Elani Bay Resort

Our stay at Elani Beach Resort left us with mixed feelings. The natural surroundings and location are beautiful, and the rooms are spacious, although a bit outdated. For some reason, the mosquito nets on the terraces were completely non-functional.
​The reception staff were polite and helpful, but the rest of the service was disappointing. Furthermore, there are no nearby shops for basic necessities like sunscreen or drinks.
​The beach, though beautiful, was not clean enough. A major letdown was the sunbed policy – hotel guests can only use sunbeds from the fourth row onwards, as the first three rows are for an extra charge. It's clear that guest comfort is not a priority. We also noticed the pool was quite dirty.
​The food situation is another big problem. The breakfast dining area is exclusively an outdoor terrace with no indoor section. Because of this, the area is constantly swarming with wasps, making it impossible to eat outside. We were forced to take food back to our room, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel breakfast. The beach bar was just as bad; some days they had a couple of pizza options, but on most days, they had nothing to offer at all.
​This hotel has the potential to be a wonderful resort, but significant changes are needed. With better logistics and improved service, Elani Beach Resort could be a great place to stay. I would not recommend this hotel for people who don't have their own vehicle.

The hotel is very expensive for what it offers. The rooms are in need of renovation, with non-functioning windows and a lack of cleanliness. There is no dedicated parking space for residents, and with the area being crowded, you may end up parking far away. On the positive side, the location is nice, right next to the beach. However, the beach bar was disappointing, offering no food besides pizza. The breakfast was good — probably the best part of the hotel.

Beach bar review: I was charged 6.50€ for a frappe that's listed as 4.50€ in the menu. At the time I'm writing this, there is nothing in the menu about paying 2€ extra for milk and the waiter did not explain that to me. The manager did not seem to care either, she just brushed me off quickly.

It's a shame they don't care about customers satisfaction, because the beach was amazing and the frappe was one of the best I've tried in Greece. There is a lot of potential for this business but I guess they don't really think long-term.

Great place, wonderful nature around, beautiful small beach.
Taverna prices are really cheap and everything is so tasty.
Breakfast is till 10 am, and if you come 5 min later, it is over...
Staff could be more friendly, and their behaviour on the breakfast was rude, just because we delayed 5 min. disappointing because it is such a lovely place.
Sofas in the apartment are uncomfortable, and you can see that they're cheap.. I will say again , what a shame for such a lovely place
