Gaia Royal is probably one of the best resorts we've stayed. Rooms cleaned daily so very clean. Very nice hotel, people working there were very nice and friendly. There were not many attractions nearby, but there was not really any need for them, because every night there was some event happening at the hotel at one bar. There are couple things that are absolutely great about that place: first of all friendly stuff - always there to help, great example of Greek hospitality. Irene on reception is one of the best hotel employees on the planet. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and a makes an effort that shows she really cares. The rooms are basic. The food is average. Had a beer in the bar and it was warm. Pool area OK.

We loved our stay at the resort, but let me first mention what we didn't like. The cappuccino costs 4.5 euros. The kids' program is in German. Why? I don't get it. I'm not German.
