One of the last hotels open for this season, but not least.
Hotel offers very clean and comfortable rooms with sunrise and sea view, at least in room 515, always quiet, always good smelling surroundings. Pool was maybe a little cold for average Scandinavian/Baltic adult tourist, but kids liked it, even if you was a little bit cold after swimming, local cats grouped as one furry blanket and kept you warm in your body and soul 😍.
Food was ok, nothing too fancy but it was there every morning and it tasted good. Pool bar staff was pleasantly generous with cocktails, very enthusiastic and ready to serve at any moment.
Our stay was quiet and nice, no loud music, naked drunk people or anything else too exciting. Hotel staffwas generous with tips for daytrips and "to do" recommendations. We had honour to meet hotel owners who explained us about local greek culture and manners, always good to learn new things 😁👍

Superb hotel that is a 15 minute walk (5euro taxi) to Pefkohori or a 7euro taxi to Hanioti. (Transfer time from the airport was 1hour 10 minutes for us)
The hotel is a 3 minute walk from its own beach club where you can use sunbeds at no charge so long as you have booked through hotel reception first. You will have to spend 20 euro per person during the day which is common for all the local beach clubs.
Rooms are well equipped with everything you expect including TV, fridge, hair dryer and shower gel/conditioner. Rooms are cleaned daily along with towels being changed.
Breakfast at the hotel is really good value with all types of diet catered for. Only one coffee machine can result in a but of queuing but there is the alternative of an urn next to it if you aren't a coffee officiado.
The pool area is well laid out and we found that there was plenty of beds available (we went mid Sept) with nobody feeling the need to reserve beds at stupid o'clock.
Sunbed towels are available for a 5 euro deposit and there is a lifeguard on duty at all times. One minor issue was the green tinge the water gave to white swim suits but hopefully this will be sorted quickly as they do have a pool man who visited daily.
The pool side bar and restaurant is well equipped and open from 10am to 1am daily. Prices are a bit more than local bars and you can run a tab so long as you allow your credit card to be charged a 100 euro security beforehand.
Staff at the restaurant and hotel are extremely friendly and go the extra mile to ensure you have a great time.
There is a gym and spar at the hotel if you require its use or if you have a late flight home then you can book a spot to use this as a shower room while you await pick up.
This hotel overall was extremely good value for money and is recommended.

Fabulous hotel and staff. Room cleaned daily and clean bedding and towels. All staff so friendly. Especially the receptionist, who were always happy to order as a taxi into the village. And the bar staff, especially the head barman, and waitress were always lovely and made the best cocktails and Havana club and Coke. Pool area so relaxing, and very comfy su loungers. But we did prefer the beach club. As we are more beach people. I really enjoyed the breakfast, and always had something different each day. We had a ground floor room, by the front of the hotel, which we thought may be noisy for the road, but was fine and we had a lovely garden area to enjoy.

We stayed for a week in August. The reception was clean and tidy with very friendly staff. The breakfast was probably the most disappointing part as it was good but had nothing particularly that stood out and became quite boring after a couple of days. Pool was excellent and is 10am - 8pm. 5 minute walk to the beach and a short 15min walk into Pefkochori. We hired a car from Star Car rentals which we could park outside. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a free bottle of water of water when we arrived.

Everything we wanted. Clean, well-appointed hotel. The pool was great, never too busy. The option of booking the indoor pool a great option if the kids have had a little too much sun! Breakfast really good, loads of choice and all fresh and tasty. The pool bar was fantastic, the food great whether you're after a snack for lunch or something more filling for dinner. The most impressive thing about Flegra though was the staff. From the reception to the bar staff to the cleaners. Everyone so friendly and helpful. We opted to eat each night at the hotel as the kids preferred that, but that was ok as the food was top notch. Overall, a brilliant family holiday that we will remember for long time. Thank you Flegra Palace!

Pros: we stayed in a ground floor room with a pool view, which was a good size Even in August, there were enough sunbeds around the pool. Pool towels were available to hire for €5 each. There is table service from the bar to the sunbeds. Not too far from the beach. Rather than walking all the way into Pefkohori for the beach, as that beach gets really busy, try the nearer beach which you can access from little side alleyways off the road that Agistri and Mare Nostra are on - just a 10ish minute walk away. Cons: there are not many restaurants around, you have to walk into Pefkohori which is a 20 minute walk, but at least this means it's quieter around the hotel. There is very little else to do and the public transport is limited. I'd recommend this for a relaxing break but it's not the best location if you want to explore Halkidiki. If you stay here, you must book dinner at Mnemes Farm - that was the highlight of our week.

