Spent 7 days here. Was a good stay with some shortcomings. First was the pool, open relatively late (11 am) and available to outsiders which made it very noisy during the weekend. Second was the gym, open for some reason after 12 pm, not cleaned (at least for the 7 days I was there), half the machines are broken and closed on Sunday which the receptionist didn't tell us about. Perfect location 3day break Great swimming pool however 11:00 am opening was a half day gone. Staff were attentive in the hotel. Dining room was lovely so was dinner. The hotel picture is not revealing the winding road of 8 KM to reach it from Volos. Nevertheless, we managed to go up the hill and the hotel met all expectations. A good hotel in a nice setting on the way up to Pelion Mountain above the town of Volos in central Greece , with clean rooms and clean pool and beutifull garden. Our stay at Valeni was excellent. The view alone is unbeatable. We stayed in the junior suite. We first went to the spa and then had massages. My family and I were at the hotel for a happy occasion of Christening of a close friend's child. The place is tranquil, and personnel are ready to help and assist. Rooms are well equipped with coffee & tea equipment, plenty of towels. Spa offers a variety of massages and different procedures.

A beautiful old manor house in the traditional style of Pelion (Pilio). The hotel is animal friendly which was a great surprise. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean, and the breakfast available has a good variety (their traditional pie is amazing).

Despotiko is a very fine hotel at a high point of portaria with means it also has an amazing view. The service is flawless although we did encounter some telephone pranking at one point. We spent 2 nights at the Pelion Resort and it was very good. The rooms are big, with a good bathroom and good bed. They have a very good pool (I enjoyed all day!) and their service is very friendly and kind. Everything we needed, they were ready to provide. Also very good breakfast. We would return for sure!

Very nice hotel to stay on top of Portaria village. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Basic breakfast that could be richer for the level of the hotel. The last 300m to access the road is narrow.I give 4 stars because the room aircondition was not operating so well.

It’s a lovely cafe on a roof of the hotel which opens a view to the sea and mountains! A great place to work and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. As for the menu, you can find good healthy alternatives for lunch or dinner. Prices are not too high, and the personal is quite friendly.

The greatest view you can get inside Volo. Friendly staff. Fried eggs were great, Greek coffee from Agria also. The tables are cute.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The rooms were clean, the view was fairly good and the staff were super friendly. The hotel is located in the centre of the town and it is newly opened in the location. The staff are very polite and will guide you through ever problem you face. They have a rooftop swimming pool and restaurant which is very good to hang out in summers.

The hotel was convenient to the train station and Hertz. It is on the edge of the lovely walkway along the sea. The beds were two singles pushed together, not very comfortable. It was clean and a bit dated. The breakfast was adequate.
