. The surrounding is fantastic!

Not cheap but reasonable for nice rooms based on the area

this is a good place to stay close to some nice restaurants and the plus is they have a multiple sockets good for smart phones and laptops.

The hotel is located in the center of the town. It is very easy to reach the bus station, information, and the restaurants nearby. A grocery store is just next door. Speaking of service, the staff are very friendly and the room is clean and fantastic with the view the mountains.

Beautiful and serene stay in a location with easy access to hiking trails and an unbeatable view of Meteora. There's a subtly sweet aroma permeating the place. It feels like a cozy countryside home. Warm and comfortable rooms, with a beautiful view of the monasteries and rock pillars of Meteora. We went to the Bakery and small shops nearby to get pastries and yogurt for a picnic breakfast up on the rocks.

This place has such a grand feel especially when you can sit on your balcony and look at the majestic views of Meteora and the surrounding town! There's quite a few facilities/activities to do in this hotel. Rooms were spacious and felt complete and the balconies weren't small and felt comfortable to hang around

Our room has a great view of the mountains in Meteora. However, the bathtub only has a half size glass door resulting in water splattering all over the floor after a shower. Buffet dinner was just so so but the dessert choices were quite limited

Disappointed that a 5 star hotel feels the need to charge to use the pool. Have never ever before experienced this. Service at meals was not good and they continually ran out of food so you were always waiting for buffet to be replenished. But very nice rooms in a great locality.

The Hotel is excellent. The rooms are spotless clean , very comfortable , the bathrooms are well stocked and there is everything you need and enjoy a nice shower. Love the shower head. Fantastic view from my room. The hotel had a lot of guest during my our stay but they were fast and efficient during check in and check out. Food was decent although a little pricey for what they have.

Stayed here as part of a two day guided tour of Delphi and meteora. Great service. In house food was good. Location was very good with great views. In room lighting could be less bright white lighting and more relaxing amber

Alsos house was a really good place to stay. It was spacious,quiet and clean and within walking distance of Kalabaka township. I would highly recommend this place.

I would venture to say that there is not a better place to stay than here when visiting Meteora. Easy check-in, reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. About a 15 minute drive from Alsos to Holy Trinity monastery parking. The picture of the house is actually from Holy Trinity.

It is far away from the city center. The view is nice but realized that you can see Meteora from almost anywhere in the city. The personal doesn't speak good English. 50 minutes walking trail to one of the monastery. Looks renovated but they painted over electrical outlets and tv stands in a hurry. Just after entering the town, it is an old hotel with old facilities, but clean and sanitary. It is rare to have three beds that can sleep a family of four. The service staff are also very enthusiastic.

A lovely family hotel. Very friendly atmosphere. The whole town was great, and all of us on tour went away with great memories. The monasteries truly have to be seen to see some unbelievable buildings, and to be lucky enough to actually visit one was a special experience. Very beautiful hotel for 3 star rating. Extremely decorative with paintings, photos and statues . Located on the Main Street and amazing views of the Meteora Monastery.
