Kalambaka, National Rd, Trikala - Ioannina 🧭 Map
Overall it was ok, but I was not satisfied with the assigned rooms 331 and 333. The boiler room was outside the window, blocking the view. There were not many people in the hotel, and the front desk was a little careless. I only stayed for one day, so I was too lazy to care.
Clean room, convenient parking, great location
The room is big and the view is beautiful
Breakfast is rich but crowded
Checked in during the off-season, and upgraded the room by two levels, which was very considerate. The room has a view of the boulder, and it only takes ten minutes to drive to the observation deck. The facilities are very new and clean. Very satisfied.
The hotel is in a good location and has a parking lot. Although it is an old hotel, the facilities are well maintained. The room is large, the sound insulation is not very good, the breakfast is rich, and the overall price/performance ratio is good.
Good service from the staffs who provide information about local attractions, transports etc.
The hotel is a bit old, but clean and still the best choice in Meteora if you are looking for a standard 4 stars hotel.
The room is small but warm, the indoor temperature is just right in winter, the breakfast is very good, the waiter is hospitable and very nice, and hot water is provided in the hotel lobby. I will stay here again next time!

Friendly staff and nice environment
Lovely hotel with great rooms & style. Just keep in mind it is not next to Meteora & you will ned a car to get there. However, when you have a rental car it is super convenient
We liked the location and nice big rooms and balcony with a view. It was comfortable to get a rest after sightseeing. The only trouble was that the hotel is pretty big and there were several big groups at the same time. So no chance for a personal cosy breakfast or dinner. But we definitely recommend this hotel as it is one of the best at this place.
Everything is OK. It's just that it's a bit far from town and you need to use a car.
The hotel is located outside Kalambaka Town, 5-6km away, suitable for self-driving tourists. There is a large courtyard in front of the hotel for parking. The front desk staff are friendly and will provide Sky City tour maps and tell you where to watch the sunset. The hotel has complete facilities, including a large outdoor swimming pool. The restaurant provides a buffet in the evening with a rich...
The environment is very beautiful, the bathroom is relatively new and clean. There are not many places to eat around, but it is more convenient to have a car. It is an ideal hotel to go to Sky City.

Hotel Kosta Famissi is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Meteora. The location is perfect—close to everything and ideal for exploring the area. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and make your stay comfortable. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a relaxing environment after a long day of sightseeing.
Overall, a great stay. Highly recommended
Overall the hotel is fine. The rooms are slightly outdated but comfortable. The decorations at the entrance and in the restaurant can be considered kitch, but is a matter of taste. The location is great, especially if you have a view over the Meteora. Biggest downside is that it is extremely noisy with groups leaving for tours at 06:00. Shouting in the hallway slamming doors. Some people really lack...
We stayed in a very clean room with a full view of the Meteora! The airconditioner worked perfectly and the mattress and pillows were most comfortable. It was a pleasant surprise to find an iron in the cupboard which was very convenient . Breakfast was great and dinner was even better with a variety of greek traditional dishes. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. Thank you for making our stay...
The property is in a very good location. The views are beautiful. There are plenty of restaurants and town centre minutes away.
The room we stayed in was on level 4. The view was directly at Meteora. The room was very clean, with spacious bathroom and shower. The AC is working perfectly. The beds are clean and very comfortable to sleep on.
Staff at the front desk, both day and night shift, are amazing...
At our round trip we did look forward to this location in Kalambaka. The surroundings are breath taking. The location of the hotel is good right at the entrance of Kalambaka, but to be honest, the hotel itself was disappointing. At our arrival at the end of the afternoon we were welcomed by a female receptionist with the name Antigoni. She was very helpful and very service minded. A big compliment...
Although this hotel was arranged for us by a tour agency as a 4-star accommodation, the experience was very positive. The staff were exceptionally kind to me and my daughter, graciously honoring our only request for a better view of the fascinating Meteora landscape — and they delivered a wonderful view. The room was clean, though a bit small, but the bedding and towels were soft and high-quality,...

