Good for people who like silent. The Hotel is not in centre. Bedding, towel, clean up the room every day. The staff is very helpful. Some of them talk in Russian, Germany language. To the pool a lot of inflatable toys and mattresses. Negative: very small bathroom, after shower how to try be carefully always water on the floor.

I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet , relaxed holiday , perfect place not far from town and all your needs catered for , friendly helpful staff and good clean swimming pool , nice food served all day at poolside and when you return at night a nice bar to wind down .

The most friendly and welcoming hotel I have ever used. It is a basic 3 star hotel but immaculatelly clean, what they do they do with a smile and to perfection. Very good fresh food served, Greek breakfast was fabulous and the pools are very nice too. I liked it is a mile or so away from main town which made it ever so quiet which appealed to us.

Been going there since 1998, twice a year sometimes, absolutely love the place Apostolis (Paul) and his family can't do enough for you .

Brilliant place. Friendly owners and staff. Great value for money. Only a 15 minute walk to the village and Kos Town is only 15 minutes by bus. We will be staying at fili again next time we go to Tigaki.

Haven't rated the rooms as I didn't stay there, just stopped off at the cafe... which is great! Attractive surroundings and friendly staff, but best of all, interestingly different menu choices that are both delicious and healthy, with some treats in there too. Love it, and will be back.

I got the opportunity to stay at Ipanema in Tigaki. Even though it seems far away from the airport or from Kos city, Tikagi is a little village with all facilities and a beautiful beach nearby.... Since I rented a scooter also the more remote places were easy to reach under half an hour. Hotel Ipanema is owned by two lovely sisters Elefteria and Dionesia, who did a wonderful job to provide the guests...

I use Ipanema as a coffee bar on a regular basis, during long stays in Tigaki, on my own. They make the best lattes! The sisters that own/run the business are fabulous and make me very welcome. It's extremely relaxed and friendly. The sisters appear to know everyone by name ! I and my son have stayed in the hotel briefly at different times. It is a good, basic budget hotel with the expected facilities...

The 2 holland women are very kind funny and professional. The hotel is very near to old city port and city beach. They kept for us for 2 days big luggages for our trip in Astipalea. Besides of that we had a sudden problem and they allowed us to cancel the reservation without fees. Very very advised!!!!

Small property, close to center of town. Older building, very clean, very safe. Two stories (levels) no elevator. Small basic rooms, firm mattresses, decent size bathrooms . Very good for the price.

We only spent 1 night here. The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. Although the rooms have a decoration from the 90s, we liked this nostalgia at one point. The important thing was that the rooms were clean and we did not have a problem with this. they let us leave our suitcases there for a few hours on the day we checked out.

Nice family run hotel with a good pool area and a bar thats well priced with a good selection of food. The rooms are small but clean and the staff are all friendly. The breakfast is a little lax in choice but for a 7 night stay will be ample. The hotel is located a short 5 minute walk from the beach and a 15 minute walk to the main part of town.

Extremely clean, pool furniture like new, GREAT location right by Lambi beach (which is gorgeous), only 5 minute walk to bustling Kos Town, LOADS of restaurant choices. We stayed here 3 nights and was brilliant! Hotel was gorgeous and the pool area was fab. We went to the pool in both morning and afternoon and there was a choice of sunbeds both times. Breakfast was great - plenty of choice and included in the price. Close to everything you could want in Kos town.

Lovely family owned hotel. Very lovely friendly staff and owners. Nice clean rooms. Bar and pool downstairs. Only complaint was the noise between the room and the very hard beds. But at the cost you pay, you can't really argue. Location is a small walk from all the main things to see and do.

I had a very nice stay at the Olympia hotel back in September. The rooms were nice, luminous and had balconies. The lady at the reception was very friendly and competent. They also serve breakfast every morning. The only con was the tiny shower, were water was leaking from after very time I had a shower. But except this everything was perfect. I recommend it.

Nicely located hotel with renovated and clean rooms. Breakfast and service were also good. We just stayed there for a night but I would choose it again. The only negative thing was that our room had a window looking in the laundry area which was a bit noisy. A window net would be also a good idea.

I don't understand why this is a two-star hotel. Everything is very clean, well designed and thought out (with well placed light switches and USB outlets at the bedsides). They even made us breakfast 30min earlier so we could catch our bus! A beautiful and very cheap stay in the center of Kos town

I stayed a week in this hotel in August 2018 and I had a great time. The price is very convenient and the hotel has everything you need. The owner is very kind and helpful and speaks Italian well.

This is a quiet place only 5-10 minutes walking from the beach. We booked this for a night while on Kos. The man running the place is a very very friendly older Greek man who was very helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean, and for the price a real bargain. If you are looking for a place just to crash for a week, I would highly recommend this Hotel Hellas.

We only stayed for a couple of nights so the room didn't need to be cleaned so not an issue like in other reviews. Staff were friendly and helpful, there's a great little supermarket close by too, handy for little bits. it's quiet in the evenings (midweek anyway) ... For the price i swear some reviews seem to think they are royalty on a budget... Fully recommended

Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are a good size and very comfortable, with working AC and a lovely little balcony. There was also a fridge in the room. Given the high prices generally in Kos, the room was good value. We didn't eat here so I can't comment on the food but there are lots of great bars and restaurants close by.

It is an old hotel that lacks some little things like shampoo and shower gel in shower but the staff is pretty nice and helpful. An old lady from my tour group had a problem with her room card and they helped immediately. Boris and family made our day with their hospitality during our day in Kos! We were able to keep our luggage at their hotel while we explored the island and they even helped us carry our bags and drove us to the ferry station. Truly a WONDERFUL family! Nice hotel, good room size, reasonable cleanliness, excellent location in the center of the old city, close to the beach. But the facilities are old, the shower needs a refresh and the bed is uncomfortable. The service of the staff is excellent, everyone was very kind.

Great location 100 yards from harbour front, bars and restaurants. Staff excellent, couldn't do enough for you. Hotel has been renovated and everything is clean and tidy. Only small problem, if you rent a vehicle there is nowhere to park overnight, just public roads. Many thanks Jack n Jan.

I stayed a couple of nights at the Catherine hotel and found it very comfortable. The staff were most helpful and spoke good English. I was en route to Bodrum in Turkey and when I found I could not take my motorbike, it was no problem for me to leave it there for the rest of the week. It is clean and central, you can walk everywhere. The staff is OK, there is a balcony as well. But very noisy exactly due to its location. Plus the clients are also noisy, maybe I was the unlucky one but I was sleepless all 4 nights there.

Situated a few steps to the harbour this hotel is very pleasant place to spend a few nights in the heart of Kos Town if you don't need luxury . The hotel is not a new one but the simple rooms with balcony are cosy and clean and everybody is pretty friendly. I personally enjoyed it.

We really liked this family owned hotel. We had room 212. A small balcony that had the view of the bay from one side. Comfortable to sit in the evening and have a glass of wine. The bed was good. The bathroom had a small shower ... They were kind and lent me one of their hair dryers. It worked well for us... The breakfast was fantastic! You MUST ask for his wonderful homemade strawberry...

Clean simple room very small TV with basic channels which is installed too far and too high from the bed considering the size of the TV no wifi or I was not informed about it. Not recommended if the price gets above 30 euro unless you have nowhere else to go.
