Hospitable environment anf staff, very cosy atmosphere and excellent in terms of cleaning! Had a great time and everyone was kind and helpful.

Very polite owners, especially Chryssa, nice breakfast with a lot of homemade sweets and pies and very warm and extremely clean rooms. The only negative is that the room we stayed was very narrow and the suitcase had to go under the bed. The price was good because it is located exactly in the center of Portaria.

The hotel is in the very center of Portaria, just in the main square. The room is wide and comfortable, such as the bathroom with a modern shower box. The breakfast is wonderful both salad and sweet, with handmade Greek products, preserves, cakes and so on. Kritsa, her parents and her daughter are all very kind and helpful. In one word: hospitality (just the name Filoxenia means). Many thanks

Very cozy ambiance, intimate. Young staff very kind and polite. Very good Greek traditional food, fully flavored. Generous portions of food and drinks. The best their mezes such as saganaki, Melitsanosalata, tyrokafteri, tsatisiki.. etc!! Thank you for the excellent experience.

Nice atmosphere, 3 minutes walk from the main square, lots of parking spots, decent fireplace, excellent view.

Quiet and welcoming environment for a three-day getaway and rest. 1) Hospitable owners and polite to customers. 2) Satisfactory breakfast 3) Clean room with nice views on the second floor of the hotel where we stayed. 4) Good value for money.

To hotel is value for money. Very good location, with a wonderful view. Good breakfast but best of all is the incredible HOSPITALITY they feel from their owners. It was our first time in Pelion and concepts that will stay here the next.

For the first time in Pelion I could say that I went to the best season with cold snow and the next day sun ε .except for the wonderful landscape that is worth staying in the gates because it is close to everything ζει it is worth staying in this hotel because it has a wonderful family that in their way make you feel warm, and very friendly people happy to help you and say their opinion in a more shop...

Nice location with great views to Makrynitsa, Volos and the sea. Delicious breakfast, comfortable, warm and clean room, nice lounge with fireplace and spacious playroom for the kids. Very friendly and authentic people!

We have been here for lunch. Excellent food. No English menu but very nice owners who translate the menu.

Traditional guest house next to the main square of Portaria with friendly and polite staff. We enjoyed a sweet dessert of the spoon and hot cups of tea in the common living room with fireplace. The breakfast offers handmade delicacies with a variety of pies, jams, etc. The only drawback is the old mattresses.

Traditional guest house, beautifully landscaped with the aroma of a bygone era !!!!! Kind, helpful and willing for any information its owner. I would recommend it to acquaintances and friends and of course I will gladly seek to come back in the future.

The room was absolutely cosy with a fireplace and with a fantastic view of Volos and surrounding mountain. Perfect location to explore the area( perfectly centered to everything). Delicious breakfast and very helpful staff with wonderful suggestions for what to explore.

Simply outstanding. We stayed in a suite that was fully renovated(we were one of the first to sleep there after the renovation) with modern but also a bit of traditional style. The view of the mountain Pilio and the city as well was great. The breathtaking sunset and the balcony offered us a feeling of freedom. My third visit to this place. Smiles all over, clean and comfortable big rooms, good price, fabulous breakfast on a patio facing the majestic mountain of Pelion 2 kilometres away from the breath taking scenery and taverns of Makrinitsa. Au revoir, see you again soon.

Nice place, excellent breakfast, good communication, fast service. I recommend it. the only problem is parking places that the hotel cannot offer.

We had a nice room with a large balcony and a great view. Breakfast is great as well, though it was way too much for 2 people. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was with variety of foods and everything was very tasty. The location is very quiet and with panorama view to Volos. The hosts are very hospitable and gave us all their attention despite of our late arrival (after midnight) and despite our short stay (1 night only).

Cozy and clean rooms with a great view to the city of Volos. The little yard we could sit and enjoy our coffee/breakfast was beautiful and filled with flowers, giving a unique but traditional touch to the hotel. The landlady was very kind and helpful. Yes Yes Yes. For the location, for the service, for the breakfast for the great dinner. Sure a few things can be improved in the rooms but most of these details should be overlooked when everything else is great.

Tasty breakfast. We also had dinner here, food is a little bit more expensive than in other restaurants nearby. The room was small and seems to need renovation, however this didn't worsen our overall experience.

Nice and homey. Very tasty breakfast. Shower is clean but needs some renovation. They make very good preserved fruits and jams, of which they give some as a gift.

A very nice view of Portaria's main square. Wonderful breakfast (included) and a very good restaurant. The staff are kind and welcoming. We had the family room, which is equipped with toys and book for children (in greek...) and is very spacious and comfortable. Note that this is an old building and its wooden floor is noisy; we could hear when the guests upstairs went to the bathroom at night.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. We had the so called “honeymoon suite”, a spacious room with a large terrace and also a jacuzzi, and, following the Covid rules, we had the opportunity to enjoy the hotel spa just for ourselves. -1 star because of breakfast and WiFi quality (3 different WiFi spots, but low quality of internet) Perfect option for the area. We will visit them again for sure!!!!