This place has such a grand feel especially when you can sit on your balcony and look at the majestic views of Meteora and the surrounding town! There's quite a few facilities/activities to do in this hotel.
Rooms were spacious and felt complete and the balconies weren't small and felt comfortable to hang around
Our room has a great view of the mountains in Meteora. However, the bathtub only has a half size glass door resulting in water splattering all over the floor after a shower. Buffet dinner was just so so but the dessert choices were quite limited
Disappointed that a 5 star hotel feels the need to charge to use the pool. Have never ever before experienced this. Service at meals was not good and they continually ran out of food so you were always waiting for buffet to be replenished.
But very nice rooms in a great locality.
The Hotel is excellent. The rooms are spotless clean , very comfortable , the bathrooms are well stocked and there is everything you need and enjoy a nice shower. Love the shower head. The employees are very friendly, the view is gorgeous . The highlight was the best massage I ever had. Achilles is very skilled in getting the knots out, very professional, friendly and communicated well in English
Fantastic view from my room. The hotel had a lot of guest during my our stay but they were fast and efficient during check in and check out. Food was decent although a little pricey for what they have.
Stayed here as part of a two day guided tour of Delphi and meteora. Great service. In house food was good. Location was very good with great views. In room lighting could be less bright white lighting and more relaxing amber

Stayed in this hotel with a group. Room: basic and needs uplift desperately Bed is soft, poor lightings. Reception: good manners and kind Restaurant: good efficient waiters, Buffet dinner good choice of food. Replenish quickly Bar - man by one staff who multi task as well Overall, this is a small and old hotel within good location. Price is good value. Staff are extremely friendly
It is definitely not a 4 star hotel, as we were told, but it is decent. Reception area is spacious, the room was clean but incomplete - missing the other night table. The dinner was below par, the breakfast OK. The location is near the beginning of the main street. Our room on the first floor did not have a balcony.
Good enough, the showers are too small, too little room for four persons in one room
We paid for a room, they provided us a small apartment! We really love that place. :) The staff is very friendly, the room is comfortable and the location is super! the breakfast is good and tasty. We were with a dog (labrador) and paid 12 € per night for it. Recommend this lovely place - very close to the main street, free parking, good atmosphere and nice view.
Decent accommodation, could do with some improvements on some details. The breakfast was decent as well. A fair value for money.
At diner time, there was an unbearable noise generated by a group of young people. At no time, the person in charge of the dining room was able to draw their attention or those in charge of the group so that they would not disturb the rest of custumers.
It sems to me lack of responsability of the hotel to allow these type of situación.

Buffer breakfast was excellent and great room. Relaxing style
Was greeted superbly by Sortiris. Room was nice with Meteros view, breakfast was superb, free parking at the door, everything was perfect.
I would totally recommend to stay in Theatro, the rooms are names after musicals, very cute and comfy with small balcony. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly. The outdoor swimming pool and garden looked very nice for a summer stay.
The room is small, there is no elevator and the bathroom is cold, however the service at the reception is good
This is my favorite hotel in my life travels❤️
The environment and location are very good, the staff have good service,
The breakfast is rich and varied, and both breakfasts are enjoyable.
The paid dinner is also great👍The appetizer of toast, cheese, and herb olive oil will make me remember it forever.

We stayed in this hotel for one night as a part of our tour to Meteora. Our room was fine, had a nicely renovated bathroom and a view on Meteora. The buffet dinner and breakfast were both good. Nothing to complain about!
This is a decent budget hotel. It was clean, the staff were nice, and they had a buffet available for supper and breakfast. The buffets were OK, with a good variety of stuff available. For breakfast they had eggs, ham, croissants, bread, Nutella, orange slices, peaches, and lots more. There was coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The town is small, so it's easy to walk from the hotel to the main shopping...
A small hotel for the general public, with good value for money
I originally thought the hotel was pretty good, as I could see the hanging monastery, but soon after I entered the room, I was hit by a flying insect, not a mosquito. When I got up, I felt itchy and bumpy. Another thing is that we went to take pictures of the sunrise early in the morning and then came back to rest, but a man came in twice without knocking. When he found someone inside, he closed the...
I had checked in this hotel through my tours. Dinner was good and staff is helpful when I need something. It is nearby central town. Very decent and nice hotel to stay. It has nice views of mountains.
The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable, breakfast had many choices. The best part was the large pool, since we were there during a heat wave. It's a one minute walk to the main street. From there, you can find lots of stores and restaurants. The staff was very nice.

