Where to stay in Panormos

Beautifully maintained hotel and grounds, excellent choice and standard of food, friendly, helpful staff. private beach. Everything you could want from a holiday, I would be delighted to return and wholeheartedly recommend.

What a wonderfull time we had here. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, the room comfortable, the beach close, the staff friendly and competent. I'd love to come back!

This place looks the part and the rooms are nice. However, the food whilst it looks good is just kind of bland and the service in the bar very poor with waiters who clearly would rather be somewhere else. Incredibly loud entertainment and fitness events in the main pool were just awful if you want to relax.

Starting from food to entertainment and staff all and all were amazing during our stay. There are different pools which one can use base on his preference and the beaches are all tidy and well equipped. The room was also super clean and equipped with fridge and air conditioner.

Not the best Iberostar hotel, but definitely one of the best in Crete.

We had a business conference here. It was a beautiful hotel with friendly staff. The local town and shopping was nice and walking distance from the hotel or by the cute blue and white train. Overall a lovely experience and would love to come back in vacation and spend more time exploring the surrounding areas.

Our stay was very pleasant. Upon arrival, guest service staff assisted us and provided complementary welcome drinks. Staff are super professional and welcoming. They also provided bottle of champagne and wine and decorated the bedroom with flowers as they knew it was our honeymoon. Very large hotel and grounds. All very clean and well run. Hotel is on a peninsula by itself so you are a bus ride away from a town with bars and tavernas. There are plenty of pools in the hotel grounds and you have access to the beach and safe swimming areas. Gorgeous setting and grounds, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is varied and all good quality, something for everyone. Unfortunately the shower in the room is very disappointing.. as a cheap plastic shower curtain and a tiny shower basin.. we have found completely lacking. Hotel has a big swimming pool which isn't crowded of people, sometimes you can enjoy being alone in all pool area. Rooms are modest and tidy with air conditioning. Hotel is in very good place of the Crete, you can travel easily from here to any direction. Village of Panormos with many Tavernas is just about 1,5km away. Owners of the hotel are very kind and helpful. Recommend this hotel for calm holidays

Low wifi level, poor rooms, 1 km to Panormo. But cute owner, good view, and the best stone beach i ever see - crystal water with no garbage but funny colour fish.

The Greek people working here are very nice! It seems to me they are always ready to do something more for the guests. The view is great. I also like the level of hygiene. There's a small but cosy yard with a pool.

My husband, daughter and I had the most wonderful stay in Aug/Sep. The food was great. There were lots of pools and our room was lovely. I particularly loved the kids club. Eva, Stella and another lady (sorry I've forgotten her name) took wonderful care of my daughter. It was a very relaxing holiday :)

Want to personally thank Eleni T. for always greeting my wife and I with a warm welcome & smile anytime we arrived in the Lobby. It’s the type of customer service that is appreciated. Also found it helpful that the hotel provided COVID testing on site for convenience.

This place was awesome. What they don’t tell you or show good photos of us the amazing water slides! We all had great fun for hours on the slides. Great hospitality and although some people commented on sewage smells - we didn’t notice that problem.

A wonderful, luxurious hotel where you will find pure pleasure while staying there. You will also find great entertainment for your children, a big pool area for kids and a private beach bay. We had a marvellous holiday at Villa Kynthia. The rooms are lovely, there is a shady courtyard, and a plunge pool and best of all the extraordinary Maria who manages to be both discreet and omnipresent. Panormos is a really good size for getting to know (v.small) and well-placed for visiting Knossos and the museums. Of course you could just stay in Villa Kynthia all day.
