If you are looking for a horror movie to experience come here. When we came nothing worked , air conditioning, toilet bowl, fridge… then we changed the room, then a repairman came to fix the toilet in the middle of the day. Imagine repairman on your holiday? Food is a catastrophe… very bad … like in a prison. We paid for breakfast and diner but we choose to go out to eat because we would have got food poisoning. Receptionists are very rude. (Except Kristina she was so kind to us) everyone else seem so rude, impolite with no smile… this is the worst holiday for me. Luckily we had a car so we went out as soon as we got up. If you come here, go to Afitos beach, Aqua beach bar so you can enjoy at least on a beach . Hotel beach is not a beach. It is dirty. Everything is bad. I can not say one good thing. Location is also bad , they have stones in a water , so no one goes to this beach. People are disappointed , all I could hear was bad exerience. A lot of them went home earlier. 4*? Haha the motels look better. Pictures on website are fraud. Just don’t waste time and money here. I couldn’t wait to go come. My horror movie has just finished. Thank God

This hotel has been the worst thing I’ve ever been to. Beach is small dirty… rooms are also small and fridge doesn’t work … also toilet bowl doesn’t work. Air conditioning is poor… all in all this is our first day and it is a nightmare . I can say that motels look better. For real….. and yeah, food…. I think the worst I have ever tried , like in a prison. So run away from here before you even come.
Receptions are very rude, except Kristina she was really friendly and kind to us, but her colleagues were rude and impolite. So many thanks to Kristina, she made our holiday better because she understood how bad the situation was.
Spa? There is no spa here.
Beach? Rubbish (if you don’t have car to run away to another beach just don’t come)
Stuff in a restaurant also very rude, I found hair in a food.
All in all - you pay for prison not hotel.

The food choices were incredibly limited, with strict timings for meals that were inconvenient for travelers who wanted to explore the area or enjoy their vacation at their own pace. The menu seemed to consist of the same three or four uninspiring dishes on a daily basis, with minimal variety and a noticeable lack of meat options.

The most disheartening aspect of my stay was the attitude and behavior of the staff. I encountered impoliteness and a general lack of courtesy from several members of the hotel's team. It's disheartening to witness such unprofessionalism when you expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere during your stay.

Additionally, I couldn't help but notice that the hotel's owners seemed to prioritize cost-cutting measures over guest comfort. I observed instances where lights were being turned off to save on electricity costs, which created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming ambiance.

In summary, I regret to say that Kassandra Mare hotel is a place I would strongly advise others to avoid. This is the worst hotel you can stay in. Most of the rooms that were renovated in 1961, the beds are also from that period, so we also got one folding military bed. He is a bit older though. We paid for all inclusive, except that we have three meals, that's it. Poolside snacks are some chicken nuggets and some meatballs with fries, and that's it. There is nothing sweet for children with any meal, only fruit every day. At what time do you want him to take lunch to the other beach, they just pack what was from yesterday and give it to you. You can only get ice cream from 3-6 p.m. and it only has two flavors: vanilla and chocolate. Children are not allowed to play in front of the hotel because the owner's grandmother just sits and watches who is doing what and then rushes the staff to chase us away. Basically, you should never come here. I understand that this costs 1000 euros, so I understand, but this is too much.

First of all Kasandra Mare it's NOT Hotel doesn't deserve 4 stars, maybe if they change something only 1 !!!! We've got food poissoning or some virus we are not sure, all kids are throwing up near the restorants! Room service Disaster! This is the worst cleaning services that I have ever been! They clean our room only 2 times in 10 days, they NEVER changed our beddings. Pellows are smeels like puke!!! We sow rats and frogs in the pool! The food was every day the same! No deserts or anything special. Drinks for all inclusive hahaha joke! Very rude maids they are gossiping the guests all the time! At the reception staff always smiling but never do anything that you're asking to do. The only good thing in this hotel is the sea very clear and nice, and the staff in the restorants are very polite, always smiling and hard working. This hotel definitelly is not worth for the money!!! We will never go there again!

