I would especially like to thank Maria Zatrbouti and Lucy at the reception — their warm smiles and solution-oriented approach truly made our stay more enjoyable. It was a short but unforgettable holiday

Great experience and family friendly. Everything you could need at the resort. The food was delicious and the spa was wonderful. Lots of activities to do for both adults, couples and even the children

The rooms, pools, and the entire hotel area were very clean and well-maintained. All the staff were friendly and helpful

The staff were so friendly and helpful; staff in the restaurants remembered the drinks order and room number each evening. Food was top quality and slightly different each evening

A Wonderful Holiday Experience! We had a fantastic 2-day stay at Astir Odysseus Kos

We recently visited as a family of four with 2 kids aged 2 and 4 and I can confirm the hotel is brilliant. Stand out items for us: Food - we went all inclusive and all meals were really good quality

They don’t interact well and did not appear to be interested. If it wasn’t for how amazing Jonas is. The entertainment would be 1 star. Vodka not included in all inclusive and have to pay for drinks after 11pm

Also you could tell the drinks were watered down especially the alcohol after 9pm I could taste the difference in the wine. Rooms cleaned every day and plenty of fresh towels although the maids do tend to call early

Snack menu was minimal and disappointing they only had baguettes and cake during the day when the restaurant was closed

Soft drinks didn’t taste nice and the coffee was awful. Our bathroom was not refurbished so was a Hose attached to the taps of the bath. Overall we had a good time but unfortunately will not be returning to this hotel

We visited this hotel for 1 week as a family. The location is great, in the Tigaki area of Kos. You can walk to the beach or use the pools at the hotel grounds and find many restaurants on the streets around

Surrounding area is beautiful with plenty of shops bars and restaurants and the the beach with water sports in walking distance. Negatives: The 2 entertainment ladies weren’t very good at all

I know everyone has another taste, but you can always add more salt, you cannot minus it, especially if we talk about meals for kids. However, there is so many products every day I found something amazing

Gaia Royal is probably one of the best resorts we've stayed. Rooms cleaned daily so very clean. Mini zoo for kids and also mini golf, several kids play, tennis, football, basketball court, 3 very good pools with bars

) breakfast (even in description) is "american" what it means cakes are defrozen and donuts tastes like paper. However there is a lot of fresh products to do oatmeal, prepare salad, variety of cheese and sausages

or you can rent car, scooter, beach buggy or quad and travel to other beutiful spots in under 30mins. would we do Gaia royal again definately 100% yes. This place is special and has something for all ages

lunch&supper Food generally is very salty, fried potaoes or vegetarian meals sometimes so much it was unpossible to eat it

The whole place is very well organised, garden is marvellous, there are paths for babystrollers and plants and palms are amazing. Bravo for reusable cups - it makes place seem much more clean and friendly

I really feel bad to write this review as I do think this is a great hotel with truly fantastic staff but management's decision to dilute the drinks undermines all of the hard work the staff on the floor do and takes away the perks of having an all inclusive holiday

Once again Gaia palace did not fail to deliver another perfect holiday. The hotel is so clean and well looked after. The grounds and facilities are beautiful and the food is delicious

We had a medical emergency which is everyone's worst nightmare when over seas and they supported throughout. Very much appreciated and will be remembered

The food is lovely with a modest selection and we ate well at every meal but the ONLY issue we had was that the drinks were very watered down, so much so that it no longer resembled the drink it was supposed to be, this is for soft and alcoholic drinks which is a pity as that took the cherry off the cake

They are the friendliest most wonderful people, nothing is too much trouble for them and they are the reason we return year after year along with many of our friends we have met here who return year after year and agree it is the best place to stay in Kos if not the world! Special thanks as always to all the staff for making our holiday so perfect and the biggest thank you to Nitsa (hotel manager)...

But above all the best thing about this hotel is the the staff and how much they care for the guests and each other

Entertainment team are so very friendly and the aqua gym each morning was great. All inclusive drinks are everything we needed and the constant supply of ice cream for the children was amazing

One of the best experiences we ever had. Let me start from the location. This place is 20 minutes from the airport (Taxi costs 25-30 euros). The reception was super friendly and explained everything upon arrival

Really good place to stay at. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. The food quality is really good and fresh, everyday you have other choises. Next time we go again to Smy Kos Beach!

Had a trip into kos town which is beautiful, bus stop 5 minutes walk from the hotel and cost 20 euros for 6 of us. Lovely mix of nationalities and lots of friendly chats in the hotel

There is a mini market just near the pool and you get most of amenities. The room which we got had an amazing view! The room was clean and every day they cleared the room

There were not many attractions nearby, but there was not really any need for them, because every night there was some event happening at the hotel at one bar

Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful… be prepared to not have “English Grub” as you are in Greece 🇬🇷 after all!!! Lots of snacks and drinks through the day in between meal times, I have a very fussy 14year old - happy to report she did not starve and always found something! The pool is freshwater and was quite chilly to initially get in, but once that part is over it’s refreshing and a great way...

