Take a hard pass. You won't regret your decision. If you do decide to stay here though you may regret. The staff is nice and friendly but that's all. Sink problems 1st day and the last day of the stay the AC just gave up. No amount of tips, offerings or bribes could save it. I could keep writing but there's no point. The actual stars of the hotel should be bo more than 2*. That's it. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

Me and my family were staying at this hotel for 7 days and it didn't go well.First of all before we booked the rooms it said that in the price the tax would be included. That was a lie. When we got there they asked for 70euros(10euros per night) for tax.I would not reccomed this hotel for anyone.I'd rather go to a different hotel beacouse in every other hotel they paid 14euros for 7nights(2euros per night). And also the food was not cooked well and was the same every day like they didn't even cooked new fries they just put in the same fries from the last time.I hope this review was helpful and Thank you for your time.

We stayed at Hanioti Grand Otel expecting a 4-star hotel, but it was far from it.
The rooms were dirty, worn-out, and poorly maintained. The air conditioning didn’t work, even though it was listed as included. When we asked at reception, we were told it was central and couldn't be turned on just for our room. No solution was offered.
The food was extremely bland, badly cooked, and tasted old.
What made things worse was the attitude of the reception staff — they were rude and unhelpful. When we asked for assistance, they told us that “for the price we paid, we shouldn't expect more.”
We were very disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this hotel.

Terrible experience, awful rooms, below average quality of meals. The beach has sharp rocks and you can easily cut yourself and get hurt. The only good thing is the location.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this so-called "4-star" hotel, which I believe is a complete scam. The hotel failed to deliver even basic services and facilities, and it is clear from my stay that this establishment is nowhere near the standard of a 4-star hotel.

Upon arrival, the staff were unprofessional, and the reception was dismissive of my complaints about the substandard conditions. They outright refused to provide any assistance or refunds, despite the fact that we left the hotel early due to the poor service. The receptionist even admitted the poor service but claimed he couldn’t reach the management. To make matters worse, we were charged an additional fee for the night we stayed, on top of paying 30 Euros for parking that we barely used.

This experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a celebratory trip. I strongly advise against booking this hotel. Save your money and avoid the frustration—this place is a complete scam.

PS: I have uploaded a picture of the useless, non-functioning air-condition, which was releasing terrible smell of mold.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations. While the location was perfect, several aspects of the hotel fell short, especially considering its 4-star rating.

Cons:
- The price only covers the beds and meals, everything else comes at an extra cost.
- Sunbeds are 15€, and no drinks are included. The quality is quite poor, with cheap, flimsy umbrellas and hard, uncomfortable plastic loungers.
- Parking is 15€ per day, but there is no security provided and no marked spots. It's simply a ramp, and other cars can easily block your exit, requiring you to go to reception to track down the owners to move their vehicles. Children frequently play ball in the parking yard, which could potentially damage your car.
- You have to pay 20€ for the remote if you want to use the TV.
- Baby cots are charged at 3€ per day.
- Beach towels are not included and are also charged extra.
- The hotel is spread across multiple buildings: one on the beach, one behind the parking lot, and another house across the road. If you're a family booking an apartment, you might end up in this separate house, bit far from the main hotel area, and just come to the hotel for meals.
- The building closest to the beach has no elevator. If you book a sea view room on a higher floor and have a toddler with a stroller, it becomes very inconvenient.
- Rooms are incredibly small, leaving little space to move around.
- Everything in the room feels old and in poor condition.
- The shower is tiny with a shower curtain that clings to you while showering.
- The air conditioning works inconsistently.
- There is a strong smell of sewage in the room, especially if you forget to leave the bathroom ventilation on.
- The restaurant is small, and long queues are common.
- Meal times are limited: breakfast is from 8 AM to 10 AM, and dinner from 7 PM to 9 PM.
- The food variety is poor, especially on the dessert table. There is usually only one type of fruit available.
- The Wi-Fi signal is terrible and only works reliably in the reception area.

