I reserved a room on line base on the pictures that I saw. When we arrived at the hotel, we got a totally different room. The room was horrible, stuffy, filled with ants. We had no choice but to upgrade with (of course) an extra charge. The upgraded room was just like the one before, and again we had to pay another extra fee in order to move to a basic room. This was a perfect way to get more money out of us. After a long day all we wanted is a hot, nice shower. However, the water was freezing cold. The unfriendly manager had no solution except a bad excuse. Waste of money. What you see is not what you get!

Spent 7 days here. Was a good stay with some shortcomings. First was the pool, open relatively late (11 am) and available to outsiders which made it very noisy during the weekend. Second was the gym, open for some reason after 12 pm, not cleaned (at least for the 7 days I was there), half the machines are broken and closed on Sunday which the receptionist didn't tell us about.
On the other hand the breakfast was exceptional, lots of different fruit, pastry and classics. Staff was super helpful and nice. The room was very nice, the area was super cozy.

Wonderful hotel in Beautiful and cozy Portaria. Nice space in the rooms very good breakfast. Nice and clean pool. Very polite and helpful staff. In The village portaria wich is a walk of 7 min a lots of restaurantas... Can really recommend.

Perfect location 3day break
Great swimming pool however 11:00 am opening was a half day gone. Staff were attentive in the hotel. Dining room was lovely so was dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh
Downfall of the property was no tea and coffee facilities. Insect screens.

Awesome view from the mountain down to Volos

The hotel picture is not revealing the winding road of 8 KM to reach it from Volos. Nevertheless, we managed to go up the hill and the hotel met all expectations. The rooms are clean and of large size. The bathrooms are nice and had all the amenities. We enjoyed sitting in the dinning room balcony with wonderful view of the Volos area. It is a pity we could not use the swimming pool and spa as we stayed only the night. Breakfast was good and I liked preparing my own Greek coffee.

Rooms a little outdated but the view really made up for all as well as the service and friendliness of everyone working there.
Pool was clean and cool and not busy at all for the early June. Great ambience!

A good hotel in a nice setting on the way up to Pelion Mountain above the town of Volos in central Greece , with clean rooms and clean pool and beutifull garden. The price of the hotel is good, but the cafe-restaurant inside is expensive , ideal place For a pleasant stay with good view ! Very good view from the high rooms!!

Great food both for breakfast and dinner. On top of that the rooms had really comfortable beds and a nice restroom. The only negative was that the rooms were a bit small but apart from that everything was really good

Excellent hotel! The staff is impeccable and very kind!! Wonderful room, relaxing bed, beautiful view, rich breakfast!! We went to Pelion for 4 days with my wife to relax and the hotel Portaria turned out to be the ideal choice of accommodation! One more reason to visit Pelion!!

Wonderful! The kindness of the staff raises it to another level. Wonderful delicious cuisine. Clean rooms, comfortable parking, with a fantastic view of Pagasitikos gulf, also suitable for families, with a small playground.
