The staff are beyond friendly and have impeccable local knowledge.
The location is absolutely stunning. At the heart of the city more or less on the sea front. Also has a good buffer of space between the roads and the rooms so very quiet at night. You can’t ask for more in that regard!
The food is great and the eating spaces are comfortable and have great views.
The swimming pool is great.
The rooms are nice perfectly serviceable. However I have stayed here over quite a few years and haven’t really seen any updates to the rooms. On my most recent visit certain small things like chips in the surfaces in my bathroom and on some of the furniture and you can see in the wooden surfaces that the varnish/treatment does show it’s age a slight bit. A little check on the furniture and maybe a lick of varnish on the wooden surfaces would really complete the stay to the highest standard.
Despite the very minor suggestions I made i fully intend on staying again.
( 14 years) using the SPA. The manager was rude and unpolite. The only thing we paid for 5 stars hotel was a sea view! Never visit again!
Especially in the dining room
The disadvantage is that it is quite humid, there is an outdoor bar downstairs, and it is quite noisy in the morning
Even though It’s the most expensive hotel in Volos
But the value you get is too low
There is no thing Special to even pay 100$ at this time at this location ,
If staying at the other hotels on the docs side would have at least have the feeling of the promenade
But choosing this hotel for ( as if have a beach and as if it’s on the promenade ) is wrong
1- beach is wild and open and dirty they don’t even have the courtesy to clean the free beach ( because all beaches in Greece are free )
What if they just let one staff clean the beach everyday as a courtesy from themselves to their high paying guests and a contribution to the society !!!!
View from the sea view room is ok
This is the only thing good about this hotel .
2- the hotel itself is outdated and have no value except for being in Volos .
Volos in itself has no value as a holiday destination .