Pros:
- The location is excellent, right on the beach and near a park, making it ideal for children.

Overall, this hotel is not worth the price, and it certainly doesn’t live up to a 4-star rating. Had it not been for the convenient location, this hotel would deserve 0 stars. The facilities are in terrible condition, and the numerous additional costs made the stay much more unpleasant.

I mean it's alright. The beach is great, the rooms are too. The staff is a bit grumpy. The location is beautiful, in the heart of Hanioti. The reception has a TV with YouTube so kids can watch what they like, that's nice. There is little choice for food, always the same meals. The WiFi is AWFUL, I would recommend to get Mobile Data for Roaming. You can't charge your phone in your room while you are away: you need to put in the room card. Overall, ok.

I got everything that i needed for one vecation. the food is great. if you want more luxury room you cant have that but you get comfortable bed for sleeping and nice meals is everything that you need because anyways you will spend more time on the beautiful beach.

I have to admit that we were intimidated by various reviews of the facility, so we didn't expect much. We stayed in a hotel with three families in three rooms. First of all, let me refer to the quality of the rooms. The size of the same is to be expected, they are not too small, and they are not too comfortable either. They are extremely clean, which is really the most important item. Some rooms have a lack of sockets, but this is not a big problem either. The cleaners regularly clean the rooms, we posted a sign "not to enter" 3 times, because there is no logic in changing towels so often. The air conditioning in the room is central, included in the price of accommodation, but it is focused on the beds, so sometimes it is annoying (The solution is to open the door of the terrace and the window in the toilet and turn off the air conditiong). It is the staff of the hotel that deserves 5 stars, while the hotel itself, based on the infrastructure and the quality of the furniture, is more for 3 stars than for 4. If I take into account the location, the quality of service, food in the hotel restaurant, the price of deck chairs (12e, it will be 15e) , drinks and food on the beach (frappe 1.5e, ice cream 1.5e, donuts 1.8e), worth the money invested. In the hotel's restaurant, you will have a variety of delicious food for breakfast and dinner. The staff is constantly cleaning the tables and replenishing the buffet (5 stars for them). Kostas, a great and helpful guy, welcomes you at the entrance to the restaurant. When he had free time, he gave tips for beaches in the surrounding areas as well as other tips (5+ stars). The first and second rows of sunbeds are in high demand, so the advice is to get up early and go to the beach (6am) in order to occupy the first row (if needed). I've been drinking coffee here on a regular basis with "Jure", beach worker, who is a really nice and good man. After breakfast, come back to use the sunbeds. The shop below the hotel restaurant (on the beach) offers basic items, various coffees, juices, ice cream, food (pizza, doughnuts, hotdogs). The pool is not something special, we tried it once , just for try, but who need it, when you're at sea? Some use the zone around the pool, because you don't pay for sunbeds there, and then they go to swim at sea.
We went to other places on the beach three times, so we realized that we definitely had the best offer within the hotel. Why? Example: Nea Skioni beach, The best combination for sunbeds 11e (2 sunbeds) and must take 1 drink per person ( cheapest is 5e), Posidi beach the same and at Paliuri similar ( 20e +). The negative trifles of the hotel are:
1. Parking fee - 15e per day (to high) and it is not marked
2. Baby cot - 3e per day (It should be free, my opinion)
3. Safe in the room- 1e per day (It's total nonsense). I would understand the charge, that the safe is at the reception.
You can temporarily park your vehicle in the courtyard of the hotel to leave your luggage. The easiest way to access the hotel with a vehicle, from main road, is beside the gas station or through the parking lot of the Masoutis market, down street (beside rainwater channel), then, the last street on the left, (almost at the beach) through it you get to the church. You drive between the park and the church to the end of the street and there is the hotel. Use this route especially if you arrive in the late afternoon, because the central streets close in the evening, then they are used exclusively for walking. Since we planned to use the vehicle during the holidays, I parked right in the streets of the mentioned path or in the parking lot of Masoutis market.
