Brilliant hotel for everyone! Lovely food and you could always find something to eat. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and were more than happy to sterilise bottles in the microwave which was a great help. There is a little shop over the road which is reasonably priced too. Would definitely return,

Sir, I would like to express my dissatisfaction. I went to reception this Friday to exchange my beach towels. Nikos explained to me that the towels were distributed for 7 days. For a 5-star hotel, I've never seen anything like this! Furthermore, one of the towels we received was given a hole in it. This doesn't reflect well on your establishment. Sincerely, Room 133 -

For us, this hotel deserves 3.5/5. We spent good holidays but the lack of property is a shame. Walking in our room with white socks and they became black. Strong smell of garbage around the pool. Full bin not emptied… Food was good but we had the same throughout our stay. All these points didn’t spoil our vacation but it clearly can be improved. People were very kind and the upstairs pool was very nice. The surroundings of the main pool were also dirty…

would give this hotel a 3 star and thats being generous, def not a 5 star. Rooms are only cleaned every other day which i didnt feel was unacceptable seeing as its 5 star and you are advised to put toilet paper in the bathroom bin. when asked for clean towels they wern't replaced just old towels folded up as they still had makeup on them, tatty and small. Bath had a hole in it and there was limescale round shower hose and bath plug the shower rail was rusty. Food was below average very samey and not much choice ive had better food in 3 star hotels. Charged for bottled water at the bars. On a positive the entertainment staff during the day were brilliant offering yoga, water volly ball and aerobics. Wouldnt recommend

I'll focus on the positive first, the staff were all lovely and super helpful and the service we received from them could not be faulted. Unfortunately, I do not rate this as a 5* hotel and I was disappointed. The rooms felt somewhat dated and the bathrooms too, with the bath being quite marked and in need of renewal. The glazing on the bedroom door felt like a prison and made the room fully lit up every night from the hallway lights. My hope was that all would be saved by the food, but it was a very bog standard typical all inclusive buffet with very little variety each night. Perhaps I expect too much from a 5* all inclusive but I hoped to be able to have a nice glass of red at night but that wasn't to be the case. We thought we had stumbled across the lovely rooftop bar as per the pictures, only to be told the drinks were not included and were extra at this bar. Why would you do that?! The hotel is very much on the flight path from Kos airport, great for a short transfer time but can be a bit disturbing with planes going overhead all through the day. The A La Carte restaurant - main meal was nice, but the starter and dessert very much felt like it was taken from the buffet and drinks were all extra, but to be honest the red wine tasted just the same as the all inclusive red (i.e. not that nice!) It wasn't as expensive as many other 5* so I had hoped I had got a bargain but alas, you get what you pay for most of the time!

Kouros palace is a bit out the way but nice for a relaxing holiday. Family friendly the staff are very friendly. As a five star i expected a lot but in the grand scheme it was minor issues if fixed could elevate the hotel to hit the mark. As a chef the food is sub par but with lovely bar 0.4 miles away with amazing food makes up for the loss. Had a chicken gyros and a mythos (large) it was outstanding as someone who worked in greek restaurants in the uk it surpassed my expectations by far.

Some aspects of our stay were disappointing. The late check-in snack (a soggy coleslaw wrap and a banana) wasn’t appealing, with no alternative offered. Our first room smelled strongly of smoke so we got moved to another outdated room where the aircon didn't work. We moved again the following day being upgraded to a deluxe room which was very nice and had a lovely view. Deluxe definitely worth booking. A few staff members came across as offhand and unwelcoming—particularly the blonde lady at the main bar and the male manager. Cocktails were pre-made and not that nice. The walk to the hotel beach is very pleasant, it's a nice but small beach. The man managing the hotel beach was particularly rude, aggressive and made the experience uncomfortable. In a hot climate, the provision of just one small bottle of water felt inadequate—a larger option would be more practical. There was a coffee machine in the room, only two pods were provided for the entire week. WIFI is useless. We visited the à la carte restaurant once, where the food was underwhelming, and being told alcohol wasn’t included felt unnecessarily stingy. The ice cream at the pool bar also wasn’t great. That said, the entertainment was enjoyable and most of the staff were friendly and helpful just let down by a couple of individuals. The grounds are lovely ! The pools are also very good. The walk to Mastichari village is beautiful along the coast (approx 30 mins) and the beaches en route definitely worth a visit. Must visit Dolphin Bay Taverna 10 mins walk from the hotel, great spot above the beach and lovely greek salad. Few nice bars and restaurants in Mastichari itself but it seems there are only two taxi drivers.

My partner and I had a wonderful, relaxing week at this hotel. We decided to upgrade to a room with a sea view, and we ended up in room 150 which has an absolutely stunning view of the sea and some of the smaller Greek Islands. The sunsets are phenominal! The hotel is situated about 150 yards or so from the beech in an extremely quite location. There aren't any houses or anything nearby, but there is a shop on site and Mastihari is only about 3km walk away. Being so close to the airport is great for the transfer, although you are then situated under the flightpath. However, the flights coming in and going out don't seem to be all that regular, so its not a big issue. The staff are all very friendly, when we checked in, it was quite late, so we had missed dinner (which finished at about 9.30pm) but they had sandwiches and fruit waiting for us, which was a really lovely touch. One slight critique i have is that although the receptionist explained everything when we got there, our tired brains could have benefitted from a guide/booklet to explain a few bits in our room, for example how to log into the WiFi and meal times etc. Wifi was non existent in our room, we only were able to log onto it at the bar, by the pool or otherwise in the main building. So bear in mind that you may need to buy data to be able to use the internet in your room. The room we stayed in was very basic, but the shower was hot and had decent pressure. The shower is set over a corner bath, and my partner did have a bath and said it was nice and hot and didn't take too long to run. The beds are quite firm, and the covers are that satin material that just slides off. The pillows were comfy though and the air con worked so well, we had to turn it off! There was a Nespresso machine with a few pods and a normal kettle woth some teas and coffees, the shop stocks replacements. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the fresh food section is a must if you want something 'Greek' or close to it. Otherwise I would say the selection is a bit bland, I would prefer more traditional Greek cuisine rather than catering to the tourists' palatte, but that's my preference. The salads were all fresh and we had no signs of food poisoning, so that's a win in my book! The bar is well stocked with the all inclusive cocktails being very nice and not too strong. They do charge you for other drinks such as traditional cocktails and branded booze and I would prefer that they set the price lower especially if you've gone all inclusive, the price of a cocktail was about £10ish which I think is steep. The bar also have a very nice selection of cakes and biscuits which you can help yourself too. The main pool area is lovely, very clean, gorgeous veiws. I didnt go up to the smaller pool, because there was no tree cover (and I'm pasty). All in all, the location is what would bring me back here. I would say its more of an adults hotel, I wouldnt bring my kids here because i think they'd be bored, bu

Very enjoyable stay. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and well positioned close to one of the pools. The grounds of the hotel were attractive and well maintained and there was lots of space for guests around the two pools. The nearby beach was also pleasant and the beautiful sunsets were a highlight each evening. There was plenty of choice of food and drink at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the quality was always good. Car hire is the best way to explore other beaches and resorts on the island as the location is a bit removed from the main tourist areas. Excellent value for money.

I enjoyed my holiday at this hotel however there are a few negatives tea and coffee was never topped up the towels were stained and the toilet looked like it needed a good dose of bleach the cleaning could be improved.overall I would recommend the pools are nice and so was the food and the beach was lovely
