I’ve stayed here a few times over the years and always had a good stay.
The staff are beyond friendly and have impeccable local knowledge.
The location is absolutely stunning. At the heart of the city more or less on the sea front. Also has a good buffer of space between the roads and the rooms so very quiet at night. You can’t ask for more in that regard!
The food is great and the eating spaces are comfortable and have great views.
The swimming pool is great.

The rooms are nice perfectly serviceable. However I have stayed here over quite a few years and haven’t really seen any updates to the rooms. On my most recent visit certain small things like chips in the surfaces in my bathroom and on some of the furniture and you can see in the wooden surfaces that the varnish/treatment does show it’s age a slight bit. A little check on the furniture and maybe a lick of varnish on the wooden surfaces would really complete the stay to the highest standard.
Despite the very minor suggestions I made i fully intend on staying again.

Very accommodating. We had to bring our three dogs and they allowed us. They still to provided us with a great room that was sea view

on the sea front, spacious gardens. big clean!!!! rooms. actually it is a 5 star hotel disguised as 4 star. very friendly staff. breakfast id outstanding very!!!!! rich buffet. tens of jams, confitures, cereals. choice of eggs, bacon cheese..... definitely a place to come again

Decent hotel - staff very helpful, half board menu very varied and good portions. Breakfast has everything you could want. Rooms and beds good, with quiet aircon - bathrooms generally clean (although one of ours was a bit smelly - room 319). Out-door pool is alright and open to public (who pay), sea view rooms (where we stayed) were noisy at night until about 00.30 am, which was ok. But a wedding on our second night went on until 5 am. Maybe the city (car park) view rooms are quieter. Large parking area.

The balcony of the room can directly see the ships returning to the port, and the sea is visible as soon as the window is opened.
The disadvantage is that it is quite humid, there is an outdoor bar downstairs, and it is quite noisy in the morning

I stayed here over a week, visiting relatives and family and have nothing but good things to say about the hotel and the staff. I had a room overlooking the ocean which was so beautiful. The breakfast was delicious in the mornings and the staff very friendly and helpful..
