This is a very pleasant family hotel. It is built like small apartment blocks and is ideal for people with young children. There are three pools, two of which are perfect for kids

• On the last day, you need to pay €2 per piece to store luggage in a locker — again, not in line with 4-star standards. On the plus side: the two-pool setup is a smart move, separating family areas from quieter zones

The food was excellent every day, every breakfast and every dinner. The rooms were clean and well furnished for a proper sleep, and the location is surrounded of trees by the sea

And yes, it’s a good base if you rent a car to explore nicer beaches nearby. Also staff was very nice and the rooms have been cleaned daily

I stayed at Philoxenia with my family for a week, i have to give out big compliments. The food is my primary concern when i book an all inclusive/half board type of resort

That’s not just disappointing — it’s misleading. Other points: • Breakfast is the same every day — okay, but uninspired. • Coffee is truly awful — barely drinkable, definitely not what you’d expect from a 4-star property

Very nice hotel, with unique concept and architrcture. Kind and welcoming personal offers great and discrete service. Hotel has a good position near the beach, with lots of greenery around

Only a few steps lead to the wonderful sandy beach, in the hotel area with beach service from the beach bar

We only went to their beach bar and used the sun beds there. 15 eur compulsory bar consumption for one umbrella, two beds and one chair - very fair I think. The loungers were not too cramped next to each other

They have a happy hour for beer int he afternoon - 3 eur for a large draft beer. Wine came along with a quite a large portion of salty nuts

All recommendations for families with and without children. The place is also clean, lots of flowers, palm trees

Not a very busy season so if you are looking for some where quiet it's perfect

The hotel has a beautiful calm beach where you can relax and also a swimming pool where you can enjoy drinks and chill

We stayed from 9 to 16 September and we were very happy about it! We had a comfortable room with sea view

Lovely bar beside the pool, with traditional Greek dancing in the evenings. With a cocktail happy hour until Midnight, what's not to like.

What a fantastic holiday here. Just home and missing being here already. Instantly relaxed on arrival as it has a very chilled out aura. Fabulous Family who run this hotel and make you feel really welcome

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and excellent service given. I recommend hiring a car and seeing more of this beautiful area

Hotel with a special architecture, beautiful sea view, quite close to the beach, very fresh and tasty food (but there are no soups at all on the menu), clean rooms but need small furniture upgrades and bathroom repairs

Good accommodation but not best beach and sea in Sithonia. You should go to the other side of the peninsula, exactly to Orange Beach.

Plenty of fishes in the sea, where the rocks are. You can see them really well early in the morning or before sunset. Clean, wide, perfect for kids if they can swim.

Very comfortable houses equipped with everything necessary. Close to a nice sandy beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. Nice beach bar serving snacks and refreshments

We had a team building to celebrate 20th anniversary of our company Freeline Ltd. They accommodated 33 people very quickly. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Breakfast was basic but included everything needed for starting the day, coffee, tea, cereals, yoghurt and fruit, bread and butter, toasters honey, preserves, meats and cheese, pastries, scrambled eggs, and either greek sausage and bacon

The atmosphere at Asteris Village was of total relaxation. The room was great and the grounds very well kept with the pool area being clean and tidy at all times. The staff are very friendly and helpful

Had a wonderful relaxing stay at the Asteris. I had been upgraded to a suite, not sure why but a very pleasant surprise

Had an absolutely brilliant stay at Asteris Village hotel from start to finish. Upon arrival, the hotel looked amazing, and on check in, we were upgraded to a beautiful sea view suite with incredible views

Location - calm, cosy and so relaxing! Small beach, right by the garden (no street, just few steps down!) No big hotel right nearby. No loud clubs nearby, but shops and restaurants in a walking distance

Polite hosts ( we got e bottle of home made wine on check in), decent facility, great great views from the first floor (all rooms faces the sea)

Missed the protection net for the mosquitoes and sunbads on the beach ( no hotel on that beach has ones though)

Rooms - always been nice, but after renovation it is almost like 4 star hotel (beds are amazing now!). Clean - yes! The cleanest hotel ever. If anyone wrote something else, I believe they never even talked with them

Amazing team from deluxe pool bar, guys, you are the best - Darvil , Leon, Petros, Kyrylos and Thonas alongside with Mayen, the best beach buddy

Above all, the culture of all the staff was amazing, ranging from cleaners and gardeners through to wait-team in restaurants and on the beach, through to management and the Guest Services team

This is great for small children who can go back and forth between them. 40m at its deepest too I think. The kids playground, though, needs serious work on it. The beaches by the hotel are NOT sandy

The hotel is situated in a nice and calm area away from city noises. It is perfect for vacations with kids. It takes a 2-minute-walk to get to the beach. Late night dancing/music shows are awesome! Kids love them too

They are small and quite stoney. You'll have to hunt for a sandy beach. They may have sand but also seem to have a lot of gravel, and that's true of other beaches than the one right by the hotel