Some extraordinary things we have appreciated: - there are no bracelets for all-inclusive, which is so good for those who get irritated because of them; - guests can choose their drinks at the restaurant and take them autonomously

What an amazing week my daughter and I had!! The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful, the area is quiet and safe… right across from the beach where there are gorgeous sunsets and you can see across to Turkey 🇹🇷 Can also get a boat over from Kos town which is about 40minutes walk, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel or taxis

The rooms are basic but comfortable and have ample space and all the things you would need to make you stay relaxed and content, comfortable beds, fabulous shower and big balcony, the TV didn’t have many English channels but we wasn’t there to do that

I found it so funny because you'd see so many people arrive, check in and see them for food a few times before you find out they decided every meal they'd just eat out, even though it's all inclusive

Who ensured hotel was kept in tip top shape, offering a wide selection of well presented food, that tasted as good as it looked, being an extremely critical foodie, I had nothing to complain about much to the delight of my family!! Only one drama related to an excursion which was dealt with by the TUI rep

Food cold a lot of the time al la carte not much different to main restaurant. Lifeguards aren't on every pool Beach small not Clean also it has a blue flag status covered on cigarette ends and plastic cups

Why management can't have this tidied up as it would benefit the hotel massively. kos town is nice and a good price taxi is €9. The harbour is beautiful Nice places for food and drinks

I would definitely recommend the hotel, however maybe before you book any trips with the tui reps do your own research, we had a certain boat trip in mind and was told it didn’t exist, only after booking another more expensive trip with tui, we went into town to find the exact boat we wanted at a fraction of the price, and the tui boat was a let down

We have just arrived home from a lovely week away, the hotel was spotlessly clean the staff all worked really hard and were polite and friendly you were always greeted with a smile and hello

The swimming pool was massive and you never struggled to find your own space in the pool, which was great as you didn’t need to worry about the kids annoying anyone

Food is plenty full there was always somewhere you can grab something to eat

It's an all inclusive so of course they're going to use the same ingredients to ensure less waste, but the variety and quality is as good as it's always been, if not better

The same mix of greek and western food and still has the themed nights like in the past e. Mexican, Greek, American, mixed grill. Definitely something for everyone to eat and of high quality also

Almost perfect hotel. Very kind staff, perfect room, bars, restaurant, food, and pools. Only 1 comment about the beach, it is not very attractive. Walking distance to Kos town.

For anyone worrying about their upcoming holiday because of the odd negative review and change in owners, we arrived last week it's still. oir favorite destination for both us and the children

But if you are looking for a calm, family friendly hotel which feels safe, with enough to entertain the kids that isn't too loud and rowdy and in your face, then this is your place 🙏🏻 This year we visited the on site restaurants which we haven't done before, we had our best meal on the island yet (we have eaten out many times as Kos town, Tigaki and Zia)

If I hadn't read the reviews I wouldn't have even know of the change in owners. The restaurant was the same high quality as always, if anything it seemed better and had more salad options

Visit club zone a lovely guy called dimitirus works there he is amazing and very helpful and kind to everyone and will assist u with anything the hotel doenst have it’s a 5 min walk you can watch football there put any songs you want, you can also ask if the buggy men can take you they normally can when they are free

We can warmen recommend this hotel. All workers are very friendly and helpful. They want to make every guest happy and feel comfortable. They pay attention to every need

A drop head shower which was great only downside to the room was the shower flooded the whole bathroom and toilet but no big deal. The pool is fab and climatized so isn’t freezing if the weathers good

Cocktails were ok but watery, bar staff would make what you want if it’s not on the menu. We booked a candle lit meal for 300€. It was 7 courses served in the nest the food was amazing

It also has a jacuzzi function. Amazing sun loungers and a fabulous sea view. We ate at 3 of the restaurants. Main buffet restaurant Usual buffet stuff

We received a fruit platter it was nice but would have liked some savoury items. You get the gazebo for 3 hours but due to the heat we didn’t stay the duration. Pools Infinity pools No sun loungers after 9am

Luxurious hotel at a beautiful location. The service is top, you feel at ease and comfortable. Nothing is too much for the personal. Very high quality of the food

Food was brilliant, staff were brilliant, entertainment was brilliant, the beach had plenty of room on it so getting a lounger was not a problem and Dimitri from the zone bar was great again and really helpful

The service at Mitsis Norida was exceptional. The staff was always attentive, polite, and ready to assist with any request

There are some suggestions to improve: - the food needs to be titled - water dispensers separate from the bar or even bottles / otherwise long waiting for just water - exclude paper cups - hand out some information about program and make sure to update the app (we came down to the beach to have Pizza assuming it closes at 6pm but we were told it closes at 4pm) - have kids animators in the club who...

Great range of superb food choices in the many restaurants. The pool areas and beach meant you always had a different view and you could get drinks and snacks from the many bars and kiosks around the resort

We had the best vacation of our lives at Blue Domes!! We did the best gathering at the hotel's spa!! gymnastics from excellent athletes!!! delicious food every day!! and we saw the best smile in the world on the face of the beautiful Elizabeth in the main restaurant!! Amazing holidays like a dream!!

