Reviews
The pictures advertised in the offer are different to what you are getting. The bathroom looked like straight out of a prison cell and was broken, the bathroom door locked itself and had to be opened by a handyman. There was an overall bad smell in the room and on the whole hotel area, it seemed like the plumbing was broken.
The manager agreed in refunding us three nights (in writing) and we booked our flights back home earlier. After many emails and reminders we still did not get the refund and feel willfully scammed here.
Very frustrating to say at least. Do yourself a favor and book a different hotel.
It seems they only show pictures of the newly renovated rooms, which look stunning, modern, and clean—one of the reasons I chose this hotel. I’ll attach pictures of the room I stayed in, which I paid €150 for.
To make things worse, after two days, I got food poisoning, which completely ruined my holiday. My partner also got sick. When we checked recent reviews, we noticed that other guests had experienced similar issues.
I will never recommend this hotel.
The hotel is made out of 2 buildings and a swimming pool between them. At first floor you will find the breakfast area. The hotel has also a nice reception, a bar close to it and the beach area across the street, but nothing special. Free admission to it if you are staying at the hotel.
The parking is 100 metres away from the hotel, with signs towards it and plenty of parking spaces, no security around it or at entrance.
We had lunch in one of the days, prices over the average of the village, but quality according to it. Classic cocktails not following the recipes.
We didn’t use the pool area of the hotel. It looks very good, you can see people cleaning it almost daily, but has a bad smell that kept us away.
Last I will talk about is breakfast. Decent number of products, decent bread and viennoiserie selection. Unfortunately all 4 of us had stomach issues after attending it so we stayed away from scrambled eggs. Even more unfortunate was the fact we heard other people complaining about the same product. I talked with one of the manager but no response about the problem was given to me in 5 days.
More and more reviews have been posted in the last few days for this hotel, and not for the neighboring hotels (I have checked). This clearly indicates a problem specific to this hotel and not a virus in the area, as the hotel claims. There is sewage water in front of the hotel most of the time, accompanied by a horrible smell, which may be contaminating the tap water. Additionally, there is mold in the room and bathroom (photos attached).
They advertise this as a 4-star hotel, which is a scam in my opinion. They have two separate buildings—one is comparable to a 2-star hotel and has nothing to do with the other building. If you complain about your room, they ask you to pay the difference to be moved to the other building, as mentioned in other reviews.
This hotel is not worth paying $150 to $400 per night—not even close. I hope local authorities take action soon! Found this number for customer complain Greece # 1572 or 1520 which I will try Monday, do not know if is the right one.
We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone. All the employees there are too kind to all the guests in the hotel, always smiling, positive and ready to help with whatever they need. We want to especially thank the manager (I don't know what her name was) because i(pregnant 8months) mentioned pancakes that i saw the previous day at the buffet, she immediately went to tell the chef to make them for us. We would also like to thank Sonia who works in the spa and massages. My pregnant wife and I had a massage at her place and she was so nice positive smiling and professional in what she does. It was our first time in this hotel and we are so positively surprised by the hotel. This is the first and only hotel in Greece that we liked everything and that all the employees were excellent, the hotel was always clean and the rooms also smelled nice, the pool was also cleaned daily. We wish you much success, many guests and to continue like this for many years, see you again next year !!
Breakfast is good
Staff is great
Parking is available at close range
Staff is very friendly
Con’s:
-You can’t get into the pool because the water is too hot probably around 38-40 degrees,so the pool is useless
-The room in which we stayed right next to the pool had mold, if you are allergic is very bad!
-Curtains in the room did not close properly so light comes into the room
-Shower had rust inside
-The major problem was the air conditioning which did not work properly, probably doesn’t have the enough capacity to cool down the room, the temperature in our room was always at 26 degrees and we left the air conditioning at maximum all the time!
-We paid 350 euros per night but it’s not worth more than 100-150 per night!
We had a terrible experience at this hotel. The room had a bad smell and poor hygiene, with mold on the walls. One of the rooms was in the basement with no source of fresh air. They moved us from the basement room to another one of equally low quality, but the situation there was even worse. The door lock had a hole in it, it was extremely noisy, and the smell was terrible. This was a total disappointment for our family vacation, especially at a price of 430 euros per night.
Feel free to adjust any details as needed.
They have a kitchen in the room, but it's not allowed to cook, just to prepare baby food. But there is no pan, pot, not even a kettle. Then, why a kitchen??
Did not feel nice or luxe at all, more like cheap motels.
When you exit the room and enter a restaurant, it's a whole new world.
So, if anyone wants to book this hotel, eather book a suite, or go elswhere. Studio is a no!
Facilities someone needs to feel like royalty! Great beach, with restaurant, music and umbrellas. Amazing breakfast, extremely clean room, the sea view was magical… We will be back!
