Best Hotels in Sounio

The views of the Temple of Poseidon from every angle were amazing. The weather wasn’t the best, and we wish the outdoor hot tub was heated. So fun and not as intimidating as you would imagine

I was a little unsure as some of the reviews online were negative (?!). To our surprise and delight this beautiful hotel provided us an incredibly relaxing stay with out of this world views of the Temple and the Aegean

The sea was delightful and warm in October. There is a small convenience store walkable at hotel entrance that sells beer, wine, and snacks at very cheap prices. The half board dinner buffet is outstanding

I also thoroughly enjoyed working out at the the gym which has outdoors weights rack and matts with a view over the Poseidon temple and the sea. I will definitely come back to stay and dine here

Staff is exceptional and anticipates your every need. We went in late October diring a cold spell of 20c/70F so be aware none of the outdoor pools are heated. The i door spa pool is heated

Perfection! Thank you to all at this special hotel, my son & I had a wonderful stay. Our main aim was to visit the Temple of Poseidon and so the hotel was chosen for its location

Perfect place to get away from the hustle bustle of Athens. Ideal as a day trip or a weekend getaway. Affordable food, breakfast etc. Ideal location to soak up the sun at the beach, or to hike to the Temple of Posidein

I had an absolutely wonderful time here at this hotel with my family. The location stunning view of the ocean from my balcony. The restaurant amazing food along with the beautiful view of the temple of Poseidon

Our greeting into the hotel and restaurant was excellent and as the sun was setting the staff were very eager to help us take some wonderful photos of the setting sun. Then the real excitement and experience started

After dinner I made a point of asking to meet the chef in order to thank him and his team for a beautiful dinner. So folks make your own minds up about this beautiful place. We loved every minute of our time there

To finish it off I had a massage upon request. Mimi you are so professional and soothed my aches and pains. You made me feel so rejuvenated and ready for my long journey home

The beach bar for dinner was very good! Really enjoyed my meal there in a lovely setting and it is open until 11pm. Breakfast is VERY busy but has lots of options. The beach has cabanas and towels and lifeguards

My husband and I stayed here with our infant early this summer in a beach front bungalow. The staff and service were amazing. Their hospitality was the best we’ve ever experienced and they accommodated our infant as well

Even though the resort was probably mostly full or full when we visited, we had our beach to ourselves most times and really only felt that others were staying here at breakfast where everyone eats at the same spot

I understand people who say the rooms aren’t “modern” as they aren’t probably the most modern in terms of technology, however they are quite charming and clean

As I’ve read through some of the negative reviews, I disagree with them and they seem to be mostly from locals who aren’t actually staying at the resort

The front desk even coordinated a couple taxis with us upon request. We will stay here again and I highly recommend