She, with the guy with the glasses in the lobby, the lady who is doing the pita breads on the beach and the lovely old Greek at the entrance of the restaurant are SMILING. I have noticed that a lot of others are not

The staff were all lovely, especially Stamatia! Very friendly and surprised us with a special pancake selection, smiley faces, happy to get to know you and overall positive experience

Rated 4* plus in brochure but charged 5* tax at hotel, believe it's a 4* myself, furniture everywhere needs an upgrade, staff can't do enough for you especially Mohamed at the pool bar always got a smile and very polite, it's a fair walk from restaurant to pool so could do with a few random benches for the people with walking difficulties, food was very good with snacks all through the night and mini...

I may have been wrong with my action but I was definitely wrong with my expectation of my experience for the Greek fish restaurant experience

Very likely I will cancel my bookings for the Chinese restaurant and Asian meal restaurant, I don’t want to have the same feeling. Again , maybe a wrong choice but my heart tells me it is the right choice

Cleaned every day and mini bar stocked every day if needed. Only downsides were that the bathroom could do with an update, and glass doors replaced for privacy. However, the room was great and A/C worked very well

Just came back from a great week at Akti Palace. Arrived mid evening to a glass of Prosecco, the staff were very welcoming. We had a deluxe suite, it was very large and modern

Another plate contained tomato, cucumber and feta cheese Then came another course of lobster tail, scallap and red cabbage. Only problem was that I had no clue how to eat the lobster

The service at the restaurant is okay mostly the waiters are fast to take the dishes but it's quite normal that some people can't eat when they want because there are no seats left

Very good manager that solved our problem with rooms ( 2 rooms not close to ech other for one family - 4 small children and 2 adults). Excellent food, clean rooms, clean pools and small cute beach

The shuttle into Kardamena was always on time and room for our large party. Within 10mims you are in the town for a more lively night out with lots of bars, shops, restaurants and sea front views

Excellent holiday, the staff did amazing to look after us especially Stavrianna in the adults bar, she went above and beyond our expectations she was friendly and always asking if we’re okay she provided great service throughout our time

Lots of fun had at the animation pool area, between us in the group we took part in a lot of the activities such as Zumba and Water Polo, special thanks to Omar and his team for being so friendly and helping others have lots of fun

- The drinks quality was VERY bad. if course there were no fresh juices but neither the typical juices from the bottle. I ended up drinking water all the holidays

The staff was so polite, everyone was smiling every day and said good morning. We especially want to say thank you to Lucy, who cleaned our room, made wonderful swans that pleased us every day.

The air conditioning unit had leaked all over the floor in the night so by the morning there was quite a lot of water covering my side of the room in which I had to use the towels provided to soak it up with

The lady at reception was nice and offered us another room and very helpful. The pool area was nice and clean plus loved the fact we were always able to get a sun lounger

Myself and husband arrived at the hotel at 3am feeling exhausted after a long flight with delays. We were given our keys to our room and told to check in, in the morning

As for location it is at the far end of kardamena yes its quite and restful but its not a 45 minute stroll to town as most brochures say it a 10 good minute taxi ride

I had a wonderful time at the beach snorkelling and the water temperature was lovely. Me and my husband do like to keep fit so used the gym everyday

Unfortunately our room was very tired and out dated plus the air conditioner wasn’t working so our room was hot and uncomfortable

Cocktails was a let down for me. I love a cocktail but sugar syrup and alcohol and soda water don’t make a good cocktail. I ended up going into Kos old town to cocktail bar and that was class

No problem getting a sun bed but a lot does depend on time of the year but still beds available when I got up

The only slightly negative opinion is that the drinks are not to everyone's taste. Apart from that we are having a wonderful time, thankyou for such a fabulous holiday

Food - there was a good variety. All inclusive program is perfect. The zero sugar soft drinks was only cola. No fruit soda zero sugar options. Service was exactly as I prefer, not in your face or over the top

And finally the drinks such as the coke are so watered down that it is impossible to drink

best hotel, best place on the kos, we love this places, in this hotel is very good food and staffs, thera are animation programs and night showtime, pool is good, sea is very very very clear, hotel room is clear, and we were here for 4 time and we will come back next year

During our stay, a number of our party became unwell with a possible stomach virus. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The hotel is in a very pleasant location, overlooking the sea and very close to the beach

Sam from the bar worked so hard and always had a smile on his face. He was so friendly and is a credit to the hotel. Chico from the entertainment team again was friendly and got everyone up and involved

Also Tania the Dining Room Manager and her staff who organised a wonderful birthday celebration for one of our party celebrating a ‘special birthday’ with lovely table decorations, wine and cake

Just returned from an amazing week at the Sovereign Beach Hotel. We were so happy with everything, all rooms were clean and tidy. We had a swim up room which was amazing
