Gorgeous setting and grounds, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food is varied and all good quality, something for everyone. Unfortunately the shower in the room is very disappointing

Food was plentiful with a very good choice of dishes. Dinning room could feel a little overcrowded and canteen like at times. In all a good four star hotel complex

Main pool can feel busy, but does have activities going on through the day. So we went to the Phaethon bar with pool. Which was quieter but still busy. Great if you sporty lots to do too

we had our Honeymoon in this hotel and happened to have my wife's birthday. The hotel manager sent us a birthday cake and bubble wine as gifts

We had a room with a sea view which I would recommend over the inland view, which was regularly cleaned and kept spotless. Overall the warmth of all at Kirki shone through

A lovely friendly family run hotel, nothing is too much trouble. We booked a basic room which was lovely and clean for myself and my daughter. We were very happy with it but then we had trouble with the shower and toilet

Small menu choice for lunch but all the same delicious It is approx 20 min walk into Panormos itself. If it was too hot we took a taxi €8 Is approximately 40 mins to Rethymno again we took a taxi €30 each way

If you do not know Panormos then you may feel that you are in the middle of nowhere but 15 mins from your doorstep you have the beautiful fishing village with many shops bars and restaurants

The fact that there was no fuss and they were very apologetic made the matter easy to resolve Apart from that it is very very quiet. Pool area spotless and stunning

The Panormo Beach Hotel is a great place. The location is just next to a really nice beach and the town itself is full of nice tavernas and bars. The rooms are clean and functional

We booked Marelina Villas slightly unplanned as a last minute getaway. The reviews were good but I never realistically expected that it would live up to them

The Greek people working here are very nice! It seems to me they are always ready to do something more for the guests. The view is great. I also like the level of hygiene. There's a small but cosy yard with a pool.

What a find, our accommodation was basic but spotlessly clean, very lovely people in a beautiful part of Crete. Plenty of tavernas to eat/drink st, all within walking distance

Great beach resort with restaurants and local shops on your doorstep. The breakfast was varied and good quality. Ideal if you don't intend to travel around, otherwise you'll need a car rental (plenty of free parking)

This is the best hotel I’ve ever visited. We arrived at 6:00 AM and personnel gave us a room at 9:00 AM, but usually it’s after 2:00 PM. They also gave us better room than we booked

Room 114 has a balcony big enough to accommodate about 10 loungers and a view that you won't tire of in a hurry, day or night, unfortunately it's 52 steps up from reception/bar

Because of the geography, the hotel is built on a slope and therefore consists of a series of levels connected by a series of confusing stairs and lifts. Also confusing is the absence of a pool bar (lovely pool)

Psarapoula taverna is next door and Mambos taverna an easy stroll, anywhere else will require an uphill hike but that's Bali

The extractor fan in the bathroom was blocked with dust and didn’t function at all, so we had to leave the bathroom door open constantly. Linen changes only every three days also felt below par for this standard of hotel

There is entertainment every night and the animation team are superb! We will be back in 2025! I would have given 5* but the all inclusive drinks are not good

The main problem was that the Animation team were all French and everything was spoken in French ( with the odd English word thrown in) all the games were conducted in French, but as the hotel was over 90% French they really enjoyed it, but we felt excluded

There's always greek style bacon, beans, eggs and toast on a morning and plenty of tea and coffee. The rooms are very clean and cleaned daily apart from a Sunday however, our room got cleaned on the Sunday also

You can get raki, ouzo and mastika cocktails and a couple of gin drinks and rosé, beer, wine and soft drinks. Other hotels we have stayed in Bali has cheap whiskey and Pina coladas available

Eva runs the hotel, and is a font of knowledge, if she does not have the answer immediately she will find it for you, and if she does not have the appropriate map she will draw you one

There was entertainment on and some was great, the Magician, The Professional, was phenomenal and a great show! There were 2 dancers which wasn’t a great hit, it looked like they argued a couple of times during the set and the show didn’t flow - they kept stopping for a minute or two after their dance

Delicious desserts which makes a change for an all-inclusive. Rooms are spacious and very clean with comfortable beds, but it's not the 5* experience you'd hope for. Location: stunning but a car is highly recommended

You can swim in the sea and in the pool whenever you want, you don’t have to choose one of them. Also, we really enjoyed playing table tennis (to balance the new kilos due to the buffet)

