We visited this hotel for 1 week as a family. The location is great, in the Tigaki area of Kos. You can walk to the beach or use the pools at the hotel grounds and find many restaurants on the streets around. The beach is nice, but windy. Another great holiday spent with friends at the Gaia Village. 4th time in a row visiting it's like returning home. All the staff friendly, helpful, and polite. The entertainments team try their hardest to get you to join in actives but are not pushy. The bar staff again great fun. Andy and Luli and the rest of the bar staff are a credit to the hotel. Overall had a lovely stay only niggle would be the room no tea/coffee facilities unless you upgraded room. We picked this hotel due to its private beachside location and proximity to Kos town, as the bus runs every 15- 25mins. The hotel was superb, excellent rooms with sunset views, superb food at both the gorgeous beach taverna or in the hotel restaurant. I cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, they really make you feel like family. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel with affordable prize. Location is perfect if you want to visit Kos City (~30mins walking) or go for the beach (~10 mins walking). Rooms are spacious and very clean. It was my first time to Greece and my first solo trip abroad and the hotel made me feel right at home and the pool is lovely and the staff at the bar especially are really nice, I would highly recommend going here if it's your first time abroad or your a frequent fligher

I had such a special and welcoming stay at Kalimera. Absolutely no complaints about my stay, the service was wonderful. From a slight booking hiccup to, getting me a taxi back home to the airport and everything inbetween. Very basic hotel, really small room. Noisy street and tiny balcony with no privacy. People were smoking on their balconies making mine unusable. Breakfast was fine, reasonable choice and staff were ok though the head of housekeeping was shouting at the maids in front of guess which is not professional. They clean your room but do not replace the coffees or teas you use.

The location was fine, rooms were clean, and breakfast was as expected for hotel standards. Our major complaint was that the air-conditioner would shut off after a few hours. Once in the middle of the night and another time only an hour after we turned it on. Staff was OK, bartending crew were the best.
