Santo Miramare Beach Resort

Highly recommended hotel. We just spent 2 weeks as a family of 5 with 3 young kids. The hotel/resort is an oasis on the island. We booked with half board and couldn’t be more happy with the food. The service of staff was impeccable, they truly catered to all of our needs. Thank you staff for making this a memorable vacation for my family and I.

Two weeks are the KD Santo MiraMare resort on the southern coast of Santorini. Its a beautiful resort, great facilities, 4 pools and plenty of bars and restaurants within a 1-30 minute walk away along the coast. Everything the hotel can do for you, they do. Wonderful.
Unfortunately, unless you are prepared to get up at 6am ( amazing sunrise btw - well worth it ), dont expect to get a sun lounger by the pool. In 14 days we got lucky twice. Instead, head to the beach for the day and enjoy the beautiful clear / turquoise / blue Mediterranean sea. The hotel will happily bring food and drinks direct to your sun lounger there. Greek salads, cold drinks and sun sun sun! Idyllic!
Hotel provides beach towels so leave yours at home - just dont forget your factor 50 and the beach shoes - volcanic island black sand gets very hot by 2pm!

One other tip : cash. You can pay for everything by card, except tips. So please take some cash and show your appreciation for the amazing work these people do in +30c heat day in, day out.

Overall, our stay at Santo Miramare Resort was nothing short of perfect. The clean rooms, great breakfast, amazing location, and, most importantly, the friendly staff made our visit memorable. We look forward to returning and will highly recommend your resort to others.

This is the perfect place to stay in Santorini! Easy to grab a transfer to Fira/Oia, but not stuck in the city. Very good restaurants along the beach street.

The room was very comfortable with a good sized bathroom and shower and even counterspace. Good sized balcony for 2 to sit.

A lot of pool options and seating. Very easy access to the beach with sunbeds. They even serve you on the beach!

Only drawback is no coffee in the rooms and the breakfast doesn't start until 0800.

Other than this, this was a great stay! I highly recommend!

Lovely stay here, the rooms were always kept clean the pools and restaurant/bar were amazing. Staff were always on hand for poolside service and plenty of beds at the beach with bar service included. Located I'm quiet part of town away from the crowds

Lovely quiet hotel. Very relaxing. Spend the day by the pool or head to the hotels reserved beach loungers directly outside on the beach. Plenty enough Restaurants along the front. This resort is not a party resort. Ideal for a relaxed quiet & pleasant holiday. The sea can be a little awkward getting in & out of, due to the volcanic beach. Can be a steep rise in places & your feet will sink slowly. But manageable if fit & able bodied. Friendly staff & very clean hotel. Always a friendly greeting. Peak times for breakfast is just after 9am. Small self service area can become crowded at busy periods. Food was good with plenty of choices cooked or cold. Nicest hotel in the area.

We have just spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious, clean and the Aircon was so welcome after a hot day.
The lady cleaning our room was so friendly and did a great job.
The reception staff were very helpful. They called a taxi for us early one morning so we could do the Fira to Oia walk before it got too hot.
On the day we left, they provided towels for us to swim and to also have a shower before our transfer to the airport.
Breakfast was good. We enjoyed yoghurt and fruit every morning as well as a wide selection of hot and cold foods and varieties of breads.
The bar staff were very attentive, always checking if we needed anything else.
We enjoyed the entertainment on some of the evenings, even taking part in Greek dancing.
The only reason I've put 4 stars is that people would put towels on sunbeds and keep them 'booked' with towels the whole day. We had to sit on the little wall around the pool area because we just couldn't get a sunbed. We did spend some time on a sunbed at the beach though.

Just spent a wonderful week at this hotel. Rooms are superb , immaculate and very modern. Service at the hotel is excellent across the board from reception staff, who are so very helpful, to hospitality staff who are so attentive.
We stayed in room 211 which was perfect , overlooking the whole resort. I'd definitely stay here again.
I will add that its a good walk into a busier area of town.

Beautifully situated right on the black sand beach, so ideal for people wanting a beach holiday. Very nice pool-area as well. The scenic cities on the caldera, like Fira, are not far away by bus or taxi, and perfect to visit for a day to shop souvenirs or afternoon to see the sunset.
The staff were very friendly and smiling and helped us plan excursions, book taxis etc.
The selection at the breakfast buffet was very good - from sweet continental to full English breakfast with eggs, beans and bacon.
The cocktails at the pool bar were affordable and excellent as well :)