The basin plug release in one room needed operating from below the sink, it was missing parts, on the second room the sink emptied with the plug in place. Plenty of hot water which never ran out and good shower pressure

Our, not very good, hire car cost €160 for two weeks, booked from the UK (Carjet) well in advance. Flat screen TV with some English channels. Good room safe, extra €2 per day

There is a good supermarket close by which is well stocked. The very nice new hotel next door is lively and plays nice music in the evening, nothing too loud

To walk barefoot from your room a few steps to the sea is divine. Good buffet breakfast for 6 euro if u are self catering. For my needs this place could not be better the value is amazing for such a wonderful place

Nice place it has 5 pools, good food but bad wifi connection. In the evening it is quite impossible to have internet connection. There is pool bar all day and in the evening also. Every evening there is a show

We hadn’t been all inclusive since before kids and had experience and read stories of poor quality food that had sat for hours at other resorts. With 2 hungry teenage boys we thought we’d give it a go though

We really liked the room with a private pool, they cleaned the room every day, they gave us 1 liter of drinking water every day. The activities were great for children and adults. The food selection is really large

The only thing I would slightly improve is the hair dryer in the bathroom – it heats up quickly and doesn’t work that well, but it’s just a small detail compared to how great everything else was

The food was delicious, with lots of variety and rich local flavors – special greetings to Chef Fotis for the incredible meals. Everyone working here makes the experience even more enjoyable

The Aquila Rithymna Beach is rated as a 5 star hotel possibly because of the proximity to the beach, waterpark and children's facilities, it's an ideal family hotel, however in my opinion it isn't suitable for couples or single people

There is also a free kids buffet every day for lunch that is fabulous. The new water park is also just great! The lifeguards are attentive. There is also a snack bar with pizza, ice cream and drinks

The main restaurant as well as the Italian restaurant serve good food with a nice assortment

The bath wasn’t big enough to shower in comfortably. The food was outstanding, by far the best I have had at a European all inclusive. 3 restaurants to choose from too with lots of variety daily

This is a lovely hotel, which is run by lovely people. From the really friendly welcome to the day to day excellent staff, it really stood out to us as a well managed hotel. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable

Food is all buffet, but it's an excellent buffet with really good quality food and cooking. Drinks are OK and the bars were run by two excellent ladies

Location is good on a lovely beach and a really nice, historic town just 10 minutes away. Clientele was mainly couples of near our age, with a few younger couples - it's not really a place for kids

It Lacked atmosphere I felt and we like to dress up for dinner but nobody bothered here. The food was of a very good standard, not loads of choice but there are only 88 rooms I guess so it’s saving on waste

The staff here are all friendly and work hard to keep their guests happy. Drinks arnt the best and served in tiny plastic cups during the day. Not strong spirits and the wine wasn’t great either

It has a small and intimate feel about it and the reception and common areas inside and out are clean and very well maintained. Our room was a ground floor superior guest room booked on a bed & breakfast basis

The rooms were always clean, the bathroom was modern with an incredible shower, and the bed was just as comfortable as one in a 5-star hotel. If I return to Crete, I would absolutely stay at Villa Oliva again

The hotel is located just off the A90 / E75 main highway which despite creating some traffic noise is outweighed by the convenience of quickly accessing the main routes to travel elsewhere on the island

The bakery next door was great for gelato and cakes, and a good coffee! We visited a few of the tavernas and food quality and price was excellent

Outside space and pool were really nice and provided a good opportunity to just relax for a while before & after breakfast. Traffic noice wasn’t an issue, cicadas were louder

Grand Leoniki Residence gave us the true Crete Experience, it felt very authentic from start to finish. Would put a higher rating if possible

Breakfast is good and varied. More, if you have to do a small trip in Crete they anticipate breakfast (usually is 8:00-10:00). We had just a few small issue in the apartment but it has been fixed in no time

Super clean. Bit old but amazing staff and great pool compensate for that. Very good value for money.

It's Friday night everyone in Axos Hotel at the Axos Bar and you never be alone there ! If you are the guest of the hotel don't worry about the louder of the noises because the wall of the building are strong and big

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days. The hotel very friendly to families with children. Rooms very clean, cleaned daily every day. Change of towels with new ones every day. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff

Close to the beach, great pool. Lovely bar and fantastic service. Nice breakfast every morning. Literal 2 minute walk to the beach great restaurants literally next door/across the road Highly recommended.

