We had a fantastic two weeks everyone was very polite and helpful. The location was near to everything very flat for people with walking difficulty. We picked this hotel due to its private beachside location and proximity to Kos town, as the bus runs every 15- 25mins. The hotel was superb, excellent rooms with sunset views, superb food at both the gorgeous beach taverna or in the hotel restaurant. I cannot praise the staff enough. Very nice hotel, people working there were very nice and friendly. There were not many attractions nearby, but there was not really any need for them, because every night there was some event happening at the hotel at one bar. Lovely room(massionette) plenty of space and clean. Food was good. Plenty of options. Our personal view was the family village food was better. Beach beds have been upgraded which is a nice upgrade. Staff were fairly mixed. Some not as friendly and prob had enough of the high season. Overall a lovely hotel and resort.

Firstly, the staff were incredible. From reception, to waiters, the crepes woman and our maid were so kind and friendly. Everyone is always willing to help anyway they can. Had a great time here. Our children and 5&6 and loved it. The views are amazing, the room was a bit dated but the layout worked well for our family. The food was really nice and so was the staff. We loved the beach and went snorkeling every day. Probably will return.

I did not spend the night at the hotel. But! My girlfriend and I missed the last bus to Kos while in Mastichari. We decided to walk along the road until dark in order to reduce the cost of a taxi. We were lucky, on the way we were picked up by a manager from the horizon beach resort, gave a lift and helped to order a taxi from the hotel.
