Great hotel, good breakfast! Excellent spa!

Valeni is a beautiful gem of a hotel in Greece! The most comfortable beds and pillows, the warm welcoming atmosphere, the views, the crackling fire with the twinkling lights looking over the view of Volos - all unbeatable! But the best of all are the staff led by their amazing manager Angeliki

Our stay at Valeni was excellent. We stayed in the junior suite. We first went to the spa and then had massages. Both were wonderful, especially because the spa is booked for an hour so we had it all to ourselves

Just incredible. Where to start. The view is breathtaking. The rooms are excellent. The staff is wonderful. And the breakfast was delicious, especially the hand made pies. Absolutely recommended.

Margot and Sokrates were both very professional and did an amazing job. I was truly able to unwind at Valeni and I want to thank everyone for a job exceptionally well done. 6 stars if it were possible!!

Spiros cooked an outstanding breakfast, with many homemade options, a variety of eggs, vegetables, fruits, etc. The homemade sweets were especially delicious. 10/10 would recommend a stay at Valeni!

food, room, cleanliness accommodation environment excellent. Helpful staff, roads for walking, close to the inns and Makrinitsa for nearby escapes. good prices in relation to the facilities. Worth it.

The view is great, the staff are helpful and friendly and accommodating to non-greek speakers, the breakfast is pretty good and includes lots of options, and the lobby / restaurant look nice and fancy

Was a good stay with some shortcomings. First was the pool, open relatively late (11 am) and available to outsiders which made it very noisy during the weekend

Breakfast was plentiful and fresh Downfall of the property was no tea and coffee facilities. Awesome view from the mountain down to Volos

Very nice place with great view. People there were great and the service good. The mansion is beautiful and it’s near the center of Portaria. There is also parking available. Tasty breakfast and nice coffee

The rooms are kept spotlessly clean, and the breakfast available has a good variety (their traditional pie is amazing)

A beautiful old manor house in the traditional style of Pelion (Pilio). The hotel is animal friendly which was a great surprise

Close to the city center. Mr. Thanasis is very helpful and the breakfast is very good.

The breakfast has everything you need and is served until late. The hotel offers also a good variety of food all day long, which is also a great plus. There is also a jacuzzi - we did not use it though

We have stayed there for 3 nights, the stuff were super nice and answered every request with a smile. The breakfast buffet was very good with many different options.

Great location, quite, in the woods, great view, very nice environment, spacious rooms, very clean. The pool is a great plus, you can swim during the day and you can enjoy cocktails and drinks by the pool at night

A small kids playground is available and I think there is also a small football court. Pet friendly to those how are interested. The owner and the staff are very kind and helpful in every way they can

The Erofili hotel provided us an exceptional hospitality as well as a super handmade breakfast, same is located in the center of Portaria village with all the hotspots in walking distance

The suite is very spacious, very clean, has good storage space, and has all the needed utility, the bed is very large and super comfy with soft linens. The bathroom is very large and has a rainforest shower

Ask them about their sister restaurants/cafés! First of all, the drive up from Volos is just amazing and breathtaking, especially as you climb closer to Portaria

Beline hotel is one of the best of it’s peers. Very comfortable room and mattresses. Nice, fresh selection at breakfast. Clean, well maintained with a friendly team.

Even if we did not stay here due to some problems with the reservation, the host found another hotel for us nearby and also gave us free breakfast.

Cozy and clean rooms with a great view to the city of Volos. The little yard we could sit and enjoy our coffee/breakfast was beautiful and filled with flowers, giving a unique but traditional touch to the hotel

Some rooms have sea view and a fireplace. The breakfast was plentiful and the hotel has a parking lot, which is important, because parking can be difficult in Portaria. The hotel is 5 min on foot from the village center