Large rooms, very clean, good size pool. Close to nice taverns and the long sandy beach. Rooms in the back are more quiet ( far away from the pool) as the sound proof is not that good

Had an excellent stay at the Apollon Hotel. Very friendly, clean and relaxing

Bed is very hard. Pool very good,but some put towels out in the morning and don't use the sun loungers until later in the day. This shouldn't be allowed. Good pool bar.rooms are good n big. Aircon is 6 Euro a day.

Staff were great, Maria, jack and Clarissa (who did try to teach us Greek) only did learn yamass 😄 pool area was quite, which we liked however think that was just with covid. Met lots of nice people during our stay

Didn't stay at the hotel, only visited the bar. Great free wifi! Really fast (like 2mb/s download speeds). Ate an ice-cream, was super good! Also good coffee according to my wife.

Pretty good hotel with spacious apartments. Bathroom is really small given the apartment size. They serve pretty good drinks at the bar. Hotel is not that far from the sea. Reasonable prices for the room.

Good value self catering apartments, with a good cleaning service. Grounds have a delightful variety of fruit trees and plants. Relaxed atmosphete and friendly helpful service

Very nice and quite place, the room is big and comfortable, there is a kitchen in the room so you can cook if you like to, the only thing that was not perfect is the air con, if you in the living room it works just fine, but at the badroom it was a bit hot, but very nice expirience beside that :) and the bar was great

Nice hotel, situated in a reasonably quiet street with very little traffic. Very nice people run this place. There's an outside bar and outside seats. The building looks good and the room is taken good care of

The bed is good, better than most beds I have slept on in Greece. The plumbing is reasonably good, very warm water from a suncollector on the roof, as is very common in Crete

Plenty of beers and cocktails at the bar served by Ella and a great time was had by all. Nice quiet location off the main road. George also provided a delicious chocolate cake for our grandsons birthday

my dear i recently spent holidays in crete. I stayed with my wife and two children at the Bueno Hotel. We were greeted by a nice old lady, probably the mother of the owner. The hotel itself is worth three stars

The swiming pool has a good share of shadow in the afternoons which is really great for kids and refreshing during a hot summer day. Definitely we will come back

Towels are also changed daily. There are some quite small rooms, and we did reqeust, and were given a larger room in our second week, which was excellent

This hotel is fantastic value for money, lovely rooms, right by beach (1 min walk), lovely staff and very relaxing. I had a self-catered apartment and it was very well equipped. Very relaxing stay

Good supermarket close by and Lidl a short walk. Buses available but taxis into Rethymnon around 12-14 euros. Small pool with use of another pool by the beach

Our apartment had air conditioning, and we definitely needed it. Temperatures were 38° most days. The pool was lovely and the staff were friendly at the pool bar. We never ordered food from here, but it looked lovely

Along the main strip, in the opposite direction to Lidl is a place where you can play crazy golf. We had a really fun night here! We had a lovely holiday here and wouldn't hesitate to come back to this hotel again

very nice hotel, in front of a very beautiful beach! the room was clean , the price was good , the restaurant very good, the pool was clean everyhting perfect but the beach in front of the hotel was amazing! Long and sany with many things to do

1 minute to the main town but still peaceful tucked away down a quiet street. 30 seconds to a lovely sandy beach with one of the best sunsets I have seen. The hotel is simple, clean, nice home cooked food

Also the food was very good and I liked that it was so native. It was near to the beach and also near to the main road with shopping and bars, but very silent for a good sleep

The Cretan Night with the native dancers was the best. Thank you for everything, I'm sure I will come back

I stayed in this hotel for a week mid-August and it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had! Obviously, the rooms have everything you need and are very clean and modern

But I strongly suggest booking a room with a pool view, where you can enjoy an evening or two on the balcony. We had different menus every day and the choice was just perfect, not too much and not too little

If you need anything special there is a small shop on the territory of the hotel or you can go into the town 10 mins, where there are plenty of restaurants and shops, including Lidl

People are usually staying near pool, so almost all sunbeds are taken (and yes, some guests are still having the habit of leaving a towel on a sunbed but showing up 3 hours later)

On the bright sight, there is plenty of room on the beach and the view is 10 times better. The sea entry is rocky, so it’s better to have swimming shoes with you

We also went to Rethymno for a day, which is 10 mins drive. The receptionist called us a taxi which cost us 10 euro
