For our own apartment in a centuries-old city complex we paid very reasonable rates for a magical stay. Breakfast is provided by a cafe next door— lots of delicious choices and a lovely shaded patio to enjoy it in. Apartment has a kitchenette and nice bathroom, two AC units that kept us cool, a comfortable bed and windows with plenty of light if we wanted it. Wish we had booked more than two nights...

During our stay in the castle of Monemvasia we passed by Ritsos’ house. The house where the well-known poet lived for a large part of his life and it is fully renovated.Definitely worth to be visited if you happen to find yourself at this beautiful fortress.

You can't be in Monemvasia and not stay at Ritsos/ Malvazia hotel. We had the loft for a family of 4 and it was just perfect for out needs: quiet, very clean, everyday they tidy up our room, the breakfast was incredible. Great place Great place, super comfortable, clean and spacious. It's a kinda B&B in the old town houses. Very authentic. Breakfast is excellent in the main hotel after a 3 minute walk, which is great anyways to have in Monemvasia. Definitely recommended

Pros: Great pool, spacious modern rooms with several balconies, beautiful location. Cons: not cheap, a 5 minute drive to Monemvasia for dinner. The place was luxurious with not that many guests. We used it as a base to visit Monemvasia and Elafonisos. Fabulous seaside scenery.

I had to cancel my stay at short notice due to a health complication. Sempre Viva Suites refunded me in full even though I was outside the cancellation window and they didn’t need to. I appreciated it so much and think it is a wonderful reflection on them. We will visit next year and this hotel will be first on my list!

The suites are nicely located if you have a car as they are a 3 minutes drive from Monemvasia but also offer a pool. The suite we had was spacious for a family with 2 kids. Staff was very nice. I just wish the pool could open later than 6pm especially as sunscreen is not allowed

The scenery here is very good. It seems that the temperature is higher, but the cool breeze is very comfortable. It is really good to have a vacation. The hotel has a seawater swimming pool. The sea is just opposite the door. Even if you don't go to the sea, it is beautiful to listen to the sound of the waves at night.

As with all hotels and residences the staff here make all the difference each and every one are friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks here. It is a beautiful place to while away the hours looking out onto the fantastic monemvasia island . This place is beautiful but hard to get to one way in. Bringing a suitcase will be tough. Worth it from the peaceful and breathtaking views. Olive oil here is amazing.

Amazing place, 100% real homemade food from scratch. Family of 4 stayed for couple of nights as we’ve organised the Christening for our little one.Our event was organised outside in Olive tree garden! Kids loved it. This small hotel is conveniently located just a stone's throw from the Monemvasia peninsula. The rooms are admittedly a little outdated and could benefit from a refresh. However, we loved the peaceful surroundings and the small terrace where we enjoyed breakfast.

The rooms had some structural flaws and were not as clean as I expected. Friendly and accommodating staff, large balcony. The surroundings are not the best but passable. Free parking under the building.

If you are the sort of person who wants to enjoy a spectacular and typical Greek breakfast this is the perfect place. Katerina, the lady who manages the hotel, and her husband are very kind. Good beds, clean rooms, good swimming pool. I fully recommend this place to be with a couple or family.

We found Cyrenia guesthouse by chance. We called, arranged everything with owner Mrs. Politimi, arrived after few days. Room spotless, very big double bed with comfortable mattress and pillows. She gave us plenty of tips about the area. Highly recommended
