Wonderful hotel in Beautiful and cozy Portaria. Nice space in the rooms very good breakfast. Nice and clean pool. Very polite and helpful staff. In The village portaria wich is a walk of 7 min a lots of restaurantas... Can really recommend. I stayed for 3 nights.

Spent 7 days here. Was a good stay with some shortcomings. First was the pool, open relatively late (11 am) and available to outsiders which made it very noisy during the weekend. Second was the gym, open for some reason after 12 pm, not cleaned (at least for the 7 days I was there), half the machines are broken and closed on Sunday which the receptionist didn't tell us about. Perfect location 3day break Great swimming pool however 11:00 am opening was a half day gone. Staff were attentive in the hotel. Dining room was lovely so was dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh Downfall of the property was no tea and coffee facilities. Insect screens. Awesome view from the mountain down to Volos

Rooms a little outdated but the view really made up for all as well as the service and friendliness of everyone working there. Pool was clean and cool and not busy at all for the early June. Great ambience!

Great food both for breakfast and dinner. On top of that the rooms had really comfortable beds and a nice restroom. The only negative was that the rooms were a bit small but apart from that everything was really good

Nice location, but the hotel could use an upgrade. For example, TVs have no hdmi yet, so I couldn't plug in a chromecast.

Valeni is a beautiful gem of a hotel in Greece! The most comfortable beds and pillows, the warm welcoming atmosphere, the views, the crackling fire with the twinkling lights looking over the view of Volos - all unbeatable! Our stay at Valeni was excellent. The view alone is unbeatable. We stayed in the junior suite. We first went to the spa and then had massages. Both were wonderful, especially because the spa is booked for an hour so we had it all to ourselves. The fireplace in the evening made the room warm and cozy, as did the giant jacuzzi tub. Beautiful and stylish hotel and wedding venue with event catering services. The rooms were super clean and the quality of the sheets, beds, pillows etc. were top tier. Beautiful, atmospheric and clean hotel in a central but quiet location with a great view. The services are good and the staff is friendly. Very good breakfast. We haven't got the chance to experience the spa yet. Would definitely recommend it for a stay in Pelion.

We had the so called “honeymoon suite”, a spacious room with a large terrace and also a jacuzzi, and, following the Covid rules, we had the opportunity to enjoy the hotel spa just for ourselves. Very nice hotel to stay on top of Portaria village. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Basic breakfast that could be richer for the level of the hotel. The last 300m to access the road is narrow.I give 4 stars because the room aircondition was not operating so well.

Great place to stay in Portaria, Pelion. Rooms are clean and the standard room are large enough. there is a swimming pool at the yard and great view of Vollos and the sea below. A lot of parking area some of them by the rooms. A standard breakfast. The staff are very nice.

A great resort! The houses are well placed, breakfast and in general food served is really good. Plus, they are pet friendly! Totally recommend!

Lovely place with a great view and great pool. Unfortunately while we stayed here the pool bar was closed which would have added to the place. Staff seemed friendly and breakfast was filling, but also nothing out of the ordinary. Rooms where nice and spacious with great AC, but could have been slightly more modern. Beautiful view, satisfying breakfast, very polite people, 5 minutes walk to the center of the village. There are some things in the room that need restoration.

Breath taking view, very good hospitality traditional breakfast (everything handmade), privacy from the balcony and only 3 minutes walking from the central square. Recommended for all weather vacations! Already in my favourite destinations! See you soon 😘

The hotel’s design is old fashioned. We ordered a room with a mountain and pool views, there aren’t rooms that offers both. The hotel’s overview didn’t mention that the pool is closed. The gym is poor, not a lot of equipment and no air conditioning. The breakfast is nice and tasty.

Unfortunately we had an ant problem in our room that wasn't solved during our entire stay. Neither were we offered any compensation. The AC worked just but not great :( The gym and pool hours are not very convinient. The shower was awsome :) and so the food by the pool and room service. Absolutely perfect for a romantic mountain getaway! The views from the rooms (if you book a ‘sea view’) are spectacular. The location is idyllic - only a very short walk to a charming town with lots of tavernas, but in a quiet space with no traffic noise. Despotiko is a very fine hotel at a high point of portaria with means it also has an amazing view. The service is flawless although we did encounter some telephone pranking at one point. The food wasn't very good the first night(Tuesday) but was almost perfect the next day. The breakfast is absolutely worth it. Value for money for the dates that I went end of July paying 50€ with breakfast was a very good price.Yes indeed the road is a little bumpy but nothing more than a car can't handle,the bumpy road is about 200 metres or less and there is a parking in the hotel 🏨 .The breakfast is very decent with a big variety of products .The hotel does have a pool also which is very nice.Overall it is a smooth place...