Lenny and the rest of the staff were absolutely exceptional. The breakfast brunch was a beautiful variety of Greek and local food. The view from the hotel was exquisite the amenities around the hotel were wonderful and the atmosphere was top-notch. I would totally stay here again if I was in the Meteora area.
Best view in Kastraki. Fantastic breakfast, nearest accommodation to the monasteries and hikes. Lovely staff. Highly recommended.
Heaven on Earth
What can i say? Stayed there 4 years ago and loved it so much that i decided to return. First time was when Greece just opened after Covid. What a difference, no restrictions, it was more wonderful than before. My family said they would come back in a heartbeat. I live this place.
We had a brief but memorable stay at Doupiani House. After the long drive from Athens, we loved the serenity of the hotel grounds and the gorgeous view of the Meteora cliffs from our balcony. The staff are kind and helpful and gave us great tips for catching the sunset (the best one of our Greece trip) and for a nice traditional meal afterwards in Kastraki. At breakfast the following morning, everything...
The window opens to a beautiful mountain view with a small garden. The breakfast yogurt with honey is delicious. There are many varieties, most of which are freshly made. The chirping of insects and birds is very rustic. The faucets and shower facilities in the bathroom are old and need to be updated.
We were delighted to arrive at this beautifully appointed hotel. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The views were awe inspiring and the garden/patio areas just so lovely. Also our room was very clean and comfortable

Ok but could be better.
The hotel was nice and clean. But the air conditioning in our room and our friend’s room did not work and so it was a very uncomfortable night with not great sleep. Also there is no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs to your room which could be an issue for some people. But the breakfast was good and staff was nice.
Very accommodating and comfortable room. Seems to cater to groups so if you don't like groups this is not best for you.
The Hotel had amazing views of Meteora. We were taken around the monastery’s by a private driver named Panos set up by the hotel. He had tremendous knowledge of the history and knew incredible places to eat. We absolutely loved it. Well worth the perfect visit!
A nice hotel, quiet, helpful staff, nice breakfast, However, the ******* map location is WRONG. It is a 30 minute uphill walk from central Kalabaka, not a 5 min walk. Take a taxi for about 5 Euros.
This place is the cutest little hotel at the foot of the mountains.
Things started off really well when the receptionist welcomed us like we were old friends. She explained everything to us and even showed us our room and gave us options.
The room was comfortable and spacious and even tho it was a bit of a trip back in time everything was very clean and worked well. Somehow something about the hotel...

Good hotel, very convenient location, near restaurants, mini markets and the trail to the monasteries.
Room was nice, bed a little small for too adults (for our liking) but it was clean and the views were amazing.
Whole place smelled super nice.
Cleaning lady was very nice and recommend a place to eat that we liked a lot.
Excellent hotel located conveniently for the magnificent Meteora. Very good breakfast. Very friendly and hardworking staff. Highly recommend.
Very clean room and bathroom, spacious with a very nice view.
The lady from the reception gave us a map with the attactions and showed us what you to visit, where to see the sunset. It was a very nice stay.
The Meteoris was a very good option for our visit to the Monasteries. Staff is very welcoming and offers maps and suggestions for the visit. Rooms are very clean and AC is great!
Property was great! The only issue I had was that the beds were quite firm, so my sleep wasn't great. But no other complaints!
The view from the balcony is amazing, and the breakfast was a great plus. The room was very nice, but could use some TLC.

Just after entering the town, it is an old hotel with old facilities, but clean and sanitary. It is rare to have three beds that can sleep a family of four. The service staff are also very enthusiastic.
The hotel is relatively old, but it is still clean and the decoration is very Greek. My friend and I booked a double room, but were given a quadruple room. The receptionist who received us was very enthusiastic and told us how to go up the mountain, how to take the bus, and how to eat. This hotel is in the small town of Kalambaka. The hotel is relatively old and has been renovated for a long time. The room is also very small. The room can see the monastery in the sky. The view in the morning and evening is good.
The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the stay was very comfortable. There is a buffet in the evening
It feels relatively old-fashioned, but very comfortable and the service is very good. The scenery is especially nice. If I come again, I will most likely choose this one.

The pros: location is great and we had a balcony facing the monastery so it was a lovely view. The room and washroom were clean and the staff and food were very good.