The pools are great for kids I have to add a star for this - there is a kids pool which is very shallow (about 65cm deep I think) and the big pool has a very shallow end not that much deeper

Diversity of meals is good enough (except for breakfasts). The only weird thing is that ordering water during dinners is not free of charge no matter that you have paid for half board services

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I don't know how the star system works these days but I'd expect a little better from a 4 star place

Recommended for families with childrens. Things to improve: the beach, juices and drinks offered at all inclusive. I give 5* due to resonable price for service recieved

A wonderful place close to the sea with very kind hosts and delicious food! The sea here is still like a mirror, hay umbrellas at the beach with warm tap water

People are great, all of them. Food is on higher level than any tavern in the town. Beach does not have a bar and that would be a minus , but i am fine with that. 150 meter from the bar inside hotel

A decent hotel! I definitely recommend this place for a wondrous rest! Cozy, clean and done with taste. Thoughtful comfortable design, snow-white fluffy towels. The staff is polite, friendly and unobtrusive

The only negative is the lack of laundry machines in the rooms and/or the lack of hotel laundry service - when you have small children, daily laundry is a must

Great and friendly staff, breakfast included and a great location in town. Rooms could be a little bit cleaner but overall very good the price.

We left in hurry and didn't report it in the morning, but when we returned in the evening, it was glued back in its place already ! The restaurant manager is a mature very polite, charismatic, fit, devoted, but also jovial gentleman, impeccably dressed

Cheers man! (btw, I found the self-service cars wash at the EKO station, all good). BEACH - 170m there's the hotel's private beach. 5 euros sunbeds - we went to Golden Beach (sand), just next to it

The poolside bartender (Nikos) is also a very polite man, helpful, attentive, trying to provide the best advices if asked

Really, staff is one of the main assets of this hotel - for instance, in our bathroom the glass shelf right under the mirror, got out of its place. Luckily, it didn't break – don’t ask me how, my wife managed to do this

He's also VERY nicely telling you to respect the rules (once, I wanted to take in my room the coffee from the breakfast, that was not allowed). This is THE way to act and behave

Pros: food and stuff Con's: TV has only local channels, some package with international (music) channels should be included

We would recommend this hotel and we will be back soon During our time here we went to beautiful beach bars which was recommend staff and went on a boat ride which we HIGHLY recommend! I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was especially welcoming, going above and beyond throughout our whole stay, I cannot say thank you enough. The rooms were very modern and clean

Also down the road at Sunny Bay, is a hreat place to have a drink and a free sunbed to rest! - lots of cats and kittens that need feeding so bring cat food or purchase at the local shops, also some pretty cute street dogs - the sea is warm, clear and calm

Not sure if I would bother again with breakfast, but staff were friendly and coffee was good - Metamorfosi is quiet. Well worth going into to Nikiti, Sithonia and Paradise Beach/bay at Toroni, Sarti beach

There was great amenities and pools. I really recommend staying here to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. I will definitely be staying at 4youfamily again!!!

The hotel didn't look as good as the photos on Booking but I enjoyed the sea and food. Clean warm sea, sandy beach, comfortable weather (not humid in early Aug) 2. Buffet has a variety of dishes, big dinners

Great family resort! We are coming here every year for 12 years! This is our favourite place -home away from home :) Friendly staff, private beach -front access, good food -in one word - this place has everything my family need

The other problem is that the beach has algae, but thatt can be solved. Other than that I had a great time, at night it was very beautiful, you could lay on a hammock and watch the sea and the stars

My booking was fantastic and amazing with the spotless room to be above and beyond any fantasy with the well-equipped furnishings, the nicely decoration, with AC inside and a fridge

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Plus, the price was very reasonable. I loved relaxing by the pool, looking at the nearby sea and using my phone to took great memorial pictures

Only it needs better handling to show its beauty. It's perfect for families and the fact that it is in front of the beach is superb! The pool is not as big as in photos

We usually went to other beaches in Sithonia, because the hotel beach was overcrowded and the sunbeds were always taken very early in the morning, as a guests we never had a chance to have a sunbed during our time there

Porto Matina offers breakfast and dinner together with their rooms. Furthermore, the bed and umbrellas by the beach are offered for free with the a minimum consumption and drinks and coffee are served on the beach

Own swimming pool is enjoyable, the hotel's beach is also acceptable, but you'd better to look for a beach a bit more away by car

Internet was more available in all premises of the hotel (room/pool/restaurant/lobby/parking) and the stuff was very friendly. This hotel became my favorite spot in halkidiki and I will visit again

You give it to staff and at 8:30 AM you get a basket with your food! The pool is really clean. You can get a delicious lunch from the bar next to the pool. It offers smoothies, cocktails, branded drinks and food

The burger and club sandwiches are a good pick. For the sea, be careful with rocks, they are everywhere. The hotel has made some paths with sand only where you can walk but i suggest getting special shoes

Amantes is an exceptional and a very unique place. The rooms are very modern but the resort is extremely well integrated with the nature around it
