Perfect location 3day break Great swimming pool however 11:00 am opening was a half day gone. Staff were attentive in the hotel. Dining room was lovely so was dinner

Great food both for breakfast and dinner. On top of that the rooms had really comfortable beds and a nice restroom. The only negative was that the rooms were a bit small but apart from that everything was really good

Rooms a little outdated but the view really made up for all as well as the service and friendliness of everyone working there. Pool was clean and cool and not busy at all for the early June. Great ambience!

The bathrooms are nice and had all the amenities. We enjoyed sitting in the dinning room balcony with wonderful view of the Volos area. It is a pity we could not use the swimming pool and spa as we stayed only the night

Valeni is a beautiful gem of a hotel in Greece! The most comfortable beds and pillows, the warm welcoming atmosphere, the views, the crackling fire with the twinkling lights looking over the view of Volos - all unbeatable! But the best of all are the staff led by their amazing manager Angeliki

Our stay at Valeni was excellent. We stayed in the junior suite. We first went to the spa and then had massages. Both were wonderful, especially because the spa is booked for an hour so we had it all to ourselves

You can tell everyone enjoys their job and this is a rare find not just in Greece but anywhere these days

The breakfast selection was beautifully curated, with interesting options that you don't find on a breakfast buffet everyday. We also had some massages and used the pool

A beautiful old manor house in the traditional style of Pelion (Pilio). The hotel is animal friendly which was a great surprise

Long story short a decent place to relax especially if you hit a similar or better price if you are there do not miss going to Volos for tsipoura and mezedes!

Our room was perfect, very clean, comfortable with a biggg bed (we were very much impressed by the sewn embroidery of the hotel's logo on the sheets and towels, very chic and regal) and extremely quiet

Good location near the village of portaria. On our last day we had to leave very early before the breakfast opens and the staff prepared toast and coffee to go for us. All in all, I was very happy with the hotel

We had the so called “honeymoon suite”, a spacious room with a large terrace and also a jacuzzi, and, following the Covid rules, we had the opportunity to enjoy the hotel spa just for ourselves

A small kids playground is available and I think there is also a small football court. Pet friendly to those how are interested. The owner and the staff are very kind and helpful in every way they can

The breakfast has everything you need and is served until late. The hotel offers also a good variety of food all day long, which is also a great plus. There is also a jacuzzi - we did not use it though

Very nice hotel to stay on top of Portaria village. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Basic breakfast that could be richer for the level of the hotel. The last 300m to access the road is narrow

The towels are thick and soft and the view from the room is great. The breakfast is rich with many varieties, thanks to Ana Nice lobby with a pleasant atmosphere, where you can relax after a long day

The Erofili hotel provided us an exceptional hospitality as well as a super handmade breakfast, same is located in the center of Portaria village with all the hotspots in walking distance

The room was absolutely cosy with a fireplace and with a fantastic view of Volos and surrounding mountain. Perfect location to explore the area( perfectly centered to everything)

This hotel is discreetly located in a very secluded alley in the town center, with a small parking lot at the entrance. You just need to boldly drive in from the alley entrance

The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, and the rooms on the back of the second floor have large balconies where you can enjoy the sunrise in the morning, gaze at the church bell tower on the opposite hillside, or watch the chickens in the garden next door

This isn't the first hotel I've stayed at in this town, but compared to others, the service and price of this hotel are truly worthy of praise. I had a wonderful day here, and I will definitely come back

Needing to catch an early ferry from Volos and not finding anything suitable in town, we decided to stay at Hotel Kritsa in Portaria having seen other good reviews online

Do yourself a favour and stay here. Is one of those places that you will think about years to come and will make you want to book another trip to Greece just to comeback to this place

We were not disappointed! The hotel and restaurant are nestled on the main square in the centre of the village. Our room was comfortably furnished with a little balcony overlooking the square

The soup is soo beautiful! It is a mixture of curdy, slightly sour, and well seasoned: it has feta-like cheese, a sausage out of this world. 🌎 One of the top two soups I've had in Greece