A modern hotel complex that looks great from the roadside with its impressive entrance, spacious and comfortable lounge / reception area. Gardens are beautifully maintained and looked after. One thing we always look for is cheerful staff and The Flegra staff didnt disappoint, Reception staff Daniella, Eugenia, Natasha were so polite, friendly and very helpful. In fact all of the staff who we interacted with were a credit to this hotel. The room (207) was where we stayed and it was upper floor in a peaceful location with a sea view cleaned and maintained to a high standard by our lovely housekeeper Hara. The air con and safe is included. Breakfast is a good selection of everything you need to start your day. Pool Bar staff were also very polite and friendly and the poolside food was of a good quality. We had a car so we didnt have any problem getting around the kassandra peninsula and beyond. Overall we had a great holiday, We would recommend Flegra Palace Hotel and we would go back

Just coming to the end of a 10 day holiday and the hotel was perfect- good rooms that were spotlessly cleaned each day, pool and garden areas that were immaculate (even watched the handyman clean the tiling to the swimming pool whilst I was eating my breakfast this morning!) and a good breakfast with plenty of choice. All the hotel staff were helpful and cheerful. The poolside bar was the perfect setting for lunchtime snacks and evening drinks. Lots of restaurants and bars in town about a 15 minute walk, but walk down the side roads to avoid walking along the main road. Beach near hotel is good- never seen such clear seawater. Go to Kopsi beach bar as they don't charge for sunbeds if you buy your drinks from them. Beach is lovely but a bit gritty ( I'm being very pernickety here!!!) so if you want a picturesque sandy beach, hop on the bus to Paliouri beach. Le Paz in the old town is a fabulous place to eat your evening meal beneath the stars and Afritos village is well worth a visit, especially in the evening. Greece has never let us down, and Flegra Palace and Pefkochori have maintained this tradition!!!! Thank you!!!!

We had a very relaxing week at this hotel. It has some very good points but there were a couple of things which we felt let it down. Room - the room was pretty small. Decor was ok. The balcony was nice and we had a quiet view round the side of the hotel and could just see the sea. Coffee and tea making facilities were great and the small fridge. Bathroom toiletries were nice but no frills - just basic soap, shower gel and shampoo. Negative was the bed which was exceptionally hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast - we were pretty happy with the selection. It didn’t get boring for a week’s stay. The fresh bread was absolutely delicious and good choice of fresh fruit and pastries as well as the usual hot offerings. Sometimes there was a small queue for the coffee machine but this didn’t bother us even at busy times. Lovely cool room for breakfast or you could sit out next to the pool. Pool - we loved the pool area. It feels nice and green with lots of trees around it. The loungers are super comfortable. People did reserve loungers early which could make it tricky to get a spot some days. They did put signs up during our stay suggesting towels would be removed if beds not occupied but we didn’t notice any change following this. Staff - all very friendly and helpful especially the maids who cleaned our room. Sometimes it was hard to get the attention of the bar staff to get served. Restaurant - food was really good and not overly expensive considering there is always a mark up on hotel food. We wouldn’t have wanted to eat there every night as fairly limited selection and we got better food in town. There was only one menu which was the same for lunch and dinner. We felt that if there had been more lunchtime snack options we might have taken advantage of the restaurant more when hanging out by the pool. Cocktails were very tasty and well made. Location - for us the hotel is just a bit out the way. There is nothing very close to it. Pefkochori was about a 20 minute walk but along a very busy road and Hanioti slightly further along the same road in the opposite direction. It’s about a 15 min walk to a shop. We had a car and ended up using it a lot more than we thought. Would have liked to be closer to the action - it was a long way to go in the heat for a snack lunch or to stock up on drinks. We preferred Hanioti for an evening as it’s a bit more Greek although the old town square of Pefkohori was very nice. Entertainment - there is none save for a weekly aqua aerobics class on a Friday morning which was a bit random! Beach club - what brought us to the hotel was the fact that it has a linked beach club so we hoped to spend time both at beach and pool. It appears from past reviews that last year guests could use loungers at the beach club free of charge. However we were told on arrival that it is up to 40 Euros for two loungers. This is a lot. Also the fact there is no discount at all or perks for hotel guests - means isn’t really a linked

We stayed for a week at the flegra palace , lovely lady on reception, nice staff at the bars , breakfast was limited but everything was good , room was nice & spacious, good air conditioning, everything clean & looked brand new , the toilets at the pool were spotless !!! We look forward to coming again next year.