4 star categorization is false advertising - it does not deserve it.
“Hotel & SPA” title is false advertising if SPA is out off function for 4 years.
“Mediterranean cuisine with every day fish” means every day canned sardines of poor quality.
Paying for luxury rooms should only mean to be in bigger and better equipped rooms, not livable rooms.
You can have a lower standards but you have to be open and not deceitful with the facts. Location, nature and a pool are excellent, BUT everything else was disappointing. Rooms are outdated and ruined by time. Sheets have stains. Bathroom is falling apart and a danger to be in. Food is an absolute nightmare, specially if you stay for more than a few days because it is every day the same products and often not very tasty. It is not a buffet even if is advertised as such. It is good for loosing weight! SPA is “under renovation” for years already so it must be the best in Greece when it’s done :) No desert ever, nor after lunch, nor after dinner. Only already cut fruit (even oranges but not pealed off!) which doesn’t look fresh then when are served.
A “snack” in the afternoon is the highlight of the stay: nice quality burger, chicken nuggets or a meatloaf. The best they have. Unfortunately yesterday they run out of it and people were not served neither they got any kind of replacement, satisfaction, explanation - nothing! Absolutely unprofessional.
Yesterday they picked up the beach towels from customers without any prior warning or notice even if it was allowed previously to leave the towel on the beach to reserve the place in the morning.
Some people serving food are not too much polite but act normal but two of them are never smiling, don’t speak almost any English and look as they feel miserable, so it’s unpleasant to take the food from them and you have to because it is not a buffet.
But the worst of the worst is the waste water from the hotel going right at the sea at the beach. It smells bed, but makes great habitat for the cute little frogs who might be the only one thriving at this place! You have to be careful not to step on them in the evening when walking by the pool because there is so many of them and obviously very domesticated they are. Cheers to Kassandra Frogs Hotel, we will never see you again!

Dit hotel werd vooral bezocht Slavische toeristen toen wij er verbleven. Personeel is super vriendelijk, behulpzaam en correct, de (luxe) kamer was mooi, netjes en comfortabel. Elke dag was er wel iets lekkers te eten maar klassieke Griekse gerechten zelden. In de namiddag kon je telkens gefrituurde snacks of hamburgers bestellen. Pizza was te betalen. Inbegrepen alcoholische dranken waren een enkel B-merk Ouzo, iets wat op Brandy moest lijken , ongekoelde witte wijn (tenzij je hem nog meer zou verdunnen met ijs), rood water dat wijn zou moeten voorstellen en een B-merk pils. Dit is geen all-in naar Westerse normen! Er waren veel min driejarigen maar ijsjes voor hen waren er nooit. Nagerecht bestond steevast uit appelschijfjes met kaneel poeder, perenpartjes, sinaasappelpartjes, kiwi en soms ook abrikozenschijfjes. Het zwembad was OK. Mijn echtgenote meldde uitgesmeerde uitwerpselen op de deur van de damestoiletten aan het onthaal. Na drie dagen kleefden de menselijke uitwerpselen nog op de deur. Het WC papier op onze kamer was bijna op: dus kregen we een eerder gebruik half rolletje. De andere hotelgasten waren Serviërs, Polen en Noord-Macedoniërs. Uitzonderlijk was er een Duits of Nederlands gezin. Alleenstaande moeders vroegen ons of wij op hun kindje konden letten als ze gingen eten. De eetgewoonten van andere hotelgasten waren niet appetijtelijk. Het hotel laat niet toe om via de weg of het strand te voet Νέα Ποτιδαιά of Νέα Μουδαίνα te bereiken, wegens de Potidaia rivier, klif die tot in zee uitlopen of een gewestweg zonder voet of fietspad. Een welkomstdrankje, nochtans beloofd in de brochure, was er niet. Spijtig, zo’n mooi hotel, super personeel (keuken, balie, strandbar, poets personeel)…we gingen op inspectie naar een hotel met Westerse hotelgasten en een Griekse keuken. Je gaat toch ook naar Griekenland om lekker te eten! Neen, we kregen geen watermeloen, aardbeien, perziken, druiven, nagerechtjes buiten fruit, dolmades, souvlaki, stifado, kokkinisto , moussaka, beefsteak, frietjes maar wel een keer tzatziki, taramosalata, dagelijks rauwe witte en rode kool, rode biet, gepekelde groenten. ‘s Morgens was er natuur- en chocolade cake, maar nooit bij de andere maaltijden. Er was steeds voldoende beschikbaar. Een uur telefoneren om 3u ‘s nachts aan de inkom, onder ons raam, dat is het niet en evenmin muziek vanaf 7u00 ‘s morgens. Neem muggen melk mee, je hebt het er nodig, en oordopjes. Oh ja, light- of zerodranken zijn niet inclusief in de all-in, het is maar dat je het weet. ontoereikende WiFi, keuze van de muziek door de eigenaar, straatlawaai (racende auto’s en moto’s)… Koffie, water, thee zoveel je wenst maar dat is toch evident bij een all-inclusive? Spijtig, de streek is prachtig, het klimaat uitstekend, de ligging helaas wat afgezonderd zonder huurwagen of taxi, de personeel doet je hart smelten maar de all-in formule, dat had ik graag voor mijn bevestiging gelezen.
