Reviews
Upon arrival, the staff were unprofessional, and the reception was dismissive of my complaints about the substandard conditions. They outright refused to provide any assistance or refunds, despite the fact that we left the hotel early due to the poor service. The receptionist even admitted the poor service but claimed he couldn’t reach the management. To make matters worse, we were charged an additional fee for the night we stayed, on top of paying 30 Euros for parking that we barely used.
This experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a celebratory trip. I strongly advise against booking this hotel. Save your money and avoid the frustration—this place is a complete scam.
PS: I have uploaded a picture of the useless, non-functioning air-condition, which was releasing terrible smell of mold.
Cons:
- The price only covers the beds and meals, everything else comes at an extra cost.
- Sunbeds are 15€, and no drinks are included. The quality is quite poor, with cheap, flimsy umbrellas and hard, uncomfortable plastic loungers.
- Parking is 15€ per day, but there is no security provided and no marked spots. It's simply a ramp, and other cars can easily block your exit, requiring you to go to reception to track down the owners to move their vehicles. Children frequently play ball in the parking yard, which could potentially damage your car.
- You have to pay 20€ for the remote if you want to use the TV.
- Baby cots are charged at 3€ per day.
- Beach towels are not included and are also charged extra.
- The hotel is spread across multiple buildings: one on the beach, one behind the parking lot, and another house across the road. If you're a family booking an apartment, you might end up in this separate house, bit far from the main hotel area, and just come to the hotel for meals.
- The building closest to the beach has no elevator. If you book a sea view room on a higher floor and have a toddler with a stroller, it becomes very inconvenient.
- Rooms are incredibly small, leaving little space to move around.
- Everything in the room feels old and in poor condition.
- The shower is tiny with a shower curtain that clings to you while showering.
- The air conditioning works inconsistently.
- There is a strong smell of sewage in the room, especially if you forget to leave the bathroom ventilation on.
- The restaurant is small, and long queues are common.
- Meal times are limited: breakfast is from 8 AM to 10 AM, and dinner from 7 PM to 9 PM.
- The food variety is poor, especially on the dessert table. There is usually only one type of fruit available.
- The Wi-Fi signal is terrible and only works reliably in the reception area.
Pros:
- The location is excellent, right on the beach and near a park, making it ideal for children.
Overall, this hotel is not worth the price, and it certainly doesn’t live up to a 4-star rating. Had it not been for the convenient location, this hotel would deserve 0 stars. The facilities are in terrible condition, and the numerous additional costs made the stay much more unpleasant.
We went to other places on the beach three times, so we realized that we definitely had the best offer within the hotel. Why? Example: Nea Skioni beach, The best combination for sunbeds 11e (2 sunbeds) and must take 1 drink per person ( cheapest is 5e), Posidi beach the same and at Paliuri similar ( 20e +). The negative trifles of the hotel are:
1. Parking fee - 15e per day (to high) and it is not marked
2. Baby cot - 3e per day (It should be free, my opinion)
3. Safe in the room- 1e per day (It's total nonsense). I would understand the charge, that the safe is at the reception.
You can temporarily park your vehicle in the courtyard of the hotel to leave your luggage. The easiest way to access the hotel with a vehicle, from main road, is beside the gas station or through the parking lot of the Masoutis market, down street (beside rainwater channel), then, the last street on the left, (almost at the beach) through it you get to the church. You drive between the park and the church to the end of the street and there is the hotel. Use this route especially if you arrive in the late afternoon, because the central streets close in the evening, then they are used exclusively for walking. Since we planned to use the vehicle during the holidays, I parked right in the streets of the mentioned path or in the parking lot of Masoutis market.
Hotel is long due for total renovation.
Food is 2 star max. Not worth the money - only location.
